When it comes to finding happiness, many of us seem to be looking for it in all the wrong places, wasting time and energy, not realizing that the root of happiness is within each and every one of us, in our hearts. Allowing ourselves to experience genuine happiness is to become happiness, it is wanting happiness to be a part our lives with all our hearts and being open to receiving it no matter what form it might take.
Today I would like to share with you the five steps that will help you on this journey toward experiencing the real happiness you have been searching up until this very moment
1. Surround yourself with people who love and accept you
Surround yourself with people who allow you to be you, for who you are, not for what they want you to be.
You know those people who are always eager to help you change, even if you don’t want to change? I believe in change, I embrace change, but when a person doesn’t want to change or is not ready to change, forcing her to do just that is quite disturbing. You simply can’t “help” somebody who doesn’t want to be helped.
I can tell you from my own experience that, when you accept and love people for what they are, and you treat them, not as if they aren’t complete or whole, not as if they are inferior to you, that is when you are in fact helping them.
Goethe said it so beautifully, that:
“When we treat a man as he is, we make him worse, but when we treat a man as he should be, as he could be, we promote him to what he should be and could be, we help him grow, and you help him become more than he already is.”
And this is what I call THE POWER OF NON-INTERFERENCE!
2. Cultivate new, positive and empowering habits
It is said that negative habits are easy to form but hard to live with, while on the other hand, positive and empowering habits are harder to form but a lot easier to live with. Just think about how easy it is to form the habit of procrastination for example, which is a negative habit, in case you thought otherwise.
Now let’s try to cultivate a new and positive habit. We want you to wake up every morning an hour earlier to exercise, meditate or I don’t know, you could pick whatever positive habit you want. You will tell yourself that you must do it, you want to do it, you have to do it, and in the morning, when the alarm clock rings, what do you do? You turn it off and you continue sleeping saying to yourself: “I will wake up earlier tomorrow. Yes! Tomorrow I will definitely do it!” Is that O.K.?
3. Invest in yourself
The way I see it, there is no greater investment than the investment you make in yourself, because, just likeEckhart Tolle said it:
“You can lose something that you have but you can never lose something that you are.”
You are your most precious treasure, and if you choose to dig without instead of digging within, you will never find real happiness, you will never find long term happiness, only short and superficial happiness. Learn to see yourself as your most valuable possession, work on doing just that.
4. Lighten your load
You know how people always complain that they don’t have enough, and that they need more, they want more, they must have more? Well, let me ask you this question: Right now, do you really need more? More clothes, more shoes, more money, more stuff, more of everything? I mean, do you really need more than you already have, right this very moment, not in the future, not in an hour, not in a week, a month or a year, but now!
Take time to think about it, if you need it, but chances are that the answer will be NO. According to the 20/80 rule, we only use 20% of the things we have, only 20% … and even so, we always complain that there isn’t enough and that we don’t have enough.
I am not against having money, I am not against having beautiful things, stuff, etc., but the idea is to look over those things you no longer need, to look over those things you no longer use, and give them away, make room for new things, better things to come your way. I am 100% sure that you feel better now, knowing that you don’t just have to give stuff away just to lighten your load, but because you need to make room for new stuff to come your way, right?
5. Take time to recover
People nowadays work way too much and whenever they take a break, that is if they take one, whenever they take a vacation, some time off, instead of enjoying themselves, instead of being present in whatever it is that they are doing, they are thinking about what needs to be done at work, what they should do when they go back to work, whether it was a good idea to take a vacation or not, whether they should go back to work earlier, etc. And of course, this isn’t only about those people who have a job, but for all those people who are always so “busy”.
I want you to read these incredible words that came from no other than Leonardo Da Vinci, who clearly understood the importance and power of resting and recovery, the importance of taking some time off from your work:
“Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer. Go some distance away because then the work appears smaller and more of it can be taken in at a glance and a lack of harmony and proportion is more readily seen.”
You see, if we could all take some time and think about what truly makes us happy, we would come to the conclusion that our own happiness is not something that depends on how others treat and look at us, but rather on how we treat ourselves, how we love ourselves and how we treasure and work with the time we have been given here on this amazing planet.
What we participate in is pretty much the name of the game. What do we spend our time, energy and intention on? What are we consciously and/or subconsciously empowering that’s leading to our own dis-empowerment? Where attention and thus intention goes, energy flows. Where is ours going, collectively and individually? Something to seriously consider on a continual basis in this massively manipulated energetic world.
