Today I wish to address to you a certain brand of loneliness. It is perhaps the most debilitating form of the condition. The state is sometimes referred to as “isolation” or the sense of being disconnected, apart, abandoned or simply “different” from everyone else you know. This situation is compounded when friends, coworkers and even family members begin seeing you differently. They’re not so much intrigued by your positive changes but rather disappointed by your shift in attitude and may even be concerned for your mental stability. These otherwise well-meaning souls are occasionally characterized as the “sleeping” and you may very well be part of the “awakening.”
The Awakening Mind
I say “awakening” because the experience appears to be very dynamic and fluid by nature. I’m not sure I would recognize or even fully appreciated an “awake” mind for they are far and few between us. But for those who are experiencing various stages of wakening, you are as visible to me as I am to you.
Generally speaking, the awakening mind radiates at a much different and “higher” vibration than most other people. Since this “vibration” wants to resonate harmonically with similar or complimentary energies, it can (and often does) resonate with like-minded people. It can, however, just as easily create discord with those who resonate at a much lower vibration. Just imagine striking a non-complimentary note on separate pianos, especially with one out of tune. That’s the discord I’m referring to, except in this case, the resonance resides within the psychic and spiritual realms.
I speak in terms of “higher” and “lower” vibrations without truly qualifying what is meant by that. First off, there is no state superior to another. Like changing stations on a radio dial YOU choose the station you need (or want) to be on. Most people are tuned to what I consider to be a limited awareness. This does not make them any less sublime or capable as Humans. This is merely the channel they are “tuned” to and as such they are acclimated with that world.
This vibrational density is impressive in its own right for it has the power to generate fantastic illusions so convincing that even the conscious mind can fully buy into it. This ability to manifest a false paradigm and to believe it to be true requires considerable power. But you, my dear reader, may have peeked behind the proverbial projector screen and have seen an assembly of gears and levers and perhaps even a portly, unassuming little man attending them with due diligence.
Stepping Out of the Matrix
The awakening mind —now that’s a different story. The higher vibration of this mind-body state allows a more commanding view. Like stepping up a ladder, you can look down and see (though not really live) the dynamics of the lower vibrations. Each step up the ladder requires tremendous courage, an open and curious mind and a high degree of “functional” intelligence. Those steps command effort -much more effort than what most are willing to exert. Sleepers may go so far as to observe or even stumble over this hypothetical “ladder” and still not recognize what it is or how they may benefit from it.
People on the lower rungs of the ladder rarely look up. They choose to frequently look “down” which may give them a false sense of superiority or dominion over their world. They are especially prone to the hypnotic suggestion television creates and may even go so far as to “act out” various fictional characters or their favorite professional athlete. The lower state is easily entertained- and anything or anyone who challenges their status quo will be dismissed as an outsider, a misfit or a threat.
The Slide and Adrenalin
I have alluded to a ladder- but now I would like for you to imagine a slide. Going “up” the slide takes some effort. You must go up the steps, higher and higher until you reach the top. One may then position themselves in such a manner so to enjoy the ride downward. This downward “thrill” is brief but exhilarating. The slide provides a good physical example of going from a higher state to a lower state and the ensuing thrill from moving in this downward fashion.
There are also many examples of the slide analogy within the spiritual realm. Turn on any news station and you will soon be bombarded with “energy dropping” stories that create a sort of “rush” –a rush that, curiously enough, is habit forming. These news sources often report stories of tragedy and high drama. So severe are these stories they actually can cause the body to produce an adrenalin related “rush” or high. Once again we find ourselves “sliding” down that imaginary slide and into a lower vibrational state. The “mainstream” news networks have created legions of adrenalin junkies. The “sleepers” are their primary target.
During the course of their day, the sleepers gradually build their energy level back up. But soon they find themselves back on that hypothetical slide and are sent swooshing down once again into a lower energy state. It’s a vicious, repeating cycle that keeps the sleepers fast asleep and drunk happy on adrenalin.
Lonely at the Top
Many readers of Rattleberry Pie have stayed on top of the ladder long enough to take in the view. They’ve recognized that the view is more exhilarating than the fall. They saw many things up there- things that would be hard to describe to those below. The awakening mind continues to build “steps” higher and higher, and soon they are peeking above the clouds. Now they look down from this lofty position and see the tiny dot that was their slide. They are amazed by how that relatively insignificant slide inspired them to move higher. Sliding down from this cloud level height is really no longer an option, at least not in the traditional sense.
Here is yet another dilemma of the awakening mind. Once you have experienced the process of awakening there really is no going back. The one (down) side is the higher you get, the more rarefied the air becomes. Loneliness can settle in. The awakening mind is an exceptionally vibrant mind that requires considerable stimulation and camaraderie. But it’s lonely up there. Indeed.
The awakening experience is truly a gift. It’s is not for the weak or the meek. It takes much strength and courage to achieve these higher levels of enlightenment. Those who are awakening come in all sizes and shapes –many are the so-called Indigo’s, the Crystal’s, or essentially any Human that realizes their personal power and potential and that there is much more to this world than they’ve been told.
One may ponder if those in the process of awakening have a moral obligation to try and wake the sleepers. From my own observation and experience I would advise against this. Simply let them sleep. The best way to reach them is over time. Be gentle and incremental in your approach. This is the same technique the “powers that be” have used on you -that was until you saw a little “string” that connected to other strings that held the tapestry of the matrix in place.
So be an example. Radiate with love and truth. Project health, exuberance and happiness. Be aware without being angry (easier said than done). The sleepers must see the higher steps of the ladder as being worth the effort. They may someday abandon the rush of the fall for the beauty of the view.
