“No one is more of a slave than he who thinks himself free without being so.”
― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Contemporary baptized, corporatized and sanitized man rarely has the occasion to question his identity, and when he does a typical response might be, “I am product manager for a large retail chain, married to Betty, father of Johnny, a Democrat, Steelers fan and a Lutheran.”
His answers imply not only his beliefs but the many responsibilities, rules and restrictions he is subjected to. Few if any of these were ever negotiated- they were imposed on him yet he still considers himself free.
But is free the right adjective for him, or would modern domesticated simian be more apt? He has been told what to do, believe, think and feel since he can remember. A very clever rancher has bred billions of these creatures around the globe and created the most profitable livestock imaginable. They work for him, fight for him, die for him, believe his wildest tales, laugh at his jokes and rarely get out of line. When domesticated man does break one of the rules there are armies, jailers, psychiatrists and bureaucrats prepared to kill, incarcerate, drug or hound the transgressor into submission.
One of the most fascinating aspects of domesticated man’s predicament is that he never looks at the cattle, sheep and pigs who wind up on his plate and make the very simple deduction that he is just a talking version of them, corralled and shepherded through his entire life. How is this accomplished? Only animals that live in hierarchical groups can be dominated by man. The trick is to fool the animal into believing that the leader of the pack or herd is the person who is domesticating them. Once this is accomplished the animal is under full control of its homo sapien master. The domesticated man is no different, originally organized in groups with a clear hierarchy and maximum size of 150- it was easy to replace the leader of these smaller groups with one overarching figure such as God, King, President, CEO etc.
The methodology for creating this exceptionally loyal and obedient modern breed, homo domesticus, can be described as having seven pillars from which an immense matrix captures the talking simians and their conscious minds and hooks them into a complex mesh from which few ever escape. The system is so advanced that those who do untangle themselves and cut their way out of the net are immediately branded as mentally ill, anti-social, or simply losers who can’t accept the ‘complexity of modern life’, i.e. conspiracy nuts.
Plato described this brilliantly in his Allegory of the Cave, where people only see man made shadows of objects, institutions, Gods and ideas:
“–Behold! human beings living in an underground cave…here they have been from their childhood…necks chained so that they cannot move, and can only see before them. Above and behind them a fire is blazing at a distance…the screen which marionette players have in front of them, over which they show the puppets… and they see only their own shadows, or the shadows of one another, which the fire throws on the opposite wall…”
It began with the word, which forever changed the ability of men to manipulate each other. Before language, every sensation was directly felt through the senses without the filter of words. But somewhere around 50,000 years ago language began to replace reality and the first pieces of code were put in place for the creation of the Matrix. As soon as the words began to flow the world was split, and from that fracturing was born man’s angst and slavery. The words separated us from who we really were, creating the first screen onto which the images from Plato’s cave were cast. Gurdjieff said it well, “Identifying is the chief obstacle to self-remembering. A man who identifies with anything is unable to remember himself.”
It’s no accident that in Hesiod’s ages of man the Golden Age knew no agriculture, which appeared in the Silver age, and by the time we reach the Bronze age the dominant theme is toil and strife. The two key elements to the enslavement of man were clearly language and agriculture. In the hunter gatherer society, taking out the boss was no more complicated than landing a well placed fastball to the head. Only since the advent of farming was the possibility of creating full time enforcers and propagandists made possible, and hence enslavement inevitable.
The search for enlightenment rarely if ever bears fruits in those temples of words, our schools and universities. Almost all traditions point to isolation and silence as the only paths to awakening; they are the true antidotes to modern slavery. As Aristotle wrote, “Whosoever is delighted in solitude is either a wild beast or a god.”
So from the institution from which we are mercilessly bombarded with words and enslaved to time, we begin our descent through the seven layers of the Matrix.
There are things we are born able to do like eating, laughing and crying and others we pick up without much of an effort such as walking, speaking and fighting, but without strict institutional education there is no way that we can ever become a functioning member of the Matrix. We must be indoctrinated, sent to Matrix boot camp, which of course is school. How else could you take a hunter and turn him into a corporate slave, submissive to clocks, countless bosses, monotony and uniformity?
Children naturally know who they are, they have no existential angst, but schools immediately begin driving home the point of schedules, rules, lists and grades which inevitably lead the students to the concept of who they aren’t. We drill the little ones until they learn to count money, tell time, measure progress, stand in line, keep silent and endure submission. They learn they aren’t free and they are separated from everyone else and the world itself by a myriad of divides, names and languages.
It can’t be stressed enough how much education is simply inculcating people with the clock and the idea of a forced identity. What child when she first goes to school isn’t taken back to hear herself referred to by her full name?
It’s not as if language itself isn’t sufficiently abstract- nothing must be left without a category. Suzy can’t just be Suzy- she is a citizen of a country and a state, a member of a religion and a product of a civilization, many of which have flags, mascots, armies, uniforms, currencies and languages. Once all the mascots, tag lines and corporate creeds are learned, then history can begin to be taught. The great epic myths invented and conveniently woven into the archetypes which have come down through the ages cement this matrix into the child’s mind.
Even the language that she speaks without effort must be deconstructed for her. An apple will never again be just an apple- it will become a noun, a subject, or an object. Nothing will be left untouched, all must be ripped apart and explained back to the child in Matrixese.
We are taught almost nothing useful during the twelve or so years that we are institutionalized and conditioned for slavery- not how to cook, farm, hunt, build, gather, laugh or play. We are only taught how to live by a clock and conform to institutionalized behaviors that make for solid careers as slaveocrats.
In the countries that claim to be democratic the concept of a government created to serve the people is often espoused. Government, and the laws they create and enforce are institutionalized social control for the benefit of those who have seized power. This has always been the case and always will be. In the pre-democratic era it was much clearer to recognize who had power, but the genius of massive democratic states are the layers upon layers of corporatocracy and special interests which so brilliantly conceal the identify of those who really manage the massive apparatus of control.
The functions of the state are so well esconded in dogmatic versions of history taught in schools that almost no one questions why we need anything beyond the bare essentials of government to maintain order in the post-industrial age. The history classes never point the finger at the governments themselves as the propagators and instigators of war, genocide, starvation and corruption. In Hollywood’s version of history, the one most people absorb, ‘good’ governments are always portrayed as fighting ‘bad’ ones. We have yet to see a film where all the people on both sides simply disengage from their governments and ignore the calls to violence.
The state apparatus is based on law, which is a contract between the people and an organism created to administer common necessities- an exchange of sovereignty between the people and the state. This sounds reasonable, but when one looks at the mass slaughters of the 20th century, almost without exception, the perpetrators are the states themselves.
The loss of human freedom is the only birthright offered to the citizens of the modern nation. There is never a choice. It is spun as a freedom and a privilege when it is in fact indentured servitude to the state apparatus and the corporatocracy that controls it.
Patriotism is pure abstraction, a completely artificial mechanism of social control. People are taught to value their compatriots above and beyond those of their own ethnic background, race or religion. The organic bonds are to be shed in favor of the great corporate state. From infancy children are indoctrinated like Pavlov’s dogs to worship the paraphernalia of the state and see it as a mystical demigod.
What is a country? Using the United States as example, what actually is this entity? Is it the USPS, the FDA, or the CIA? Does loving one’s country mean one should love the IRS and the NSA? Should we feel differently about someone if they are from Vancouver instead of Seattle? Loving a state is the same as loving a corporation, except with the corporations there is still no stigma attached to not showing overt sentimental devotion to their brands and fortunately, at least for the moment, we are not obligated at birth to pay them for a lifetime of services, most of which we neither need nor want.
Flags, the Hollywood version of history and presidential worship are drilled into us to maintain the illusion of the ‘other’ and force the ‘foreigner/terrorist/extremist’ to wear the stigma of our projections. The archaic tribal energy that united small bands and helped them to fend off wild beasts and hungry hoards has been converted into a magic wand for the masters of the matrix. Flags are waved, and we respond like hungry Labradors jumping at a juicy prime rib swinging before our noses. Sentimental statist propaganda is simply the mouthguard used to soften the jolt of our collective electroshock therapy.
As powerful as the patriotic sects are, there has always been a need for something higher. Religion comes from the Latin ‘re-ligare’ and it means to reconnect. But reconnect to what? The question before all religions is, what have we been disconnected from? The indoctrination and alienation of becoming a card carrying slave has a cost; the level of abstraction and the disconnect from any semblance of humanity converts people into nihilistic robots. No amount of patriotic fervor can replace having a soul. The flags and history lessons can only give a momentary reprieve to the emptiness of the Matrix and that’s why the priests are needed.
The original spiritual connection man had with the universe began to dissolve into duality with the onset of language, and by the time cities and standing armies arrived he was in need of a reconnection, and thus we get our faith based religions. Faith in the religious experiences of sages, or as William James put it, faith in someone else’s ability to connect. Of course the liturgies of our mainstream religions offer some solace and connection, but in general they simply provide the glue for the Matrix. A brief perusal of the news will clearly show that their ‘God’ seems most comfortable amidst the killing fields.