I’ve been blown away recently by the rapid rise in consciousness we’re witnessing and it’s hitting me between the eyes. The awakening is clearly on and reverberating as new waves of energetic truth continue to pervade every area of society. I’m receiving so many amazing articles, interviews, emails and contributions from deeply inspired people to the extent that I’m almost bewildered. It’s just so wonderful! I love getting launched into new realms of discovery, freedom and empowerment – not just for me, but for our collective consciousness.
It all begins with each of us letting go into new awakenings in our lives which in turn affects the entire cosmic field and further illuminates and empowers the new realm we’re seeing birthed.
Realizing where our attention and intention go is of utmost importance. The last thing we want to do is reaffirm the intent of the controllers, yet we are prone to doing that in fixating on their nefarious machinations, even in our efforts to expose and stop this march against humanity. Far be it from the truth of our overall intention, but we can unwittingly reinforce their ugly parasitic vibe and bring on their end result by helping to articulate and visualize it. Like the contained and manipulated legal and political realms, it’s again the push me, pull me futile game of the matrix. All an energetic scam.
The Awakening Rolls On
It’s time we fully woke up to this ploy. Ours is to take the initiative in wondrous awakened ways to realize, at all times, our given divine birthright and live accordingly. The hourglass for this paradigm does not have many grains of sand left. It’s time we detached and departed from their veiled realm of deceit in every way possible as it crumbles into oblivion.
Fully awakening is really the core of why we’re here. Each human soul is here to find its true purpose and direction. The matrix is a snare, a negative distraction, a challenge to our very spiritual existence. How we handle this challenge is ours to deal with.
It’s fundamentally very pragmatic. Taking charge of our lives means detaching from participation in anything illusory and hence entrapping. It can be “believing” lies of the media, serving their system for financial gain, drinking in their sewage whether it be news or entertainment, or fearing, and thus worshipping, binding governmental and financial contracts simply by participating in them.
Either we play along with the game of fear and survival instincts directing us as they’ve designed, or we go with our hearts and what we have learned and are learning to be true. It’s pretty clear once you’re detached from the disinformation. A real key is seeing what’s coming at us as fact or fabricated fiction, which lends importance to a degree of alternative information. But even there we must be selective and discerning.
Enter the Exit - What’s in a Name?
It wasn’t until I shifted into my core identity to who I truly was that I became fully liberated. Suddenly I was free to write, act and live to my fullest potential. It’s a process and takes some doing, disconnecting from attachments that reinforce the old programming. I have yet to fully make the break with all of my enslaving documentation as outlined in losethename.com but I’m down to precious little and the principle is the same. The rest will follow.
The empowerment that awaits each of us as we become who we truly are, name change or not, is what this is all about. If it works for you fine. It’s not essential nor the focal point except to illustrate the literally binding “contract” we’ve been born into.
I find it interesting that in social media so many people use pseudonyms. This is partially why. It provides a level of liberation. It doesn’t mean someone has made a drastic detachment in their life but it exemplifies a dynamic – operating from a new sense of self and identity without all the baggage of who we once were. This isn’t always good as we know, as many use this very irresponsibly to make disparaging remarks and take pot shots at their target of the day. The system does this all the time to disguise and hide behind their many masks.
The other end of the spectrum is this exciting Babylon Is Fallen phenomenon, actually fully breaking the contract you were stapled with at birth, like an electronic store alarm tag that follows you through life. But even this is not the full issue of conscious awakening, nor does this type of detachment even work unless you’re awakened first. This is clearly outlined in the losethename materials, as so many are looking for quick fixes or get out of jail free cards for purely selfish and self serving motives.
That’s a far cry from the essence of what we’re addressing here. Nor is it the freeman or sovereign concept of working via different forms of law. This is about being completely divorced from the whole enchilada.
The real underlying dynamic is operating from a place of total freedom which can only happen with a conscious awakening that births the process. At that point we continue to evolve in awareness. The pragmatics of what to do next become increasingly evident and it’s off to the races we go! Only it’s not a race, but more like being launched like an unstoppable, free-range, anti-gravity spaceship!