Just by virtue of being aware you are already contributing in a vast and energetic way to those around you. They “sense” your vibration and may try to resonate with you some day. You have been given “eyes to see” and “ears to hear” so you have been blessed. Yes, until others begin to see as you do the loneliness -the isolation can feel very real at times. Let me remind you that you are not alone. We feel you out there- we are grateful for your presence and we love you so very, very much.
Until next time.

Native American animal symbols can encompass just about all the animals, and their symbolic representation to the many tribes of the Americas. To narrow down the focus a bit, this page is devoted to birth animals – or zodiac animals. Many Native American cultures have the belief that a person is assigned an animal upon the time of birth. Below are interpreted Native American symbols of the zodiac and the characteristics for each one.
Otter: Jan 20 – Feb 18
A little quirky, and unorthodox, the Otter is a hard one to figure sometimes. Perceived as unconventional, the Otter methods aren’t the first ones chosen to get the job done. This is a big mistake on the part of others – because although unconventional, the Otter’s methods are usually quite effective. Yes, the Otter has unusual way of looking at things, but he/she is equipped with a brilliant imagination and intelligence, allowing him/her an edge over every one else. Often very perceptive and intuitive, the Otter makes a very good friend, and can be very attentive. In a nurturing environment the Otter is sensitive, sympathetic, courageous, and honest. Left to his/her own devices, the Otter can be unscrupulous, lewd, rebellious, and isolated.
Wolf: Feb 19 – Mar 20
Deeply emotional, and wholly passionate, the Wolf is the lover of the zodiac in both the physical and philosophical sense of the word. The Wolf understands that all we need is love, and is fully capable of providing it. Juxtaposed with his/her fierce independence – this Native American animalsymbol is a bit of a contradiction in terms. Needing his/her freedom, yet still being quite gentle and compassionate – we get the picture of the “lone wolf” with this sign. In a nurturing environment the Wolf is intensely passionate, generous, deeply affectionate, and gentle. Left to his/her own devices the Wolf can become impractical, recalcitrant, obsessive, and vindictive.
Falcon: Mar 21 – Apr 19
A natural born leader, the Falcon can always be looked upon for clearjudgment in sticky situations. Furthermore, the characteristics for this Native American animal symbol never wastes time, rather he/she strikes while the iron is hot, and takes action in what must be done. Ever persistent, and always taking the initiative, the Falcon is a gem of a personality to have for projects or teamsports. The Falcon can be a little on the conceited side – but he/she is usually right in his/her opinions – so a little arrogance is understood. In a supportive environmental the Falcon “soars” in his/her ability to maintain passion and fire in relationships, and always remaining compassionate. Left to his/her own devices, the Falcon can be vain, rude, intolerant, impatient, and over-sensitive.
Beaver: Apr 20 – May 20
Take charge, adapt, overcome – this is the Beaver motto. Mostly business, the Beaver is gets the job at hand done with maximum efficiency and aplomb. Strategic, and cunning the Beaver is a force to be reckoned with in matters of business and combat. One might also think twice about engaging the Beaver in a match of wits – as his/her mental acuity is razor sharp. The Beaver has everything going for him/her – however tendencies toward “my way or the highway” get them in trouble. Yes, they are usually right, but the bearer of this Native American animal symbol may need to work on tact. In a nurturing environment the Beaver can be compassionate, generous, helpful, and loyal. Left to his/her own devices the Beaver can be nervous, cowardly, possessive, arrogant, and over-demanding.
Deer: May 21 – Jun 20
This Native American animal symbol is the muse of the zodiac. The Deer is inspiring lively and quick-witted. With a tailor-made humor, the Deer has a tendency to get a laugh out of anyone. Excellent ability for vocalizing, the Deer is a consummate conversationalist. This combined with his/her natural intelligence make the Deer a must-have guest at dinner parties. Always aware of his/her surroundings, and even more aware of his/her appearance, the Deer can be a bit self-involved. However, the Deer’s narcissism is overlooked because of his/her congeniality and affability. In a supportive environment the Deer’s natural liveliness and sparkly personality radiate even more. He/she is an inspiring force in any nurturing relationship. Left to his/her own devices the Deer can be selfish, moody, impatient, lazy, and two-faced.
Woodpecker: Jun 21 – Jul 21
Woodpeckers are usually the most nurturing of all the Native American animal symbols. The consummate listener, totally empathic and understanding, the Woodpecker is the one to have on your side when you need support. Of course, they make wonderful parents, and equally wonderful friends and partners. Another proverbial feather in the Woodpeckers cap is the tendency to be naturally frugal, resourceful, and organized. In a nurturing environment the Woodpecker is of course caring, devoted, and very romantic. Left to his/her own devices the Woodpecker can be possessive, angry, jealous, and spiteful.
Salmon: Jul 22 – Aug 21
Electric, focused, intuitive, and wholly creative, the Salmon is a real live-wire. His/her energy is palpable. A natural motivator, the Salmon’s confidence and enthusiasm is easily infectious. Soon, everybody is onboard with the Salmon – even if the idea seems too hair-brained to work. Generous, intelligent, and intuitive, it’s no wonder why the Salmon has no shortage of friends. This Native American animal symbol expresses a need for purpose and goals, and has no trouble finding volunteers for his/her personal crusades. In a supportive environment, the Salmon is stable, calm, sensual, and giving. Left to his/her own devices, those that bear this Native American animal symbol can be egotistical, vulgar, and intolerant of others.