If we focus on the Abrahamic religions, we have a god much like the state, one who needs to be loved. He is also jealous of the other supposedly non-existent gods and is as sociopathic as the governments who adore him. He wipes out his enemies with floods and angels of death just as the governments who pander to him annihilate us with cultural revolutions, atom bombs, television and napalm. Their anthem is, “Love your country, it’s flag, its history, and the God who created it all”- an ethos force fed to each new generation.
The sad thing about circus is that it’s generally not even entertaining. The slaves are told it’s time for some fun and they move in hordes to fill stadiums, clubs, cinemas or simply to stare into their electrical devices believing that they are are being entertained by vulgar propaganda.
As long as homo domesticus goes into the appropriate corral, jumps when she is told to and agrees wholeheartedly that she is having fun, than she is a good slave worthy of her two days off a week and fifteen days vacation at the designated farm where she is milked of any excess gold she might have accumulated during the year. Once she is too old to work and put to pasture, holes are strategically placed in her vicinity so she and her husband can spend their last few dollars trying to get a small white ball into them.
On a daily basis, after the caffeinated maximum effort has been squeezed out of her, she is placed in front of a screen, given the Matrix approved beverage (alcohol), and re-indoctrinated for several hours before starting the whole cycle over again. God forbid anyone ever took a hallucinogen and had an original thought. We are, thankfully, protected from any substances that might actually wake us up and are encouraged stick to the booze. The matrix loves coffee in the morning, alcohol in the evening and never an authentic thought in between.
On a more primal level we are entranced with the contours of the perfect body and dream of ‘perfect love’, where our days will be filled with soft caresses, sweet words and Hollywood drama. This is maybe the most sublime of the Matrix’s snares, as Venus’s charms can be so convincing one willingly abandons all for her devious promise. Romantic love is dangled like bait, selling us down the path of sentimentally coated lies and mindless consumerism.
Money is their most brilliant accomplishment. Billions of people spend most of their waking lives either acquiring it or spending it without ever understanding what it actually is. In this hologram of a world, the only thing one can do without money is breath. For almost every other human activity they want currency, from eating and drinking to clothing oneself and finding a partner. Religion came from innate spirituality and patriotism from the tribe, but money they invented themselves- the most fantastic and effective of all their tools of domestication.
They have convinced the slaves that money actually has some intrinsic value, since at some point in the past it actually did. Once they were finally able to disconnect money completely from anything other than their computers, they finally took complete control, locked the last gate and electrified all the fences. They ingeniously print it up out of the nothing and loan it with interest in order for 18-year-olds to spend four years drinking and memorizing propaganda as they begin a financial indebtedness that will most likely never end.
By the time the typical American is thirty the debt is mounted so high that they abandon any hope of ever being free of it and embrace their mortgages, credit cards, student loans and car loans as gifts from a sugar daddy. What they rarely asks themselves is why they must work to make money while banks can simply create it with a few key strokes. If they printed out notes on their HP’s and loaned them with interest to their neighbors, they would wind up in a penitentiary, but not our friends on Wall Street- they do just that and wind up pulling the strings in the White House. The genius of the money scam is how obvious it is. When people are told that banks create money out of nothing and are paid interest for it the good folks are left incredulous. “It can’t be that simple!” And therein lies the rub- no one wants to believe that they have been enslaved so easily .
“Culture is the effort to hold back the mystery, and replace it with a mythology.”
– Terence McKenna
As Terence loved to say, “Culture is not your friend.” It exists as a buffer to authentic experience. As they created larger and larger communities, they replaced the direct spiritual experience of the shaman with priestly religion. Drum beats and sweat were exchanged for digitized, corporatized noise. Local tales got replaced by Hollywood blockbusters, critical thinking with academic dogma.
If money is the shackles of the matrix, culture is its operating system. Filtered, centralized, incredibly manipulative, it glues all their myths together into one massive narrative of social control from which only the bravest of souls ever try to escape. It’s relatively simple to see the manipulation when one looks at patriotism, religion or money. But when taken as a whole, our culture seems as natural and timeless as the air we breathe, so intertwined with our self conception it is often hard to see where we individually finish and our culture begins.
Escaping the Grip of Control
Some might ask why this all-pervasive network of control isn’t talked about or discussed by our ‘great minds’. Pre-Socratic scholar Peter Kingsley explains it well:
“Everything becomes clear once we accept the fact that scholarship as a whole is not concerned with finding, or even looking for, the truth. That’s just a decorative appearance. It’s simply concerned with protecting us from truths that might endanger our security; and it does so by perpetuating our collective illusions on a much deeper level than individual scholars are aware of.”
Whoever discovered water, it certainly wasn’t a fish. To leave the ‘water’, or Plato’s cave takes courage and the knowledge that there is something beyond the web of control. Over 2,300 hundred years ago Plato described the process of leaving the Matrix in the Allegory of the Cave as a slow, excruciating process akin to walking out onto a sunny beach after spending years in a basement watching Kabuki.
How can this awakening be explained? How do you describe the feeling of swimming in the ocean at dusk to someone who as never even seen water? You can’t, but what you can do is crack open a window for them and if enough windows are opened, the illusion begins to lose its luster.

Breaking the habit of being yourself requires – dare I say it? – discipline. Daily discipline. And once you embark on it, it’s the most wonderful process in the making. It is exciting and fun, and it becomes easier and easier with every time you practice, just like training a muscle. You do indeed create your life! You’re in the driver’s seat, entirely. And if that’s not great news, I do not know what is! You absolutely have the power to change your life in any way you desire. You create your life every day, with volition or without, on a nerve cell/brain structure and thought/quantum level.
So why not actively create your life, instead of mostly running in automatic-reactive-survival mode? Why wait to change your life until crisis hits? A crisis can be a great catalyst – yet we’re free to choose change now. So why not create out of joy instead? We all can. And lasting change is not only possible, it is fun to set in motion. The following article shares ideas from a fabulous book by Dr. Joe Dispenza (see review below).
Interacting with the quantum field
Nobody is doomed by their genetic makeup or hard wired to live a specific way for the rest of their lives. YOU mold the clay that is the quantum field, and you do so by aligning your thoughts, feelings and actions (refer to my website for more information on the quantum field, or ‘the field’ for short).
Says Dr. Joe Dispenza, successful chiropractor with postgraduate training and continuing education in neuroscience, biochemistry, brain function and memory formation:
“You… broadcast a distinct energy pattern or signature. In fact, everything material is always emitting specific patterns of energy. And this energy carries information. Your fluctuating states of mind consciously or unconsciously change that signature on a moment-to-moment basis.“
In essence, we influence the quantum field through our Being-states (and not only through what we want).
Vision and creative mode
A brain region called the frontal lobe plays a key role in envisioning the life you desire. Ask yourself: Who do you I see myself as? How do I show up every day? What would I choose as my predominant Being-state, and how much am I living it on a daily basis? What’s the greatest ideal of myself? Who do I want to be? What would I have to think and feel in order to express that? The clearer you see this, the faster you can change into it. The universal quantum law applies to finances as much as happiness, health and relationships. No exception.
If you can hold a vision regardless of what’s going on around you, you are in creative mode, i.e. you refuse to respond to any triggers in your environment, and you KNOW with 100% certainty that your vision must come, as it already happened in the quantum field.
This is exactly what we admire in great leaders: Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, Mother Teresa, etc. Their vision made a difference. They refused to give in to circumstance, did not blame their spouse nor the weather – they did not suffer from ‘excusitis’. Holding a vision is a means to achieving a Being-state which transcends circumstance.
Mechanics of change and the art of ‘becoming familiar with’
Repetition is the mother of all skill – and it is what wires brain cells together to create new neurological pathways. Contrary to the paradigm I grew up in which said that brain cells cannot regenerate nor change, we know today that this is completely false. The brain is highly adaptive (neuroplasticity), and changes occur all the time. The moment you learn something new, your brain makes new connections. A long standing habit can be seen as a broad, very well trodden path, a super-highway where neurons fire when a habitual thought or behaviour triggers them. A new thought or behaviour (i.e. nerve cell circuit) becomes established through use.
The more you practice a new thought or behaviour, the better you get at it, just like training a muscle. Paying attention to where you want to go is key. Become aware of how automated (in terms of thoughts, feelings, and actions) your life really is. Keep what you like, and change the rest. Not all automated brain circuits are negative. Some of them are exactly what you want. Others are not. By withdrawing your attention (i.e. quitting to walk the established path) and thinking about how you would rather be (breaking into new territory and establishing a new path), you dissolve those old highways, bit by bit (they disconnect when focus is withdrawn). Self-love is when you respond differently to what you’ve practiced all your life.
In order to truly change, we must think greater than we feel. Remember your vision. If you have none for your life, develop one! Now. Not tomorrow… and it’s not about painting some grand picture of your life straight away (but feel free if this feels good to you now).