Don’t Reinforce the Negative Meme
This is something I’m becoming more and more aware of and on guard about. Energy flows where attention goes we know is true. Then why the obsessive fascination with what the dark lords and their minions are doing? I don’t mean to say we shouldn’t be aware of it or stick our heads in the sand, but there is clearly a time to back off and make sure we’re maintaining our spiritual footing. And more than that, not participating in their intention and negative energy field.
To see what’s going on we can peruse headlines on many terrific alternative reporting sites. It’s important to keep track of. But we must concentrate on solutions, personal first and societal second, as well as lucid exposures of what’s truly going on and how to navigate these times.
Ultimately it’s all about the intention. Whether we tune into theirs intentionally or by habit, or learn to discern and dissolve their lies whereupon they can be either outright discarded or alchemically transmuted back into the language of love and empowerment.
Find Your Conscious Footing and Operate from There
It’s a process. We have to keep evolving and not get caught in the wash, rinse, repeat cycle. At any level. Some of these traps, pitfalls and hindrances are not easy to identify but they eventually become clear. Then we need to jump the next hurdle and not stop. It takes commitment to truth and is not always easy. It requires change. Constant change and a willingness to go with it.
While some of these changes may appear drastic at first, many are not always big things either.
That’s what makes it fun, finding our way and helping each other through the maze. Dissolving the lies before our eyes takes practice but mostly it’s a way of life, a place to operate from. Anything that tries to move us into a place of shifting sands and soul sucking vortices of deceit and time and energy sapping becomes much easier to discern and hence avoid. Their war on the human mind and body is so intense for this very reason, to screw up our receptivity and draw us into another part of the sticky web of lies.
What they’re finding out though is it ultimately doesn’t work! When we operate from that place of infinite, eternal footing we are untouchable and unstoppable.
Quelling the Voice of Doubt
We all hear it. “Who are you to say that?” “Who are you to do that?” The worst ones are in our heads, but people are often dumb enough to actually voice them for you! It’s actually good to confront these types as it can only strengthen your convictions, assuming you don’t listen and back down from the true voice of conviction.
But let’s face it, it’s that barrage of truth denial and even reversal that we’re up against in this unenlightened and heavily manipulated world. Worse yet is the truth omissions. When the obvious goes unsaid it can be the most devastating to individuals as well as society. That’s why I like to dissect and see through these false portrayals we’re given and fill in the blanks as best I can. Truth is so incredibly powerful it just stands on its own. There’s no ego attached to it, no fake identity or innuendo. It just is, and open hearts and minds will recognize it and rejoice in it.
Don’t listen to those negative voices. Don’t dwell on them. Recognize them for what they are and go on your merry way. The only way anything can have power over us is if we entertain it. That negative vibration is an entropic infection of the most debilitating sort. That’s why dwelling on the negativity of this furious self immolation of these parasitic thugs attempting to co-opt the entire planet is so important to avoid.
It only plays into their game. Starve the beast and get away from it while it violently consumes itself in its final rage. We don’t have to stand there and go down with. Split, in any way you can separate yourself. Revelations 18:4 is a powerful verse that has always resonated with me and kept me living outside the system and the US for decades following the first stage of my awakening and can be applied directly to this culmination we’re witnessing:
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Some good advice, whoever said it.
So…What are we participating in? How much of this beast from some hellish realm are we still serving and feeding with our energy, time and intention? That question is ever before me as I continue in my personal journey. The wonderful thing is there are so many of us, and we’re finding each other!
That has got to be freaking them out…and I don’t need physical proof to know that although there’s plenty out there if you need it.
Dark forces rage against the light, but they can’t put it out. And as we gather in momentum and conscious understanding and living free from their matrix of deceit and continue to break our contracts with them, the light is burning this beast like sunlight hitting a vampire.
Drop the chains and shine on!
Why not? What’s holding you back from the next step? It’s time to get serious about breaking free and start making a real difference. That’s the challenge – for all of us. So why not just do it? Start with one thing at a time. The idiotic psychopathic so-called “rulers” have cornered humanity and ironically eliminated the options to do otherwise. Is this Universe giving us encouragement to make the next grade? I’m inclined to think so.
Encourage yourself – do something radical today and see your real liberated self in action. It’s a blast!
Then take it from there!
We are unstoppable. It’s only ourselves that can get in the way, that stinking fear and pride.