Bear: Aug 22 – Sep 21
Pragmatic, and methodical the Bear is the one to call when a steady hand is needed. The Bear’s practicality and level-headedness makes him/her an excellent business partner. Usually the voice of reason in most scenarios, the Bear is a good balance for Owls. The Bear is also gifted with an enormous heart, and a penchant for generosity. However, one might not know it as the Bear tends to be very modest, and a bit shy. In a loving environment this Native American animal symbol showers love and generosity in return. Further, the Bear has a capacity for patience and temperance, which makes him/her excellent teachers and mentors. Left to his/her own devices the bear can be skeptical, sloth, small-minded and reclusive.
Raven: Sep 22 – Oct 22
Highly enthusiastic, and a natural entrepreneur, the Crow is quite a charmer. But he/she doesn’t have to work at being charming – it comes easily. Everyone recognizes the Crow’s easy energy, and everyone turns to the Crow for his/her ideas and opinions. This is because the Crow is both idealistic and diplomatic and is quite ingenious. In nurturing environments this Native American animal symbol is easy-going, can be romantic, and soft-spoken. Further, the crow can be quite patient, and intuitive in relationships. Left to his/her own devices, the Crow can be demanding, inconsistent, vindictive, and abrasive.
Snake: Oct 23 – Nov 22
Most shamans are born under this Native American animal symbol. The Snake is a natural in all matters of spirit. Easily attuned to the ethereal realm the Snake makes an excellent spiritual leader. Also respected for his/herhealing capacities, the Snake also excels in medical professions. The Snake’s preoccupation with matters intangible often lead others to view them as mysterious, and sometimes frightening. True, the Snake can be secretive, and a bit dark – he/she is also quite sensitive, and caring. In a supportive relationship the cool Snake can be passionate, inspiring, humorous, and helpful. Left to his/her own devices, the Snake can be despondent, violent, and prone to abnormal mood swings.
Owl: Nov 23 – Dec 21
Changeable and mutable as the wind, the Owl is a tough one to pin down. Warm, natural, with an easy-going nature, the Owl is friend to the world. The bearer of this Native American animal symbol is notorious for engaging in life at full speed, and whole-hearted loves adventure. This can be to his/her detriment as the Owl can be reckless, careless, and thoughtless. Owls make great artists, teachers, and conservationists. However, due to his/her adaptability and versatility – the Owl would likely excel in any occupation. In a supportive, nurturing environment the Owl is sensitive, enthusiastic, and an attentive listener. Left to his/her own devices, the Owl can be excessive, overindulgent, bitter, and belligerent.
Goose: Dec 22 – Jan 19
If you want something done – give it to the Goose. Persevering, dogged, and ambitious to a fault, the Goose sets goals for accomplishment, and always obtains them. The goose is determined to succeed at all cost – not for the approval of other – but those with this Native American animal symbol competes with his/her own internal foe. Driven is the watchword for the Goose’s dominating personality trait – which makes them excellent in business and competitive sports. When tempered with supportive, nurturing family and friends, the Goose excels in all things he/she attempts. In a loving environment the Goose can be very passionate, humorous, gregarious, and even sensual. However, lead to his/her own devises, the Goose may fall into obsessive or addictive behaviors that will inevitably be his/her demise.

Time is in essence a grand illusion that has taken a hold of our consciousness and conditioned our reality to believe in it, thus we then become enslaved by the illusion and suffer the karmas associated with it. Bound to the ticking of the clock, we slowly but surely create our own death. The entire infrastructure of the 3rd dimension is built around time (scheduling, dates, sequencing and chronological order) and thus reinforces the illusion.
Understanding Time can also open up dimensional pathways to other worlds/times/realities that serve as a bypass for the inevitable collapse scenarios.
In the Singularity of Source, there is no time – only an Infinitely Conscious Presence of Being that exists in all forms and all spaces at once. As one comes to recognize Source, one is freed from the bonds of time and all karmic causality is destroyed. In the Immortal Timeless Presence of Source – the past (or the future!) have no power and one becomes a Karma Immune Being. This is an extremely powerful vibratory state to exist in and by residing here one is free from ALL conditionings, delusions, illusions and cycles of time.
Karma no longer has power over one because the Law of Cause and Effect needs a temporal (time) bubble to exist within.
Outside of time, nothing can precede anything or condition any future moment, for there is no future to affect. In the same vein, the energy of the past peels away from one’s being and becomes nothing. The causal links between the past and the present are severed, thus no karma can possibly ripen or even exist in the Timeless State. As for the redemption and forgiveness of karma, the embodiment of Source Presence is the most powerful – and ultimately the only real mechanism behind karmic cleansing. Source was and always is free from karma. Karma is simply a denser shroud that cloaks our Original Innocence. Timelessness is inherently innocent for there is no time in which anything different can stain it.
For many people, it is absurd to believe that time is an illusion, for it appears to be reflected everywhere and appears to exist as a fundamental, inherent and unchangeable condition of this dimension. Thus we appear to be trapped within it and there seems no mechanism for transcending time.
It is very important for readers to understand what time is. In essence, it is nothing other than a mental construct created by the ego-mind to separate out perceptions and events into an order, so that the sensations arising from them can be assimilated and made sense of.
Truth – Beings in the 3rd dimension can only ever perceive one thing at a time.
It may appear we can perceive many things in the linear dimension at once, but in reality, the linear mind can only handle one perception at a time – no matter how ‘bunched up’ these perceptions seem.
The mind in the 3rd dimension cannot perceive directly the Timeless Singularity of Source, for the mind exists within duality, and within duality all things appear distinctly separate. In order to perceive all of these distinctively separate phenomena, the mind projects a ‘holdingspace’ for these phenomena called space-time. The space aspect creates a medium for distinguishing everything and providing a contrast between one phenomenon (object, sound, smell or any other kind of sensation) and another. 3-dimensional space has no inherent reality of its own and cannot be perceived to exist as a ‘stand-alone’ phenomenon. It always requires some kind of phenomena so as to be distinguishable. The construct of space allows the mind to see where one form ends and another begins.