Instead, you can pick out single aspects and start with those. Know what you want, and then assume the corresponding Being-state. This is completely scaleable, i.e. you can expand your vision as you go. But start having one! Having no vision is like going to the airport saying: ‘I want a ticket’, or saying to a waiter: ‘I want food’. You’re going nowhere fast and nothing can come to you if you don’t specify what you would like, and expect it to come. Vagueness equals standstill. In other words, in the context of creating, it’s a no-no, and you must know your target.
If you truly can do this (thinking greater than you feel), you have mastered your life. That’s how big this short sentence really is. To envision means to see something into existence. It means to create something with volition and expecting to see it, without having any idea of the ‘how’. That step is up to the field and not your job. Your job is to hold the vision and feel its fulfilment. Your job is to become familiar with the feeling-states of your desires.
See it and rehearse it over and over, daily. This process rewires your brain (creating new and wanted super-highways, replacing the automatic old ones). By the way: the Buddhist definition of meditation is ‘to become familiar with’. Meditate on desired feeling states. Familiarize yourself to the n-th degree with them. Live as if. Until it is second nature. Or first. =)
Why we get stuck in repetitive patterns and how to overcome them
Mind is what the brain does. Psychologists tell us that c. 95% of our mind is subconscious. Yet it runs us, 24/7, 365. And that’s good! Because if we had to do it all consciously, good luck surviving even a single second, trying to orchestrate our some 50 trillion cells that constitute the body. Not to mention regulating heart beat, digestion, detox, breathing… our innate intelligence takes care of it all and frees us up to create consciously. A marvellous set-up.
Some unconscious patterns do not serve us. So how do we change them for good? This is the essence of the process Dr. Dispenza proposes, detailed further in his book (see below):
First step: make them known.
Second step: undo them and replace them with what you prefer.
Third step: practice the new state.
We have many unconscious patterns that we did not choose ourselves, i.e. they arose from our environment (parents, peers, culture, etc) at a young age and were accepted as true. If unchanged, they still operate. That is how people become stuck in repetitive patterns without knowing why.
Experiences and events in life produce emotions, which eventually dictate how we behave, unless we intervene. When you think negatively, you feel bad. Feeling bad gives rise to more negative thoughts, which result in feeling worse…do you see the cycle? Most of us are trapped in it, without ever questioning it, living a very reactive life with little room for creating the life we truly desire. Most people do not know how to do this, and that it’s even possible. And it is.
Our brain cannot distinguish between something we imagine, and something that is really happening. As far as the brain is concerned, it’s one and the same. So there’s little physiological difference between remembering a negative situation and actively being involved in one. In other words: every time you beat the drum of how bad it is (in response to an observation or a memory), you activate and reinforce those thought and feeling patterns. Eventually, they become automatic, and we forget why we emotionally react as we do – we just react. The perfect stuck state. And it leads to an identity we think is us. But is it? Of course not. A question worth exploring is: What have I memorized emotionally that I live by that I think is me?
In this automated state, the body becomes the mind: it knows exactly how to respond to a situation and just does it. A good example is driving a car. When you first learned it, you concentrated a great deal (making new neural pathways). And before too long, you habitually arrive at work, with the car seemingly driving by itself. Your body knows very well what to do. And yes, you take in traffic, etc. and respond accordingly. But it’s all well practiced and smooth, and you don’t think about it. When the body becomes the mind, we live in reactive, unaware mode. This is good for some situations, and not so good for others.
The power that you have is one of focus. You can change from a reactive state to a creative one by disconnecting the dots that produce a specific reaction. You do so by focusing on what you prefer instead. When thought becomes the experience, you’re there. When your vision is so compelling and so real you forget everything else, and it feels as if five minutes elapsed instead of three hours, then you’re a creative powerhouse.
We all have been in those situations. Whether it’s playing music, reading a great book, participating in an engrossing conversation – time just flew and we could have done it all day. Harness those situations by tagging them with a little intention for your life. The feeling state is perfect – add some directive thought and watch what happens. Mind and body must be aligned, i.e. thoughts and feelings must be congruent to effect real change.
To sum it up: what you think and feel today determines how you live tomorrow. Your thoughts and feelings are that important and potent. So why wait learning how to think and feel right? Learn how to dance with your thoughts. It’s fun!
I invite you to experiment with influencing the quantum field to your liking. Have FUN! And let me know your outcomes.
If you’re interested in learning more on this topic, I highly recommend Breaking the habit of being yourself – how to lose your mind and create a new one, by Dr. Joe Dispenza, a successful chiropractor with postgraduate training and continuing education in neurology, neuroscience, biochemistry, brain function and memory formation, cellular biology, and aging and longevity.
This has got to be one of the best chosen book titles I ever came across. The book is a total gem for those interested in growth and real change in any area of their life, including health and wellbeing. It’s an awesome manual to yourself, in fact. Dr. Dispenza intuitively used the process later outlined in ‘Breaking the habit of being yourself’ to heal himself when medical doctors said not undergoing surgery was a highly regrettable mistake, and today he travels around the globe teaching people his views on brain function and how they can be practically applied in daily life to effect true change.
‘Breaking the habit’ is an actual manual for change. It goes beyond giving information and actually tells you HOW to apply it. It is very well written in that it makes you want to turn the pages, eagerly awaiting the mechanism Dr. Joe Dispenza proposes to help you actively create your life, instead of running on automatic-reactive-survival mode. If this resonates with you, gift yourself this book - and APPLY it! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do or more.
You can purchase the book on Amazon or Trademe. And for those who prefer it in a nutshell, or who would like a preview/synopsis of this book, you can listen to Dr. Joe delivering a lecture based on its ideas. Happy listening! (50min audio).

Our friends seem to be genetically more similar to us than strangers, according to a new U.S. scientific study led by prominent Greek-American professor of sociology and medicine at Yale University Nicholas Christakis and James Fowler, professor of medical genetics and political science at the University of California.
The researchers, who made the relevant publication in the Journal of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), analyzed the genome of 1,932 people and compared pairs of friends with pairs of strangers. There was no biological affinity among all these people, but only the difference in the level of social relations between them.
The study showed that, on average, every person had a more similar DNA with his friends than with strangers. The researchers noted that this finding has to do with the tendency of people to make friends with similar racial (and hence genetic) background. The genetic similarity between friends was greater than the expected similarity between people who share a common national and genetic inheritance. It is not clear yet by what mechanisms this occurs.
But how similar are we with our friends? On average, according to the study, a friend of ours has a genetic affinity comparable to our fourth cousin, which means that we share about 1% of our genes our friends. “1% does not sound a big deal, but it is for geneticists. It is noteworthy that most people do not even know who their fourth cousins are, but somehow, from the countless possible cases, we choose to make friends with people who are genetically similar to us,” said Prof Christakis.
Christakis and Fowler even developed a “friendship score”, which predicts who will befriend whom with nearly the same accuracy as scientists predict, on the basis of genetic analysis, the chances of a person to obesity or schizophrenia.
Focusing on individual genes, the research shows that friends are more likely to have similar genes related to the sense of smell, but different genes that control immunity; thus friends vary genetically in their protection against various diseases. It seems to be an evolutionary mechanism that serves the society in general, since the fact that people hang out with those who are vulnerable to different diseases constitutes a barrier to the quick spread of an epidemic from person to person.
Another notable finding is that the common genes we share with our friends seem to evolve more rapidly than others. Prof Christakis explains that probably that is why human evolution seems to have accelerated over the past 30,000 years, as the social environment with an important role of linguistic communication is a vital evolutionary factor.
Furthermore, according to the Greek-American scientist, “new research reinforces the notion that humans are “transgenic” beings, not only because of the bacteria that live on/in/around us, but because of the people who surround us. It seems that our capacity depends not only on our genetic composition, but also on the genetic composition of our friends.”

How do you feeling complete and connected to the Earth and others? It takes effort, but it is worth it. We must bring our focus outside of ourselves to allow us to reach out to people and to the world around us in positive ways. Loving, laughing, giving ourselves to others, spending time with friends and those in need to taking care of the environment or a companion animal, all promote positive interaction. Here are 10 steps to help you get connected.
1. Nature and Earth
If you think of nature as a hostile force that is separate from yourself, you will go through life unnecessarily afraid and cut off from one of the great sources of spiritual nourishment. Whether you connect with nature on wilderness trips or lunch breaks in a city park, you can always slow down and observe the infinite variety of her ways. One way to connect with nature is through plants: gardening, collecting plants from the wild, growing cactuses and flowering bulbs, and having unusual and useful plants in and around the home can all help promote connectedness with nature. Plants can enrich your daily life, bring comfort and joy, and remind you that however you think of yourself, you are also part of the natural world.
Research shows that people who have pets have less illness than people who do not. Pet owners also recover faster from serious illness and tend to be happier. Ex-prisoners who form relationships with pets have lower recidivism rates than those who do not. While pets can and inevitably will bring owners great joy, they are a responsibility: they demand a certain level of attention and care. However, the rewards that pets give in return are often too great to be measured. Loving and caring for a pet is a great way to learn how to love and care for other humans and nature.