Time to let it go. Meet you there!
Love always, Zen
Compared to secular reasoning, the religious establishment has been slow to act when it comes to moral progress.
Human history is a story of gradual moral enlightenment. Over the ages, we’ve become less violent, less xenophobic, more tolerant, more committed to the ideals of democracy and equality under the law. Of course, moral progress is painfully slow, with many holdouts and local reversals, and we have a very long way left to go. But it’s hard to deny that the world we live in today is less prejudiced and more peaceful than the world 500 years ago, or even just 100.
Religion is a noteworthy exception to this trend of progress. Secular moral reasoning, founded on considerations of fairness and human good, allows for continual self-questioning and improvement as less-privileged groups speak out to demand justice and call our attention to evils that we’d been overlooking. In sharp contrast to this, the immutable doctrines of religion are supposed to be elevated above skepticism. Even if we know more or see farther than the clerics who once came up with them, many religious authorities tell us we should submit our wills and believe without questioning.
The result is that, in most cases, moral progress has left the churches behind. Like the tide going out and leaving once-submerged rocks high and dry on the shore, the archaic doctrines of conservative religion are increasingly isolated and exposed as the immoral and vicious absurdities they are. This has led to more conflict and dissension within the ranks, as believers who grew up in the modern era see the contradictions between what they’re taught and know to be right, and inevitably come into conflict with religious authorities who are determined to enforce the old rules at any cost.
A case in point is the Mormon church’s excommunication of Kate Kelly, a lawyer and human-rights activist who founded a movement called Ordain Women. Kelly’s crime was calling for the all-male priesthood of the Mormon church to be opened to people of all genders, and doing so loudly and publicly enough to embarrass the church leaders. (Although the LDS church calls it a “priesthood,” it’s not a clerical or ministerial position; it’s a rite of initiation, like a Jewish bar mitzvah or a Catholic confirmation.)
Kelly wasn’t a firebrand atheist. She considers herself a faithful Mormon; she was married in the Salt Lake City Temple and went on an overseas mission trip as Mormonism requires. Yet she refused several orders to take her website down and stop speaking out, and just before her excommunication, she was defiant:
“I am not an apostate, unless every single person who has questions to ask out loud is an apostate,” Ms. Kelly said in a telephone interview on Sunday , just before her disciplinary council met.
While she may have meant this comment as a reductio ad absurdum, I think it hits closer to the truth than she realizes. Almost every religion, throughout the ages, has looked unfavorably on people who have inconvenient questions and who insist on asking them out loud. What Kelly has yet to grasp is that religion is a fundamentally conservative force (unlike, say, science, where those who overturn conventional wisdom are rewarded). To claim that the tenets of some existing religion are wrong is to implicitly claim that you understand the will of God better than the authorities of that religion. Naturally, the people who’ve gained status and power within the existing strictures of the church will always look with extreme disfavor on this.
It’s for this reason that religion is not only fundamentally conservative, but anti-democratic. Aside from a few rare exceptions, religion claims that God’s will is delivered through special revelation: it was given to certain people, at certain times and places, and not others. If that were true—if there were people in possession of special, important truths that no one else could ever discover—then it would be the case that those people would be uniquely qualified to tell the rest of us how to live.
But that expectation bumps up against the modern world, where divine-right monarchy is a discredited theory and democracy is a nearly universal idea (so much so that even rulers of autocratic states often feel the need to hold sham elections). The clash between these principles is most visible in the religious people who believe their leaders have a specially privileged understanding of God, but who also apparently believe the doctrines of their church should be put to a vote. The lay Mormons petitioning on Kate Kelly’s behalf are an excellent example:
More than a thousand Mormons sent letters of support for Ms. Kelly to the bishop and two of his counselors considering her case in Oakton, Va. Hundreds turned out for a vigil in Salt Lake City while the hearing was underway, and smaller groups of supporters gathered at 50 sites in 17 countries, according to Ordain Women.
Mormonism isn’t the only authoritarian religion whose members incorrectly believe they’re participating in a democracy rather than an oligarchy. Roman Catholicism has the same affliction: for example, when Pope Francis was being selected, the author Anne Rice and others asked Catholics to tell the Vatican what they wanted to see in a new pope, as if such feedback would be welcomed or even acknowledged.