However, once one penetrates the realms of the subatomic – there is simply a sea of superstrings that are not at all separately grouped, in relation to the 3D objects that contain them.
There is no boundary between the superstrings in me and the superstrings outside of me. The illusory sense of boundary that exists within 3D is transcended.
Readers can reflect on this. Where does the ‘me’ start and the ‘me’ end?
What is the ‘me’? Where is the ‘me’?
One can reflect deeply and find that space is simply a mental vacuum – a mental space – where mental projections can be inserted into. Because the sensations that the mind perceives are externalized, this mental space then appears to exist outside of oneself and have a distinct reality of its own. Belief in its inherent reality then creates the illusion of the 3rd dimensional spatial matrix. The illusion of space then gives rise to the notion of distance, which is nothing other than a mirroring of our own separation from Source.
This illusion was spawned so early in our formative years that we have come to forget there is any other way of perceiving reality. The transcendence of the illusion of distance (a concept created by the mind) results in the ability to bi-locate and teleport. As the energies from the Central Sun reach their zenith, this will then facilitate bodily teleportation and the subsequent Ascension as one is able to stand outside of the limitations of the 3D matrix of space-time.
One can also enter the microcosm in this state. Once I was able to see into the space between the outside and the inside surface of a quark as described here:-
These superstrings are in everything and have no size. They constantly are seen to rotate, flicker in and out of existence, and birth new strings that break away and form new superstring structures elsewhere. They emanate an extremely powerful golden light. The surfaces of individual quarks appear as shiny rainbow translucent membranes. One’s consciousness can zoom in to see billions of superstrings creating an infinitely intricate fractal pattern that exists between the inside and the outside of the quark – collapsing that particular duality. In the space between the perceived “outside and inside” of a quark, a hundred billion or so superstrings intersect that minute space. The inside surface of a quark appears to move independently of the outside surface creating hyper-dimensional torsion that allows for the formation of wormholes allowing the superstrings to pervade the entire volume of this inner quark-scape. The superstrings sometimes unravel and create the impression of golden highways where trillions of encoded symbols rush down their lengths. It is possible to enter one of the symbols itself and enter another level of quantum reality where particles looking like plasma balls fire out rainbow vibrations in all directions. These plasma balls all appear to emerge from the whiteness and all of them appear to be intrinsically intelligent sub-quark light beings.
The whiteness itself appears as a cylindrical glowing tube that glows almost brightly enough to obscure the “interior”. In places the light reveals particles within that appear to be shaped like a torus (dough-nut shape). They sparkle, glisten and fold in upon themselves in almost inconceivable ways to give the impression of a continuous mutation of form. At this level we are seeing dimensions several billion times smaller than the thickness of the external membrane of a quark. The energy is intense here, and rainbow bolts of lightning appear to be projected out of the torus structures. The arrow of time appears to point in all directions at once and events within some pockets of this reality appear to flow in retrograde. There is enough energy buried in one of these torus structures to provide all the power humanitywould ever need. All of the energy of the entire Universe flows through each of these structures and thus they are infinite resources of energy.
Time is inherently bound up with the illusion of the spatial matrix, for it is nothing other than a supplementary construct created by the mind to prevent ‘the box’ filling up with everything at once! Everything can and does happen at once within Singularity Consciousness. Time is another form of contrast that orders perceptions of all kinds of sensual phenomena into a manageable stream, that can then be analysed by the mind. Linear time is an endless, incomplete continuum that always requires another perception in order for its existence to be continued. Thus the mind can never be in the Presence and instead continues to habitually grasp for the next experience.
There is never a completeness of experience, for it is always open ended. One perception leads to another – and another – and so the illusion continues indefinitely. In the awarenessof the higher dimensions there is a deeper completeness. Linear time then becomes a circle and transcends its own illusion! In this ‘completion of the circle’ one sees oneself as Source Presence that does not require a location in space-time to exist. In the stepping out of the Presence of Source the wheels of time turn once again!
Physical transmutation of the body (Ascension work) causes our being to move into alternate temporal realities where time appears to run at a much faster rate. This causes all of our karmic processes to speed up and accounts for the experiences of those undergoing all kinds of emotional and spiritual processing in a much shorter time than the conventional norm.
The apparent appearance of accelerated time is due to the contrast between the timeless dimensions and this linear dimension. Our own perceptions of time are influenced by the powerful energies of the higher planes and the stream of higher vibrating energies creates the sensation of altered temporal realities. When this is understood time is then seen to slow down and dilate.
This temporal dilation can allow for some remarkable experiences, such as the ability to teleport 2.4 billion light years or so across space in the blink of an eye (read Keys to Immortality).
There are no limits beyond the constraints of time and distance and one then becomes an embodied intergalactic traveler, able to traverse the Universe at will. Huge networks of wormholes within 10th dimensional superstrings open up billions of galaxies that can be explored by the higher-dimensional Timeless self.
It is a truly mind-blowing experience to be presented with such an astonishing expansiveness of reality. However, that is the norm in the Universe, and it is only the belief in the limitations of the linear world that we find ourselves confined to one planet amongst a dying species whilst the Cosmos surrounds us waiting to be explored.

Are you curious about Astral Projection or having an Out Of Body Experience (OOBE)? The following are 30 innovative techniques for inducing astral projections and OOBE’s!