3. Family and Relationships
We are not meant to be alone – we are meant to be parts of bigger families, bands, and tribes. Human beings want and need the intimate support of a real family. Unfortunately, the nuclear family of our modern society is contracted. It is hard not to look at the “extended families” of some cultures with wistful longing, if not outright envy. Where I live, in southern Arizona, the Hispanic population seems way ahead of the rest of us in providing for the needs of family. In many Hispanic families the old people, even when infirm, continue to be valued members and live at home. Don’t settle for nuclear family contraction. Extend!
Community is the sense of living and working together for common goals. We are naturally communal beings and derive great satisfaction from the experience of belonging to a group with a common purpose. The strength and comfort of community come from the principle that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Our society often fails to provide for this need, and unless we work to create community, it does not happen, or does so in unhealthy ways. You can define community any way you want. It may be your neighborhood, your sports team, your environmental action group, your church, your social club. What makes it work is what you bring to it and the role you let it play in your life. This kind of connectedness gives us the power to improve our lives and make the world a better place.
By allowing it means we don’t take control of the decisions of others, especially if they disagree with our own sensibilities. Absolute connection and freedom means freedom for all. It means giving up controlling ourselves and controlling others. When we think with a mind that is not free, when we are worried about what others will think or say about us, we try to control situations and people to prevent ourselves from being hurt. We enter a defensive mode for self preservation. We can never fully connect with others and the planet until we know peace and joy through allowing.
Selfless service means giving of yourself to help others with no thought of return. Many religious traditions extol the ideal of selfless service as one of the great aids to dismantling the ego cage and restructuring personality. Each day provides countless opportunities to practice putting others’ interests ahead of your own, such as giving of your time, energy and presence to reduce the suffering or increase the happiness of others. The goal is not to acquire spiritual merit, increase your chances of going to heaven, or earn the admiration of the community. Instead, service is a way of acknowledging that we are all one and that the happiness of each is connected to the happiness of all. The more you can experience the interconnectedness of all beings, the healthier you will be.
To love is to experience connection in its highest, purest form. Humans tend to confuse loving with other feelings that take us back into the world of separateness and fragmentation. Popular songs today seem to be mostly about the joys and pains of romantic love, not about loving as connection, which is something altogether different. Learning to love takes practice and time, especially in a culture that is focused so intensely on romantic love. In intimate relationships that work, the in-love state is replaced by mutual loving. That can happen only if both partners are mature and committed to a life together. Many people today have no idea what to do when they fall out of love with their partners; they think it means there is no possibility of continuing the relationship, which is why divorce rates are now so high. Realizing that you have within you a limitless source of love that can benefit everyone and everything will help you form the best and strongest connections of your life.
It’s no secret that laughter is good for you and, even when indulged in liberally, is gloriously free of side effects. Laughter is a simple stress reducer, a kind of natural Valium, but is also allows us to connect to other people in such unique ways, that it cannot be duplicated through any other method. Laughter helps people cope with the surprises of life. Humor is good for the body and so good for relationships. Those who laugh daily decrease tension, depression and anger.
Human beings need to touch and be touched. A great deal of animal and human research shows that individuals deprived of physical contact are insecure, poorly adjusted, and more prone to illness. Some cross-cultural research suggests that sexually repressed and touch-deprived societies are much more given to violence. Our own society, unfortunately, is in that category. Touching is an easy connection to make because it feels so good. Please do more of it.
10. Higher Powers
One reason the 12-step programs work as treatments for addiction is that they encourage connection to a power greater than yourself. It does not matter much how you conceive of that higher power; what matters is the sense of connection to it. You are free to choose the way you conceive of the universe and your place in it. People who experience themselves as part of and supported by something larger than themselves are less fearful and more healthy than people who view the world through the bars of an ego cage, seeing the world as separate from themselves, and as being disconnected.

“In modern physics, there is no such thing as “nothing.” Even in a perfect vacuum, pairs of virtual particles are constantly being created and destroyed. The existence of these particles is no mathematical fiction. Though they cannot be directly observed, the effects they create are quite real. The assumption that they exist leads to predictions that have been confirmed by experiment to a high degree of accuracy.” ~ Richard Morris
I’ll admit. I’m curious about the God Particle. There’s that catchy subtitle: If God is the Answer, Then What is the Question? Ever since reading the book, I became intrigued with the subatomic particle called the Higgs Boson. Dr. Peter Higgs, the 84-year old man who the particle was named after describes it as such, adding a chuckle to his explanation in a radio interview:
“…these particles are just packages of energy of some kind of field, and the feature [that] distinguishes this kind of theory, which leads to this kind of symmetry breaking, is the existence of what we, theoretical physicists, call the vacuum, which means nowadays something different than what it used to mean. It’s just the lowest energy state that you could possibly have in which there are no particles around but there maybe something around. And that something around can be a background field of some sort, which pervades the universe.”
Essentially Higgs suggests that the background field interacts with all the other ‘stuff’ of the Universe, generating elementary particles and things that have mass. The background field is comprised of the ‘Higgs Boson.’
As some have inquired, if this field exists everywhere and interacts with matter to give it mass, then why do we need a high energy collision to produce a Higgs Boson? And if it decays to other particles, how can it be the preeminent building block of all things? How can it be the God-particle at all? If the Higgs field, comprised of decaying particles, is truly the background upon which many particles interact, how can it be the omnipresent, origin of the Universe?
The documentary film Particle Fever explains the technology which helped lead to this ‘discovery’ of the God particle. The Hadron collider is possibly the biggest machine ever built. It is based at the CERN, a particle physics laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland. (It also happened to cost $300 billion to construct). Some say the collider recreates conditions within a billionth of a second after the Big Bang. It basically smashes two things together and then scientists try to figure out what to make of the remains. 100,000 computers are required to analyze the data that comes from this smashing of particles.
Granted, there are disparate reasons to play with God’s creation. Some are looking for the origins of the Universe; others are looking for ways to blow us to smithereens in advanced nuclear warfare. ‘God’s’ power is not to be taken lightly.
Some had made their minds up about the Higgs Boson, giving it the unquestioning attention that such a name infers, but there are minds who looked at a set of questions about the ‘God particle’ from a totally different perspective. One of them is Nassim Haramein.
Haramein is a Geneva, Switzerland-born physicist who developed the basis for a unified hyperdimensional theory of matter and energy which he calls the ‘Holofractographic Universe.” A true phenom, at 9 years of age he started questioning space and time, as well as the science that suggested the origins of all things. Since then he has studied the fundamental geometry of hyperspace, theoretical physics, cosmology, quantum mechanics, biology, chemistry, anthropology and ancient civilizations.
Haramein wasn’t satisfied with mainstream science, as he calls it, especially mainstream physics. There were too many obvious questions that his peers left unanswered. It was Haramein who, in 1997, at an interdisciplinary scientific conference called the Sequoia Symposium suggested black holes should be redefined as white holes/black holes considering there was a concentric interaction between the two. To further this claim, a recent quote given by Stephen Hawking from an article at the Resonance Project Foundation states that a redefinition of black holes is fitting. He said they should be called grey holes since information (both matter and energy) can go in, and come out as well.
Haramein argues that based on the current perspective which limits god to a ‘particle’ we are missing something. He reminds us that first we thought cells were the smallest thing, then the atom, then the electron, then quarks, then the X-boson, and so on – disbelieving there could be anything smaller. What becomes obvious to some is that physicists are merely dividing space – and there is much more space in the Universe than matter. Haramein says we can keep dividing until we are blue in the face – spending trillions more on colliders that can handle even smaller particles, but it would be a total waste of time.
It goes the other direction as well. We once thought our planet was the biggest thing around, then we realized we were part of a solar system, then a singular Universe, and so on. Now we know, just like Russian dolls, a Universe can be imbedded in a larger nested, and so on, to infinity. He suggests looking instead, at a fundamental pattern for creation, instead of a fundamental particle.
Once again divine geometry comes into play. The way space is divided, is how he came up with the ‘God pattern’ or the foundation of creation. Many different religious and esoteric traditions have suggested that geometry was the secret to all creation. Even the merkaba, or energetic field of the human form follows divine geometry.
Both Tibetan Buddhist and Hindu mandalas are an artistic interpretation of this same God pattern. The word mandala itself is derived from the root manda, which means essence. The art is simply a container of ‘the essence’ of this fundamental pattern. Those who construct mandalas believe they have no dimension, though they are created in either three- dimensional or two- dimensional space.
Even artists from recent history understood divine geometry. Leonardo Da Vinci was well versed in the phenomenon as evidenced in both his commentary and work. He studied the ‘flower of life’ extensively. The Mayans were aware of this divine archeological rhythm as well. It shows up in temples in Chichen Itza, and other sacred places.
In more ancient history, the Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt contains the oldest ‘Seed of Life’ to date. It is formed from seven circles in six-fold symmetry. It is unknown why the symbol was carved into granite, but some suggest it represents the ‘Eye of Ra,’ a pharaohic and religious authority of the time.
This flower of life and seed of life pattern appear all over the world. They were considered a part of the alchemists’ secrets, and the Metatron’s cube is based upon it.
The Jains and the Vedics understood this pattern, as evidenced by the work of Bharati Krsna Tirthaji, for example, and so did the Kabalists, discussed extensively in the Sefer Yetzirah, in which it references “the cube of space.”