The sharp divide between lay Catholics and hierarchy is perhaps best illustrated by the issue of women as priests. As recently as 2013, 70% of Catholics believe women should be allowed to be ordained even though Pope John Paul II announced that the exclusion of women from the Catholic priesthood was an infallible article of dogma and could never be changed. Kindly, progressive Pope Francis has said the same, stating that the “church has spoken and says no… that door is closed” with regard to women’s ordination.
It happens in Judaism as well, even though that religion has no single central authority. In Israel, Jewish women fought for years for the right to pray at the Western Wall, braving routine threats, abuse and harassment by ultra-Orthodox Haredi Jews who believe the holy site should only be open to men. Finally, the reformers won a ruling in Israel’s courts, opening up a designated prayer section at the wall for women. The ultra-Orthodox responded by ordering their own wives and daughters to show up en masse and pack the women’s section, so that the women who actually want to pray there and who fought for the right to do so couldn’t get in.
Granted, there are some cases where churches have joined the modern world without being forced to. For example, the Presbyterian church now allows its ministers to perform same-sex weddings, joining some other mainline Protestant denominations that have already taken this step. But this is the exception that proves the rule, since most of the tolerant and progressive mainline churches are in the midst of a demographic plummet. (The more conservative and evangelical denominations are also shrinking, just not quite as quickly.)
And on the rare occasions that churches recognize their past errors, they steadfastly refuse to draw any general lessons from the fact. Earlier this year, the Mormon church formally repudiated the racism of its past rules which barred black men from the priesthood until 1978. This would be a laudable step, except that the church is determined to learn absolutely nothing from it. In its ongoing fight against women in the priesthood, not to mention its fervent and continued opposition to same-sex marriage, it is falling into the same mistake all over again, refusing to recognize that its leadership is fallible, and that any rule treating human beings unequally is morally wrong. This will no doubt be viewed as another stain on the Mormon church’s record, just as its history of racism now is.
Ethically speaking, there’s no doubt that reformers like Kate Kelly and the Women of the Wall have their hearts in the right place, but it’s legitimate to question their strategy. As the ex-nun Mary Johnson has said, at some point you have to ask yourself where your energies are best spent.
Is it worth the effort trying to change religion from within, beating your head against the metaphorical brick wall of a church that’s run by an oligarchy of old conservative men who choose their own successors and who are determined never to change anything? Or does it make more sense to leave that frozen and fossilized cathedral, to renounce religion and step out into the wild garden of the wider world, where anyone can speak their mind and no one can cite the will of God as a trump card?
About the Author
Past-life recognition in children is being studied extensively by various scientists and psychiatrists around the world to prove the survival of consciousness beyond the physical realm.
Reincarnation research was advanced by Dr. Ian Stevenson in the 1960’s, who interviewed thousands of people who had recollections of past lives. Dr. Stevenson discovered that recollection of past lives by children was much more common than many expected and he developed categories to help screen for cases worthy of further study. Dr. Jim B. Tucker, colleague of the late Dr. Stevenson and an associate psychiatry professor at the University of Virgina Medical Center’s Division of Perceptual Studies, has compiled over 2500 case studies of reincarnation, which document young children recollecting their previous lives.
In addition to recalling memories of past lives, people may also carry over physical characteristics from one body to the next, and Dr. Tucker notes that about 20% of the children with whom he’s worked also recollect the time and space where they were between death and reincarnation into a new life.
The three examples below are some of the most staggering stories that might make you question if the soul and human consciousness continue to survive beyond death and are reincarnated to live many more lives.
The story of James Leininger is truly stunning. Since birth, James was obsessed with airplanes and as a young child started having nightmares about flying, weapons, and a plane accident. Shortly after the nightmares started, James stared to recall his previous life as a fighter pilot. Eventually, James was able to share more details about his past life with his parents, such as: the name of the pilot, James M. Huston Jr.; the Navy ship on which he served, the Natoma; his co-pilot’s name; and the fact that he was shot down at Iwo Jima. With just a little effort, James’ father was able to track down Huston’s co-pilot Jack Larson and Huston’s living sister. From that point forth, the boy was able to recall events and people from Huston’s life with such clarity, that there was no reason for his family and Huston’s sister not to believe him. Check out the short video below, and you will also find it difficult to doubt that James Leininger is in fact pilot James M. Huston Jr. reincarnated.