Please note: the following techniques should be performed only in deep trance or sleep paralysis. You are most likely to achieve this state by following one of these approaches:
As soon as you wake up in the morning, resist the urge to move and keep your eyes close. If you do it right, you might still be in the light sleep paralysis, trapped in between dream and reality. This is the ideal state that can become a gateway to astral projection if you use one of the techniques below.
Go to sleep as you normally do. Set an alarm, so it wakes you up in 4 or 5 hours. Once you wake up, get out of bed (it’s important) and keep yourself busy for about an hour. Read a book, or browse AstralForum.org for inspiration. After one hour, come back to bed and lay down on your back. Allow yourself to fall back asleep – if you do it right, you are very likely to enter a sleep paralysis within 30-50 minutes. This is the perfect state to try one of the OOBE techniques below.
More on how to achieve sleep paralysis here: Sleep Paralysis Induction Techniques.
OOBE METHOD #1 YO-YOThis OOBE
technique is one of my favorites. Before you go to sleep, choose a spot in your bedroom. It can be anything that you are well familiar with: bookshelf, closet, door…Once you’ve chosen the spot, take a close look at it. Examine it carefully. Pay attention to what it looks like. Touch it and memorize all the sensations. Now, go to sleep. As soon as you wake up, shift your awareness to the spot you had chosen earlier. Visualize it as vividly as you can for about 1 second, and return to your usual focal point and observe the darkness in front of your eyes. Keep staring in the darkness for 1 second and repeat this 2-step visualization over and over again, as if you were a yo-yo moving back and forth. This focal point shifting will likely to cause vibrations and eventually will result in full separation from your body.
OOBE METHOD #2 FREE FALL
Imagine yourself falling down incredibly fast. Try to feel all the sensations that accompany free fall. Feel the speed of your free fall. If you do it right, you might experience vibrations and a general sensation of “not being sure where you are in space.” If any of OOBEsymptoms occur (vibrations, buzzing noises, voices, rapid heart beat), continue your visualization. When you feel like you are very close to projecting, visualize yourself hitting the ground. Sudden collision can cause a sudden separation from your body.
OOBE METHOD #3 STARING IN THE DARKNESSStart staring in the dark space behind your eyes. Pay attention to the patterns of light that will beging to form in fron of you. Wait until they transform into recognizable figures and objects. As the realism of the observed shapes increases, you will be able to either separate from your body, or enter the observed scene and begin lucid dreaming.
OOBE METHOD #4 OOBE INDUCER SOFTWARE
OOBE Inducer Software (OIS) is a browser-based software that has been developed by Astral Forum. Is now available for free. OOBE inducer is very easy to use. All you have to do is click the START button and go to sleep. After 4.5 hours of sleep, you will be woken up by a recorded voice message. The voice will remind you not to move and keep your eyes closed. As you fall back asleep, another voice message will wake you up and remind you to stay still. After a series of such alarms, your mind will become quite awake and you will reach the state of sleep paralysis. Once in sleep paralysis, it will be very easy to induce astral projection using any of the methods listed here.
OOBE METHOD #5 ROPE
This astral projection technique was created and popularized by Robert Bruce. It is perhaps one of the most popular OOBE techniques among practitioners. I also used it a lot of time with success. The idea is easy. Imagine that there is a long rope hanging right above you. Without opening your eyes or moving your physical body, visualize yourself reaching up towards the rope and start climbing up. Try to feel all the sensations that usually accompany climbing a rope. Feel the tension in your arms (not real tension – keep your body relaxed!) and the weight of your body. Climbing the rope will cause vibrations and their intensity will increase as you go. Continue to climb faster and faster to speed up the process, until you fully separate and achieve out of the body experience.
OOBE METHOD #6 EXHAUSTION
This astral projection technique was discovered by our moderator the Witch. The idea behind this method is that your body falls asleep very easily when you are exhausted. If you figure out a way how to keep your mind awake, you will easily reach sleep paralysis and OOBE as a result. Here is what you have to do. Don’t go to sleep until you feel too sleepy to keep your eyes open.
Lie down in uncomfortable position. For most people it is on the back. Try to stay aware of all the sensations that accompany the process of falling asleep. Don’t let your awareness fade away. No matter how much you concentrate, your body should be able to fall asleep anyway. Once you pass the hypnagogic imagery / sounds / vibrations, simply try to “get up” without using your muscles. You should be able to easily separate from your body this way.
OOBE METHOD #7 LISTENINGConcentrate on the sounds you may hear in your head. You might hear some sort of noise, buzzing, humming, or voices. Keep listening and you should notice the increase in volume and intensity of the sounds. When the sounds get really loud, try to separate from your body with a rapid movement. Sometimes, the noise itself is enough to separate from the body.
OOBE METHOD #8 ROTATING
Visualize your body rotating along an axis. Feel this movement without having any tension in your muscles. If vibrations occur or rotating motion begins to feel real, continue the technique to intensify those sensations. You might experience loud buzzing noises and rapid hard beat as you proceed. Ignore those sensations and keep rotating. Eventually, you will find it easy to fully separate from your body.
OOBE METHOD #9 FORCED FALLING ASLEEP
This OOBE technique is best performed in the morning, right after waking from sleep. It requires that you keep your eyes closed and reamin motionless at all times. Try not to concentrate too much on anything and allow yourself to fall asleep, just for 10 seconds. It will trick your brain into thinking that you are actually going to fall back asleep, which will induce a sleep paralysis and generally will put you into a state from which you can easily enter astral projection. After 10 seconds of attempting to fall asleep, perform an agressive attempt to separate from your body. Simply, try to pull yourself out of it without moving a muscle.