If so many ancient cultures understood the God pattern, then why is Haramein butting heads with mainstream physicists still? Even the Illuminati are said to have worshipped divine geometry. It shows up in crop-circles, too. Is this because ancient alien races knew of this ‘secret’ as well, and the less noble of them wanted to prevent human beings from knowing their connection to this ever-lasting pattern – that they were born of the ‘egg of life’ too? It seems modern scientists have been barking up the wrong tree, and the ‘secret’ of creation has been under our noses all along.

Be it drugs, alcohol, porn, overeating or whatever your personal addiction, put an abuser in a playground and see what happens.
You’ve probably heard about those addiction studies with caged lab rats, in which the rats compulsively press the heroin dispensing lever again and again, even to the point of choosing it over food and starving themselves to death. These studies seemed to imply some pretty disheartening things about human nature. Our basic biology is not to be trusted; the seeking of pleasure leads to disaster; one must therefore overcome biological desires through reason, education, and the inculcation of morals; those whose willpower or morals are weak must be controlled and corrected.
The rat addiction studies also seem to validate the main features of the War on Drugs. First is interdiction: prevent the rats from getting a taste of drugs to begin with. Second is “education” – conditioning the rats into not pressing the lever in the first place. Third is punishment: make the consequences of taking drugs so scary and unpleasant that the rats will overcome their desire to press the lever. You see, some rats just have a stronger moral fiber than others. For those with a strong moral fiber, education suffices. The weak ones need to be deterred with punishments.
All of these features of the drug war are forms of control, and therefore sit comfortably within the broader narrative of technological civilization: the domination of nature, the rising above the primitive state, conquering animal desire with the mind and the base impulses with morality, and so forth. That is, perhaps, why Bruce Alexander’s devastating challenge to the caged rat experiments was ignored and suppressed for so many years. It wasn’t only the drug war that his studies called into question, but also deeper paradigms about human nature and our relationship to the world.
Alexander found that when you take rats out of tiny separate cages and put them in a spacious “rat park” with ample exercise, food, and social interaction, they no longer choose drugs; indeed, already-addicted rats will wean themselves off drugs after they are transferred from cages to the rat park.
The implication is that drug addiction is not a moral failing or physiological malfunction, but an adaptive response to circumstances. It would be the height of cruelty to put rats in cages and then, when they start using drugs, to punish them for it. That would be like suppressing the symptoms of a disease while maintaining the necessary conditions for the disease itself. Alexander’s studies, if not a contributing factor in the drug war’s slow unraveling, are certainly aligned with it in metaphor.
Are we like rats in cages? Are we putting human beings into intolerable conditions and then punishing them for their efforts to alleviate the anguish? If so, then the War on Drugs is based on false premises and can never succeed. And if we are like caged rats, then what is the nature of these cages, and what would a society look like that was a “rat park” for human beings?
Here are some ways to put a human being in a cage:
--Remove as much as possible all opportunities for meaningful self-expression and service. Instead, coerce people into dead-end labor just to pay the bills and service the debts. Seduce others into living off such labor of others.
--Cut people off from nature and from place. At most let nature be a spectacle or venue for recreation, but remove any real intimacy with the land. Source food and medicine from thousands of miles away.
--Move life – especially children’s lives – indoors. Let as many sounds as possible be manufactured sounds, and as many sights be virtual sights.
--Destroy community bonds by casting people into a society of strangers, in which you don’t rely on and needn’t even know by name the people living around you.
--Create constant survival anxiety by making survival depend on money, and then making money artificially scarce. Administer a money system in which there is always more debt than there is money.
--Divide the world up into property, and confine people to spaces that they own or pay to occupy.
--Replace the infinite variety of the natural and artisanal world, where every object is unique, with the sameness of commodity goods.
--Reduce the intimate realm of social interaction to the nuclear family and put that family in a box. Destroy the tribe, the village, the clan, and the extended family as a functioning social unit.
--Make children stay indoors in age-segregated classrooms in a competitive environment where they are conditioned to perform tasks that they don’t really care about or want to do, for the sake of external rewards.
--Destroy the local stories and relationships that build identity, and replace them with celebrity news, sports team identification, brand identification, and world views imposed by authority.
--Delegitimize or illegalize folk knowledge of how to heal and care for one another, and replace it with the paradigm of the “patient” dependent on medical authorities for health.
It is no wonder that people in our society compulsively press the lever, be it the drug lever or the consumerism lever or the pornography lever or the gambling lever or the overeating lever. We respond with a million palliatives to circumstances in which real human needs for intimacy, connection, community, beauty, fulfillment, and meaning go mostly unmet. Granted, these cages depend in large part on our own individual acquiescence, but this doesn’t mean that a single moment of illumination or a lifetime of effort can liberate us fully. The habits of confinement are deeply programmed. Nor can we escape by destroying our jailers: unlike in the rat experiments, and contrary to conspiracy theories, our elites are just as much prisoner as the rest of us. Empty and addictive compensations for their unmet needs seduce them into doing their part to maintain the status quo.
The cages suffer no easy escape. Confinement is not incidental to modern society, but woven deeply into its systems, its ideologies, and our own selves. At bottom are the deep narratives of separation, domination, and control. And now, as we approach a great turning, a shift in consciousness, we sense that these narratives are unraveling, even as their outward expressions – the surveillance state, the walls and the fences, the ecological devastation – reach unprecedented extremes. Yet their ideological core is beginning to hollow out; their foundation is cracking. I think that the lifting (still by no means assured) of the War on Drugs is an early signal that these superstructures are beginning to crack too.
A cynic might say that the end of the drug war would signal no such thing: that drugs make life in a cage more tolerable and absorb energy that might otherwise go toward social change. The opiate of the masses, in other words, is opiates! The cynic dismisses cannabis legalization in particular as a small, barely significant counter-eddy in an onrushing tide of imperialism and ecocide, an innocuous victory that does nothing to slow the onward march of capitalism.
This view is mistaken. Generally speaking, drugs do not make us into more effective cage-dwellers: better workers and consumers. The most notable exception is caffeine – significantly, virtually unregulated – which helps people wake up to a schedule they don’t want to live and focus on tasks they don’t care about. (I’m not saying that’s all caffeine does, and in no way do I want to demean sacred plants like tea and coffee, which are among the only herbal infusions or decoctions still taken in modern society.) Another partial exception is alcohol, which as a stress reliever indeed makes life in our society more bearable. Certain other drugs – stimulants and opiates – also may serve these functions, but are ultimately so debilitating that the guardians of capitalism recognize them as a threat.
Yet other drugs, such as cannabis and the psychedelics, can directly induce nonconformity, weaken consumer values, and make the prescribed normal life seem less tolerable, not more. Consider for example the kind of behavior associated with marijuana smoking. The stoner is not on time for work. He sits around in the grass playing his guitar. He is not competitive. This is not to say that pot smokers don’t contribute to society; some of the wealthiest Information Age entrepreneurs are reputedly smokers. In general though, the reputation of cannabis and the psychedelics to be disruptive of the established order is not without foundation.
The halting but substantial steps in several states and countries toward cannabis legalization is significant for several reasons beyond the well-known benefits regarding crime, imprisonment, medicine, and industrial hemp. First, it implies a release of the mentality of control: interdiction, punishment, and psychological conditioning. Second, as I just discussed, the object of control – cannabis – is corrosive to the cages we have lived in. Third, it is part of a deep shift in consciousness away from separation and toward compassion.
The mentality of control is predicated on the question of whom or what is to be controlled. Drug War thinking blamed the individual drug user for making poor moral choices, a view grounded in the theory that social psychologists call dispositionism – that human beings make free-willed choices based on a stable character and preferences. While dispositionism acknowledges the influence of environment, it says essentially that people make good choices because they are good people, bad choices because they are bad people. Deterrence, education, and interdiction spring naturally from that philosophy, as does our criminal justice system at large. Judgment and paternalism, inherent in the whole concept of “corrections,” are built into it, because it says, “If I were in your situation, I would have done differently than you.” In other words, it is an assertion of separation: I am different from (and if you are a drug addict, better than) you.
Note as well that the same belief motivates the War on Terror and, well, the war on pretty much anything. But there is a competing philosophy called situationism that says that people make choices from the totality of their situation, internal and external. In other words, if I were in your situation, including your entire life history, I would do as you do. It is a statement of nonseparation, of compassion. It understands, as Bruce Alexander shows us, that self-destructive or antisocial behavior is a response to circumstances and not a dispositional weakness or moral failing. Situationism motivates healing rather than war, because it seeks to understand and redress the circumstances that give rise to terrorism, drug addiction, germs, weeds, greed, evil, or any other symptom we go to war against. Instead of punishing drug use, it asks, From what circumstances does it spring? Instead of eradicating weeds with pesticides, it asks, What conditions of soil or agronomy are causing them to grow? Instead of applying extreme antiseptic hygiene and broad-spectrum antibiotics, it asks, What “climate of the body” has made it a salubrious environment for germs? That is not to say we never should use antibiotics or lock up a violent criminal who is harming others. But we cannot then say, “Problem solved! Evil has been conquered.”