OOBE METHOD #10 STRAINING THE BRAIN
This is an interesting technique that can be pretty effective in achieving out of the body experience. It is hard to explain how this should be done if you’ve never tried this before. Even though that’s impossible, try to “strain” your brain. Simply try to squeeze it inside your head. You should feel an “imaginary” tension. This might result in vibrations and the sensation of falling down. Continue to strain your brain until the full separation occurs.
OOBE METHOD #11 STRAINING THE BODY
This OOBE method requires you to strain your whole body without actually using your muscles. I know it sounds weird, but try it. It should give you a weird feeling of some sort of tension inside of your body. This non-physical tension can be your gateway into the out of body experience. When you are in the right state (sleep paralysis or right after morning awakening), strain your body as described above and see what happens. It should immediately give you a sensation of floating, vibrations, perhaps weird noises. If such sensations occur, continue to strain your body until you fully separate.
OOBE METHOD #12 OBJECT VISUALIZATION
In sleep paralysis, or right after you wake up in the morning, your mind has incredible visualization capacities. It should be easy to visualize objects that you’re well familiar with and make them feel real. Take advantage of this fact and imagine a small object in your hand. Make it something very familiar. You should know exactly how it feels in your hand. It could be an apple, cell phone, your apartment key, or something like that. As you visualize it, try to make it feel as real as possible. Especially, concentrate on the touch – what does it feel to hold this object in your hand? As you continue your visualization, it should become more and more real. At some point, you will realize that you are much more aware of your visualized hand (astral hand) than your real one. As a result of such realistic visualization, you should be able to easily enter astral projection or lucid dream.
OOBE METHOD #13 TUNNEL
Visualize a long dark tunnel. You’re in it. At the end of the tunnel there is light. Now, imagine yourself flying through the tunnel, as if you were an airplane getting ready to take off. You’re going faster and faster. At this point you can feel vibrations and noises. Ignore them and focus on your visualization. As you enter the white light at the end of the tunnel, you will separate from your body and the projection will start.
OOBE METHOD #14 RUNNINGI
came up with this technique a while ago and it’s been very effective. Once you are in the right state, imagine yourself running as fast as possible. It is important to keep your muscles relaxed. Good visualization skills are not necessary here – you can imagine the sensation in your legs instead. Try to feel the imaginary tension in your muscles as you run faster and faster. Keep your real muscles completely relaxed. This technique will result in vibrations. As the vibrations become very intense, imagine a solid wall ahead of you. Imagine yourself running towards it faster and faster. Finally, hit the wall as you run into it – usually this moment will cause a complete separation and an out of the body experience will begin.
OOBE METHOD #15 EYE MOVEMENT
This technique is known to cause or intensify vibrations. Once you are in the right state, perform a couple quick left-to-right eye movement. It should throw your focal point off balance and likely cause astral projection, or bring your closer to it by deepening the vibrational state.
OOBE METHOD #16 SWIMMING
If you’re a good swimmer, you can use your muscle memory to achieve out of the body experience. Once you’re in the right state, begin to visualize yourself swimming. You should recall exactly what it feels like. Feel all the movement and muscle tension that swimming involves but keep your real muscles completely motionless and relaxed. This OOBE technique has a similar effect to “Rope Technique” – it will gradually increase the vibrations and lead you to full separation.
OOBE METHOD #17 DOT ON THE FOREHEAD
Usually, your focal point is located in between your eyes. That’s where you usually feel your consciousness is. This astral projection technique involves concentrating on the spot right above your usual focal point. It is usually where the third eye is believed to be. Focus on that spot and try to shift your awareness to there. This might cause a sensation of floating and vibration. If it happens, keep doing that until the full separation occurs.
OOBE METHOD #18 PHANTOM WIGGLING
Try to wiggle your hand or foot without using your physical muscles. Try to “feel” the movement instead of actually performing it with your body. If you begin to feel wiggling while your body remains still, it means you are on your way to leaving your body. Continue to wiggle parts of your body, make it move more and more without using your real muscles. At this point you might experience vibrations. Keep doing that until the full separation occurs.
OOBE METHOD #19 ROOM VISUALIZATION
Once you are in the right state, visualize yourself walking in the room you are currently in. It is important that you visualize it in 1st person perspective, so it actually feels as if this is were your really are. Continue the visualization until it becomes more real than the sensations coming from your body laying in bed. Imagining that you are somewhere else will shift your awareness point away from your body, which will be the starting point of your astral projection. Try this method, it’s really effective.
OOBE METHOD #20 RECALL
This technique can only be used by a person who have already experienced astral projection it in the past. As soon as you reach sleep paralysis, begin to vividly imagine your previous astral projection. Try to recall all the sensations that accompanied it. Make your visualization as vivid as possible. Imagine what it felt like to separate from your body. Did you feel vibrations? Buzzing noise? Heaviness? Try to recall all the details. While doing that, you might experience the same sensations that will lead you to a new astral projection.
OOBE METHOD #21 ROLLING OUT
Once you reach sleep paralysis or wake up from a sleep, immediately try to roll out of your body to the edge of the bed. Do not use your real muscles. Try to remain as relaxed as possible. All you need to do is to aggressively roll out. Two things can happen: you might find that you are already out of body, or it can cause/intensify vibrations / noises that will lead to astral projection.
OOBE METHOD #22 LEVITATION
After soon as you reach sleep paralysis or wake up from a dream, immediately try to levitate upward, parallel to the bed. Do it with confidence, without thinking if it’s possible or not. Remember that your body should remain motionless. This technique can cause a quick separation from the body, or will bring you closer. If the full separation doesn’t occur, try any other method immediately.
OOBE METHOD #23 BACKFLIP
Upon awakening, try to perform a backflip without using your muscles. This rapid shift of your focal point can result in immediate out of body experience. If it doesn’t happen, try to deepen your relaxation by using some other technique.
OOBE METHOD #24 TRAIN
Imagine you are on the train that is going really fast. You are running through the train corridor towards the end of the train. Imagine how noisy it is in the train while you’re running. This is a great way for your auditory hypnagogic hallucinations to kick in. As you run through the train, try to focus on the noise that you should be hearing more and more intensively. Finally, when you get to the end of the train, jump off. In the moment you hit the ground, you will exit your body.
OOBE METHOD #25 VIBRATIONAL FIELD
As you lie down in bed with your eyes closed, visualize a field of vibrating energy right in front of you. Feel how the energy vibrates within the field – you can visualize it as a square field of white light pulsating and vibrating in in front of your body. Now, slowly move the vibrational field towards your body. As your body touches this field of energy, it absorbs its vibrations. You will be surprised to see that you will really begin feeling vibrations. Keep moving the vibrational field towards your body, until your whole body is within the vibrating energy of white light. Feel the vibrations running through your whole body. Try to intensify them. Then, attempt to simply roll out of your body.
OOBE METHOD #26 SWINGING
Imagine yourself swinging on a swing. Try to visualize it as vividly as possible. Focus on how it feels. Try to identify yourself with the motion that is experienced on the swing. Shift your focal point onto the swing. Now, try to go higher and higher. What does it feel like? At some point you will experience some of the typical OOBE symptoms. If any of those occur, you can try to separate from your body. In order to do so, try to fall off the swing as you go up in the air. This is when you will exit your body.
OOBE METHOD #27 PROGRESSIVE SEPARATION
Progressive separation is also known as French method. It is recommended to use this method when you already are in the vibrational state. Concentrate all your attention on your left foot. Wiggle it a little bit (without moving your physical foot) and try to separate it from the physical body. Do the same with your right foot. Keep doing that will all parts of your body, until you free all of them. If done right, you will be able to fully separate from your body and have an astral projection.
OOBE METHOD #28 TORNADO
Once you reach the right trance-state, visualize that you are Inside the eye of a tornado. Imagine that the tornado forces you to spin incredibly fast. Hear the noise of the wind – very likely, you will hear hypnagogic auditory hallucinations and vibrations & shaking at this point. When you feel that you’re ready to separate, allow the tornado to “spit you out.” Once you hit the ground, your OOBE will start
OOBE METHOD #29 SPINNINGVisualize yourself spinning along the y axis of your body. Remember not to use your real muscles. Perform spinning in your imagination. Try to shift your awareness into the “spinning you.” This technique can be effective when trying to induce vibrational state or immediately separate from the body.
OOBE METHOD #30 ASTRAL ARMSVisualize your arms slowly moving out of the body. Push up with your visualized arms as hard as you can. A full separation from your body might occur. Remember not to move your physical body while doing this (it shouldn’t be possible due to sleep paralysis anyway). Concentrate on this action for a while. If you’re doing this right, you might notice the vibrations becoming stronger. You might feel your body swaying a little. Don’t get distracted by any symptoms that accompany the exit.

The origins of Christmas predate Christianity through the Pagan holiday called Saturnalia, which was a week-long of lawlessness from December 17th through December 25th that honored Saturn and included human sacrifice, intoxication, naked caroling and rape. During these seven days, there were no punishments for breaking any laws, according to Roman law.
In the year 4 A.D., Christianity adopted Saturnalia with the hopes that they could convert the Pagans into Christianity by promising that they could still celebrate Saturnalia as Christians. (Imagine how that would work out today). Because Saturnalia did not follow Christian principles, the Christian leaders designated the last day of Saturnalia as the birth date ofJesus.
In 1466, the Roman Catholic Church, under Pope Paul II, forced Jews to run through the city naked as a tribute to Saturnalia. According to author David I. Kertzer, The Popes Against the Jews: The
Because Saturnalia did not follow Christian principles, the Christian leaders designated the last day of Saturnalia as the birth date of Jesus.
Vatican’s Role in the Rise of Modern Anti-Semitism, “Before they were to run, the Jews were richly fed, so as to make the race more difficult for them and at the same time more amusing for spectators. They ran amid Rome’s taunting shrieks and peals of laughter, while the Holy Father stood upon a richly ornamented balcony and laughed heartily.”
It is important to note that in Astrotheology, Saturn is Satan. The rings we give during a wedding ritual represent the rings of Saturn. The word Saturday originates from the Old English word that means “Saturn’s day”. To this day, many people continue to unknowingly celebrate Saturnalia through their participation in debauchery and gluttony.
According to wiki, the etymology of Christmas stems from the Old English word of Crīstesmæsse, which literally means” Christ’s mass”.
Christmas is derived from the Middle English Cristemasse, which is from Old English Crīstesmæsse, a phrase first recorded in 1038. Crīst (genitive Crīstes) is from Greek Khrīstos, a translation of Hebrew Māšîaḥ, “Messiah”; and mæsse is from Latin missa, the celebration of the Eucharist. The form “Christenmas” was also historically used, but is now considered archaic and dialectal; it derives from Middle English Cristenmasse, literally “Christian mass”. “Xmas” is an abbreviation of Christmas found particularly in print, based on the initial letter chi (Χ) in Greek Khrīstos (Χριστός), “Christ”, though numerous style guides discourage its use; it has precedent in Middle English Χρ̄es masse (where “Χρ̄” is an abbreviation for Χριστός).