Here we see how drug legalization is consistent with the reversal of a millennia-long paradigm I call the War on Evil. As old as civilization itself, it was originally associated with the conquest of chaos and the taming of the wild. Through history, it came to incinerate whole populations and nearly the planet itself. Now, perhaps, we are entering a gentler era. It is fitting that something from nature, a plant, should be a hinge for such a turning.
The growing movement to end the drug war might reflect a paradigm shift away from judgment, blame, war, and control towards compassion and healing. Cannabis is a natural starting point, because its widespread use makes the caricature of the morally weak abuser insupportable. “If I were in the totality of your circumstances, I would smoke too – in fact I have!”
Marijuana has long been vilified as a “gateway drug,” the argument being that even if it isn’t so dangerous itself, it ushers a person into the culture and habits of drug use. That canard is easily debunked, but perhaps marijuana is a gateway of another sort – a gateway to broader drug decriminalization, and beyond that, toward a compassionate and humble justice system not based on punishment. More broadly still, it may offer us a gateway away from machine values toward organic values, a symbiotic world, an ecological world, and not an arena of separate and competing others against whom one must protect oneself, conquer, and control. Perhaps the conservatives were right. Perhaps drug legalization would mean the end of society as we have known it.

The Properties of Space
Science works best when in harmony with nature. If we put these two together, we can discover great technologies that can only come about when the consciousness of the planet is ready to embrace them. One example is “free energy,” also known as “zero-point energy,” which utilizes the substance that exists all around us and converts it into usable energy. This would give us a limitless source of energy, and would practically wipe out all poverty on the planet. (more on this later in the article)
The properties of space have been postulated by many, from ancient Vedic philosophy, Eastern Mystics, various ancient civilizations throughout human history all the way to Descartes, Einstein, Newton and more. Humans are curious beings, and our quest to discover “what is” will never end.
“And they allowed Apollonius to ask questions; and he asked them of what they thought the cosmos was composed; but they replied; “Of elements.” “Are there then four?” he asked. “Not four,” said Larchas, “but five.” “And how can there be a fifth,” said Apollonius, “alongside of water and air and earth and fire?” “There is the ether,” replied the other, “which we must regard as the stuff of which gods are made; for just as all mortal creatures inhale the wire, so do immortal and divine natures inhale the ether.” “Am I,” said Appollonius, “to regard the universe as a living creature?” “Yes,” said the other. –The Life of Apollonius of Tyana, Philostratus, 220AD (source)
Science now knows that a material universe as the foundation of what we perceive to be our physical material world isn’t quite the case. Today, physicists recognize that physical atoms are actually made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating. At its smallest observable level, matter is energy, and this energy that exists all around us can be tapped into and possibly used to generate power.
Quantum physics has left many scientists baffled, again, the discovery that our physical material reality isn’t really physical at all can be quite confusing. Scientists began to explore the relationship between energy and the structure of matter at the turn of the 19th century, this is approximately the time when the idea of a Newtonian material universe was dropped from the heart of scientific knowing, and replaced by the fact that matter is nothing but an illusion, that everything in the universe is made out of energy.
“If quantum mechanics hasn’t profoundly shocked you, you haven’t understood it yet. Everything we call real is made of things that cannot be regarded as real.” - Niels Bohr, a Danish Physicist
Again, if you observed the composition of an atom with a microscope, you would see a small, invisible tornado like vortex, with a number of infinitely small energy vortices called quarks and photons. These are what make up the structure of the atom. As you focused in closer and closer on the structure of the atom, you would see nothing, you would observe a physical void. The atom has no physical structure, we have no physical structure, physical things really don’t have any physical structure. Atoms are made out of invisible energy, not tangible matter.
“Despite the unrivalled empirical success of quantum theory, the very suggestion that it may be literally true as a description of nature is still greeted with cynicism, incomprehension and even anger.” (T. Folger, “Quantum Shmantum”; Discover 22:37-43, 2001)
“Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual.” - R.C. Henry, Professor of physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University. (source)
Tesla and Ancient Vedic Philosophy and the Properties of Space
We’ve seen a very interesting trend (especially within the past decade) of modern-day science catching up to an ancient understanding about the true nature of reality, its make-up, how it functions and how we can work with it to bring about change on our planet. For anybody to label the merging of ‘spirituality’ and science as pseudoscience means they have not properly investigated it. Spiritual concepts of our ancient world are directly intertwined with modern-day science, more so quantum physics, and Nikola Tesla was well aware of this.
“All perceptible matter comes from a primary substance, or tenuity beyond conception, filling all space, the akasha or luminiferous ether, which is acted upon by the life giving Prana or creative force, calling into existence, in never-ending cycles all things and phenomena.”- Nikola Tesla, Man’s Greatest Achievement, 1907 (1)(2)
As you can see, Tesla was aware of ancient concepts and the correlation it had with the science he was working on -using sanskrit worlds like “akasha,” and “prana” to describe the force and matter that exists all around us. These words come from the Upanishads (a collection of Vedic texts)
“The aakaash is not destructible, it is the primordial absolute substratum that creates cosmic matter and hence the properties of aakaash are not found in the material properties that are in a sense relative. The aakaash is the eternally existent, superfluid reality, for which creation and destruction are inapplicable.” - (Idham thadhakshare parame vyoman. Parame vyoman) – Paramahamsa Tewari, Engineer, Physicist and Inventor. (source)
Nikola Tesla had correlations with Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902), who was one of the most famous and influential spiritual leaders of the philosophies of Vedanta (one of the six schools of Hindu philosophy, the term originally referred to the upanishads, a collection of philosophical texts in Hinduism) and Yoga. He was the chief disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and the founder of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. He is a giant figure in the history of the hindu reform movements.
Vivekananda wrote a later to Tesla in the late 1800′s stating:
“Mr. Tesla thinks he can demonstrate mathematically that force and matter are reducible to potential energy. I am to go and see him next week to get this new mathematical demonstration. In that case the Vedantic cosmology will be placed on the surest of foundations. I am working a good deal now upon the cosmology and eschatology of the Vedanta. I clearly see their perfect union with modern science, and the elucidation of the one will be followed by that of the other.” - Swami Vivekananda (Complete Works, VOL. V, Fifth Edition, 1347, p. 77). (1)
Tesla began using the Sanskrit words after meeting with Swami, and after studying the Eastern view of the true nature of reality, about the mechanisms that drive the material world. Eventually, it led him to the basis for the wireless transmission of electrical power, what is known as the Tesla Coil Transformer. During this year he made the following comments during a speech before the American Institute of Electrical Engineers. (Given before he familiarized himself with the the Vedic sincere of the easter nations of India, Tibet, and Nepal.)
“Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point in the universe. This idea is not novel…We find it in the delightful myth of Antheus, who derives power from the earth; we find it among subtle speculations of one of your splendid mathematicians….Throughout space there is energy. Is this energy static, or kinetic? If static our hopes are in vain; if kinetic – and this we know it is, for certain – then it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheel work of nature.” - Nikola Tesla (source)
The Vedas are a group of writings that consist of hymns, prayers, myths, historical accounting, science and the nature of reality. They date back at least 5000 years, and are not so different from other ancient texts that dive into the same matters from all across the globe. The language used is Sanskrit and its origins are unknown.
“Swami Vivekananda was hopeful that Tesla would be able to show that what we call matter is simply potential energy because that would reconcile the teachings of the Vedas with modern science. The Swami realized that in that case, the Vedantic cosmology (would) be placed on the surest of foundations. Tesla understood the Sanskrit terminology and philosophy and found that it was a good means to describe the physical mechanisms of the universe as seen through his eyes. It would behoove those who would attempt to understand the science behind the inventions of Nikola Tesla to study Sanskrit and Vedic philosophy.” - Toby Grotz, President, Wireless Engineering (source)
Apparently, Tesla was unable to show the identity of energy and matter, this did not come until Albert Einstein published his paper on relativity, which was known in the East for the last 5000 years.
“All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark.” - Swami Vivekananda
Tesla’s vision of the wireless transmission of electricity and free energy has been postponed for almost one hundred years now. Which brings us to our next topic.
What We Know Now (Today) About Free Energy
“These concepts have been proven in hundreds of laboratories throughout the world and yet they have not really seen the light of day. If these technologies were to be set free worldwide, the change would be profound, it would be applicable everywhere. These technologies are absolutely the most important thing that have happened in the history of the world.” - Brian O’Leary, Former NASA Astronaut and Princeton Physics Professor. (source)
Here is a video of world renowned Physicist Harold E. Puthoff. An American physicist who earned his Ph.D from Stanford University. I am best familiar with his work through the declassification of the remote viewing program conducted by the CIA and NSA in conjunction with Stanford University. (source 1)(source 2)(source 3). He is the director of the Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin, and has served various government agencies throughout his years.