Each season is reflected by the tilt and spin of the Earth’s axis resulting with the sun being more prominent in the northern hemisphere for half of the year and in the southern hemisphere for the other half. The winter solstice occurs in winter when the sun has reached its lowest elevation reflected with the fewest amount of daylight hours and the greatest amount of nighttime hours around December 21st.
Our seasons are reflected by the amount of sun and darkness that we receive:
Autumn Equinox – daily sunlight is waning, day and night is equal in length
Winter Solstice – the shortest day of the year
Spring Equinox – daily sunlight is waxing, day and night are equal in length
Summer Solstice – the longest day of the year
Pagans and Christians alike celebrate their holidays on sacred, astrological dates and Christmas is no exception. This particular holiday was has been celebrated for much longer by the ancients as one of the four great festivals that reflect each season through astrology and astronomy.
Esoteric Meaning of the Winter Solstice
Various mystery schools have also celebrated the change of seasons in association with the various astrological signs that fall on the spring and fall equinoxes as well as the summer and winter solistices.
In an esoteric sense, the sun’s cycle represents your soul’s growth in consciousness along with the illumination of your soul.
To envision this, imagine that Spring is the birth of your soul. Once you have reached Summer, your soul begins its decent from its spiritual home into incarnating to this planet. As the days begin to get shorter beginning on the Summer solstice, the decrease in sunlight represents the veil of forgetfulness where we do not remember why we came here or what our purpose is. As the days become longer beginning on the Winter solstice, your soul is released from its physical presence and makes its ascension back to its spiritual home with Source.
On the Wheel of Life, winter is the season of rest and represents preparation for renewed life, similar to how some animals go into hibernation. It is also known as the time of germination as spring brings the flowering of plant life that follows the maturation process into summer; autumn gives us our crops (along with new seeds) and we return to winter to complete the full cycle and prepare for renewed life.
Of the four sacred directions and cardinal colors, winter is represented by the North and the color blue, which in Cherokee, literally means “cold”.
The seasons teach us a lot about the process of birth, life, death and rebirth. Alchemy provides the saying, As above, so below”. Think of this along the lines of how we came here and how we leave this vessel.
After the sperm fertilizes the egg, we go through a maturation process that is identical to the exact number of days of both the maturation of corn from a seed along with the gestation period for a woman to give birth to a child.
The child travels down the birth canal (the tunnel) as the child is brought from darkness to birth (the light). As confirmed through near death experiences, we follow the same process of going through a tunnel and following the light back to Source.
In a grander scheme, this cycle is repeated through seasons and our personal lives from birth to death, proving how our life is simply a mere fractal of the universe, the cosmos and ultimately, of Source.
The Winter solstice falls under the sign of Capricorn, which represents materialism and ego. In astrotheology, this is the time when Jesus (the Sun) indulges in materialism (Capricorn) after leaving his father’s home. It is also the time when Jesus (the Sun) dies on the cross (where the sun remains on the Southern Cross constellation) for three days, only to be reborn again (as the days begin to get longer after this 3 day period).
What religion fails to teach us are the esoteric and occult meanings of the equinoxes and solstices.
Adepts of mystery schools and practitioners of the occult sciences can also attest to thecosmic currents and life force of each season. The following excerpt from Esoteric (Soul) Astrology best explains this process:
All of nature responds to these currents. It is only the human family that has forgotten, because it can no longer see the inner side of reality. The light forces are moving either toward or outward from Earth. This is what creates our seasons. The path of the Sun is intricately involved in the movement of the light currents that fall to Earth.
During Fall Equinox, light from the Sun penetrates the outer atmospheric layers of Earth. At Winter Solstice, the light penetrates into the core of our globe. From a distance outside our solar system, Earth looks like a fiery sphere spinning in the heavens. During the Spring Equinox, the light once again is on the periphery of Earth, and at Summer Solstice, the light is high in the heavens. Note that the light is deep within the core of Earth during winter and high in the heavens during summer. This is both a metaphor and a reality on inner levels.
We can minister to our own personal psychology if we attune ourselves to the influences of the different radiances of light falling to Earth each month and during the solstices and equinoxes. Light waves descending to and ascending outward from Earth are an occult fact, meaning an inner reality not seen by most. Those of us desiring a more complete communion with spiritual forces must come to intelligent terms with this reality, for it is the movement of these ever-changing currents of light poured upon Earth that provide our evolutionary growth. These surges of power propel all kingdoms on Earth upward, lift the spinal spirit fire of the body into the heart and head centers, and have the effect of providing illumination for those of us who have prepared through intelligence and intention to participate.
The Winter Solstice has historically been the time of birth for all of Earth’s great teachers. Because it is the time of new light for the planet, World Teachers choose this particular time to incarnate because they always bring with them a new teaching. This teaching is a new state of illumination for the people of Earth. Winter Solstice occurs on December 21, the same time that the planetary keynote changes from Sagittarius to Capricorn. At the time of the Winter Solstice, the light currents submerged within the core of the Earth reverse and change course, just like the Sun, which is reversing its southward course and turning northward. A reverse movement of any planetary body creates a powerful force until the new motion or path stabilizes. Therefore, from December 21 to midnight on the morning of December 25th, there is a powerful force field of light and radiation enveloping the Earth.
While people argue over ethnic sensitivity issues between saying “Merry Christmas” versus “Happy Holidays”, the truth dates back much further than its Christian beginnings. The intent of Christmas seems to be the overriding value behind its true, esoteric meaning or its Pagan origin. A symbol or celebration is only as powerful as the intent behind it. While Christmas has become the biggest holiday that supports the corporate world which in turn, lobbies against our civil rights, it also is a time of giving and being with family.