“These are not just fringe scientists with science fiction ideas. They are mainstream ideas being published in mainstream physics journals and being taken seriously by mainstream military and NASA type funders. I’ve been taken out on aircraft carriers by the Navy and shown what it is we have to replace if we have new energy sources to provide new fuel methods.” - Dr. Harold E. Puthoff
“Back in about 1964 a researcher at the Hughes Laboratory by the name of Robert L. Forward showed that there was a particular effect, called the Casimir Effect, which demonstrated that this energy could be taped.” - Dr. Harold E. Puthoff

This is what Tesla was talking about when he said that man would “attach their machinery to the very wheel work of nature.”
It’s Time For A Change
Our current methods for extracting energy are destroying Earth. It’s destroying the environment, its people and creates conflict. We are rapidly approaching a time (if not already in that time) where we need to implement systems to eliminate the use of fossil fuels. I hope that this article, and the ones linked within it, show you that this is possible. If you are further interested in this subject, you can check out Michael Faraday, Bruce DePalma, Paramahamsa Tewari and more.
Energy source transitions do not happen over night. It took us 100 years to transfer from wood to coal, and another 100 years to move from coal to oil. But the next energy transition must happen quicker than previous ones, and it must include free energy.

It’s become painfully obvious…
We’ve been getting played out for a long, long time; manipulated into the illusion of separation. We’re deviating from our essence of love, succumbing to fear, allowing ourselves to get dragged into senseless conflict and destroying our beautiful planet.
“Just look at us. Everything is backwards, everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, psychiatrists destroy minds, scientists destroy truth, major media destroys information, religions destroy spirituality and governments destroy freedom.” -Michael Ellner
We all know, deep down, that it doesn’t have to be this way. Humanity is capable of so much more, and (thankfully) we’re seeing clearer glimpses of our potential every day.
We’re all unique, physical manifestations of infinite love, and the time has come to shine our light on Planet Earth.
Let Love Be the Guiding Force
“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.” -John Lennon
Love is our essence. Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real… An illusion.
“I have been saying and writing for so many years that one sentence can encapsulate the totality of life, of existence, of being: Infinite Love is the Only Truth – Everything Else is Illusion.” -David Icke
Love is the answer to most, if not all, questions in life. Choose love, let go of fear and judgment; that’s when we unleash our dormant magnificence.
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between 2 “wolves” inside us all. One is Evil (fear). It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is Good (Love). It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
Rigid Belief Systems = Easy Manipulation
“We have to stop thinking in black and white and soften our rigid belief systems. This world is not black and white. Nothing is. If you have a rigid belief system that is not open to the endless subtleties of life, you become a manipulator’s party trick.” -David Icke
Rigid belief systems are based in fear (“believe what I say or suffer the consequences”), and being in fear makes us easily manipulated and controlled. When we operate in love (or as love), it is the ultimate freedom.
“Never belong to a crowd; Never belong to a nation; Never belong to a religion; Never belong to a race. Belong to the whole existence. Why limit yourself to small things? When the whole is available.” -Osho
Falling into other peoples’ molds is taking life for granted. When we embrace the fact that we’re all brilliantly unique expressions of infinity, the collective reality we experience has no choice but to change for the better.
See Through the Illusion (Or Get Played)
The world we’re living in is a grand illusion. We’re constantly fed is a massive deception.
Every major system that is in place is built on fear-based conditioning. The education (indoctrination) system, organized religion, healthcare (sick care), the media…etc.
Just turn on the news; it’s all fear mongering and propaganda, designed to paralyze our consciousness. When was the last time watching the news made you feel good? And anyone with half a brain sees through the utter nonsense perpetuated.
We get brainwashed into belief systems and manipulated into conflict. Divide and conquer works like a charm when we’re programmed with fear and see others as “different” merely because of asisine labels we put on everything. Jews, Muslims, Christians, Americans, New Yorkers, Whites, Blacks, Republicans, Democrats…etc. Attaching our identity to these labels is what sets us up to be easily divided and conquered. It’s this rigid categorization that positions us as pawns for malevolent agendas.
So many get manipulated into anger and violence through fear-based conditioning and viewing fellow humans as something different from themselves. When we drop the labels and see everyone as another aspect of ourselves, we simply won’t be coerced into harming anyone.
The pathetic “elite” love war, violence, death, destruction and anything based in fear. War is immensely profitable for them. War creates more control. War is a massive fear generator, and they literally live off of our fear. (See David Icke’s books for a ridiculous amount of information and evidence on this stuff.)
Here’s an interesting excerpt from The Active Side of Infinity by Carlos Castaneda (quoting his supposed mentor Dan Juan Mathus):
We have a predator that came from the depths of the cosmos and took over our lives. Human Beings are its prisoners. The predator is our lord and master. It has rendered us docile, helpless. If we want to protest, it suppresses our protest. If we want to act independently, it demands that we don’t do so. Indeed, we are held prisoner. They took us over, because we are food to them, and they squeeze us mercilessly because we are their sustenance. Just as we rear chickens in coops, they rear us in human coops. Therefore, their food is always available to them. Think for a moment and tell me how you would explain the contradictions between the intelligence of man, the engineer and the stupidity of his belief systems, or the stupidity of his contradictory behavior. Sorcerers believe that the Predators have given us our systems of belief, our ideas of good and evil, our social morals. They are the ones who set up our beliefs of success or failure. They have given us covetedness, greed, and cowardice. It is the Predator who makes us complacent, routinary and egomanical. In order to keep us obedient and weak, the Predators engage themselves in a stupendous maneuver. Stupendous of course from the point of view of a fighting strategist. A horrendous maneuver from the point of view from those who suffer it. They gave us their mind. The predator’s mind is baroque, contradictory, morose, and filled with the fear of being discovered any minute now.
Don’t feed the parasite with fear. We must choose love in order to free ourselves.
And here’s an incredibly potent song by Black Sabbath:
“Generals gathered in their masses Just like witches at black masses Evil minds that plot destructionSorcerers of death’s construction In the fields the bodies burning As the war machine keeps turningDeath and hatred to mankind Poisoning their brainwashed minds… Oh Lord yeah!
Politicians hide themselves away They only started the war Why should they go out to fight? They leave that role to the poor, yeah
Time will tell on their power minds Making war just for fun Treating people just like pawns in chess Wait ’till their Judgment day comes, yeah!”
The way to bring about change is to not participate in the insanity. The madness simply cannot exist if we don’t take part in it. It’s as simple as that. Toxic fast food won’t be manufactured if people don’t eat it. Health-wrecking pharmaceutical drugs won’t be produced when people stop buying them. War will not exist when people refuse to kill each other.
“The pioneers of a warless world are the youth who refuse military service.” -Albert Einstein
“Non-violence is the greatest force at the disposal of mankind. It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction devised by the ingenuity of man.” -Gandhi
We’re holding up the house of cards out of fear; it’s about time we walk away and build something better.
It is only through releasing the old that we can bring about the new.
We must stop compromising our morals for money and ego. We must stop sacrificing our essence out of fear. It’s time we step into our power, and as Gandhi so eloquently said, “be the change we wish to see in the world.”
We’re far more powerful than we’ve been conditioned to think…
A New Day is Rising
“I’m American born, love America, love my people, love all mankind, all nationalities you know. I think it’s just recently where everybody just started to feel like there was an elite group that runs everything, and everybody else was sheep, ignorant, making all ethnicities, colors and creeds, niggers, blind to what really is going on. So I say take off the wool from your eyes. Out with the old America in with the new. End all racism, all injustice, all oppression to poor people, any people anywhere in this planet. Let’s come together: a new day is rising.” -Nas
More and more people are waking up to the true nature of everything. Many are now seeing through the illusion, choosing love over fear and helping to bring about change to our planet.
New and improved solutions, that are actually beneficial to humanity, are being developed in all aspects of life (energy sources, education, nutrition, economic systems…etc). We’re seeing glimpses of greatness amidst the chaos of the world. Change is happening fast. Change is happening now.
“Just before you break the sound barrier, the cockpit shakes the most.” -Chuck Yeager
Oh, it’s shaking alright. And we’re about to break out of the matrix we’ve been held in for so long.
Wake up, sleeping giants. Step into your inherent power.
When we choose love, it will collectively manifest in all forms, and in every aspect of life.
Get ready for a new paradigm.

Julian Rose, Contributor
In 1381, at a time of great repression for the British agricultural work force, an extraordinary people’s revolutionary named Wat Tyler sprang to his feet and announced, “England should be a nation of self governing communities,” to which he added, “ No lord shall exercise lordship over the people, and, as we are oppressed by so vast a hoard of bishops and clerks, the property of the holy church should be taken and divided.”
His colleague, the priest John Ball, spoke out with equal fervour, “The lords’ claims to be more lords than we are rests solely on their power to force us to labour that they may spend.”
A great surge of support for these proclamations swept through the farming communities of South East England, quickly spreading further North. The farmers took up arms – whatever appropriate implements they could find in the farmyard – and set out on their mission to free themselves from the wicked landlords and clerks, who between them were taxing the life out of the farming communities throughout the land, destroying the livelyhoods of thousands of countryside families.
Many a pernicious bureaucrat was confronted by this motley army, with the brave farmer, Wat Tyler, proudly riding at its head – and many a selfish landlord was forced to concede his greedy rental regime and bow to the demands of the British peasants.
And yes, blood was shed in the struggle to gain respect for basic human rights.
A great quest for liberation, justice and equality blazed amongst the downtrodden land-workers and villagers of fourteenth century England during those famous months of The Peasant’s Revolt. Only an act of royal treachery finally stopped this revolution from fully undermining the corrupted power of the State and the intransigence of King Richard II.
Why do I tell this story?
Because more than six hundred years after this peasant uprising shook the nation, we have come full circle. Once again the call is going out for peoples and regions under the hand of oppressive, dictatorial regimes, to cecede from the nation state and become ‘self governing communities’. Wat Tyler’s heroic stand echoes down the ages and nourishes the cause of non-compliance and community actions that stand up against the ever more insidious tentacles of centralised power.
Right now there are one hundred and fifty communities in the United States redefining their right to self govern and pushing forward their programmes for localised renewable energy and ecological food security. Not only this, they are also rewriting the laws that govern their communities and declaring citizens’ charters – banning GMOs and initiating local seed saving actions. They are also declaring the right to clean water and are making ‘fracking’ a criminal offence.
In the process, through collective acts of civil disobedience, they are stripping the corporate world of its powers. These communities are able to show how the notion that corporations have some form of sovereign power – is a facade – how it is people who hold sovereign power, as Wat Tyler made plain all those years ago. And it is people who must again exercise that power.
All over the World such stirrings are gaining momentum. Actions to reclaim powers usurped by that toxic cocktail of government and corporate collusion, are breaking out. If such stands are being taken in the US heartlands of corporate and government connivance – then it proves that the will of the people is more powerful than the will of the heirarchical cabal whose ambition it is to control all aspects of our lives. We should draw strong inspiration from these game changing actions – and increase our own determination to go in the same direction.
The time has come for all awakening individuals to hone a definite life strategy. A strategy that puts us in the driver’s seat and empowers us to set a new course – one imbued with creative inventiveness, courage and mutual support.
We have arrived here because of the accumulated evidence which overwhelmingly proves that the status quo is a fraud – designed to strip us of our powers of judgement and the determination to act on that judgement. There is no time for further deliberation of the pros and cons of this or that political polemic. It’s all a miasma. A massive sham. A sham which we continue to uphold as long as we go on playing along with its sense of self importance; giving it a status it does not actually possess, and then sheltering under its poisoned wing.
Everyday that goes by without putting into place a strategy to step out of this straight-jacket – is a day wasted – a sacrificial offering to to all that is sucking the life out of humanity.
Self government starts by taking control of the self. By shaking off the doubts about one’s capabilities and taking specific steps to enhance one’s powers: spiritually, mentally and physically. We need to be aware that there is no predestined design for this life that will fatalistically play itself out while we bury our heads in the sand.
Yet we are indoctrinated to believe that there is some kind of inevitability to the way the world lurches from crisis to crisis, war to war. That suits the cabal very well – because it is their war game that is being enacted on planet Earth – and the more people that see that war game as somehow ‘inevitable’ – the longer will it go on desecrating the fabric of life.
Just now, many are falling into the trap of declaring that we are inevitably heading for a Third World War. But in so doing they are merely fulfilling the ambitions of those craven agents of death whose game design includes that scenario. Our role is not to prophecy, but to change the goal posts so as to ensure that such horrors never take place. That is the meaning of ‘seizing control of our destinies’.
If, in spite of our efforts, such a war breaks out, it is simply because there is insufficient energy focused on the true path of life. Insufficient self discipline to steer against the tide of doom. But every person who gives in to a sense of doom when confronted by the machinations of the war machine has failed to grasp the powers with which they are endowed. Powers to change themselves as well as the assumed course of events. Forging a path of truth where presently are deserts of desolation.
Wat Tyler, and his gallant peasant followers, did not stand back and allow repression to rule. Nor should we. He proclaimed that no heirarchical figure should rule over and repress the people. So should we. He called instead for England to become a nation of self governing communities. So should we – in whatever Country we reside.
Because this is surely the only practical antidote to the super centralisation of our lives and absolute rule by the despotic fiefdoms of the 21st century.
Self governing communities turn out to be our most instinctual socio economic model of survival and create the right setting for a fertile organic expansion of the spiritual and artistic path. Because to be ‘spiritually aware’ ‘self governing’ and a ‘caring community’ is fundamental to the growth of responsible and cohesive shared living.
Everything else that poses as a solution is already shot full of holes.
Humanity is an extended family. But as in the present tragedy which is Jew-v-Arab, Israel-v-Palestine, this truth has been riven with lies and ripped apart by ulterior motives. Modern ‘democracies’ are now simply a perpetually repeating expression of this divide and conquer holocast. It is impossible to become awake and then continue to put both feet back into such a deeply compromised and incongruous system as we have today. Therefore we must change the script.
Everyone who follows my writings and the parallel concerns of others who contribute to this site, should already be concentrating themselves on the process of building – or contributing to the building of – self-governing communities. Increasingly freed from dependence on the fallen model.
As the foundations of the status quo continue to crack apart, so do the seemingly reliable sources of life dependencies to which we are accustomed also go with them. There is no more time to sit on fences. They are themselves rotting away underneath us and will soon turn to dust.
We who have become ‘aware’ – are the leaders of the age. We must live up to this reality. We know that the status quo is beyond redemption. So we must take this knowledge to be the signal to build that which will redeem our collective Human status; which will carry us through the apocalypse. We know what the ingredients are that will make our arks self sustaining. We know what we need in order to come alive again. Now we must put them all together – for that is where they belong.
If we are to overcome that which oppresses us we must unite our creative powers and imaginations in common affirmation of the life force with which we are each endowed.
The quest for liberation, justice and basic equality so nobly fought for by Wat Tyler and the peasant’s revolt six hundred year’s ago is now our revolution.

“It’s not the world that needs to change – it’s our consciousness we must raise.” – Rasheed Ogunlaru
To raise your consciousness gives you power to create a happier and fulfilling life. Its about opening yourself to newer possibilities, reconnecting with your inner self, embracing the divine within you and most importantly, free yourself from the pain and suffering that has been holding you down. It is a beautiful journey towards becoming more conscious in all aspects of your life. Heightened consciousness breaks the walls of perception, perceived reality, and false beliefs. Here are 11 ways to raise your consciousness.
1) Find yourself
Once Allen Ginsberg said, “Follow your inner moonlight; don’t hide the madness.” To find yourself first learn about yourself. Finding the real you is an enlightening experience; you are not what the society has told you to be, or the titles given to you. Don’t try to be anybody else, and live in these false illusions. Falseness is a confused loop – a temporary shelter that lowers your consciousness.
You can’t hide there for a long period of time because there is no peace in living this way. Cut your ties with falsehood. Being honest with your self raises your consciousness. Don’t choose to be a canvas, rather be the painter.
2) Observe and reflect
Have the courage to observe and reflect. Some people choose ignorance that lowers their consciousness eventually. Internal reflection will certainly help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and provide clarity in your current life situation.
It is an important step towards growth. Acknowledge your problems and seek solutions. Meditation is a good way to start the process, even for 20 minutes daily will make a difference in your state of consciousness.
3) Be compassionate
“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” ― John Holmes
Practicing compassion can be one of the single most powerful exercises for boosting your level of consciousness. Compassion is an ability to acknowledge the emotional state of our fellow human beings. Several studies prove that people who practice compassion experience constant change in their brain and respond positively to stress.
Being compassionate towards yourself and others also helps you to not only forgive the other person but also overcome your own negative thoughts or emotions.
4) Don’t hold onto your past experience or your expectations
Understand the power of now and live in the present. Get absorbed into the current moment. Let go of the wretched feelings and negative emotions. Watch your pattern of being trapped into the past, and then break that pattern. Start doing something that makes you happy. Looking at the world from the window of your past is cheating on yourself. Your present is seeking you. Allow your mind to be conscious of the present.
5) Keep your ego in check
Ego is a small portion of the whole being. Consciousness is the higher self. Scientists have proven the fact that your consciousness never dies. Ego is like an infection to the consciousness, a hindrance that blocks the growth of consciousness. But it’s curable. Ego doesn’t let you take conscious decisions. Keep asking yourself – is it the real you or is it the ego that’s talking?
6) Destroy blockages
There are multiple blockages in your mind that act as an obstruction to attain a higher level of consciousness. Being judgmental towards the self and others, your inability to forgive, having trouble accepting the reality or past emotional blocks that has been suppressed within your subconscious. It exists like a barrier in your mind which you have to break down. Set yourself free from all the blockages. Break the walls. By doing so, you will cleanse the soul and your mind will start functioning at a higher frequency.
7) Spend time alone
“The true life is not reducible to words spoken or written, not by anyone, ever. The true life takes place when we’re alone, thinking feeling, lost in memory, dreamingly self-aware, the submicroscopic moments.” – Don DeLillo, Point Omega
It is important to catch up with yourself. Most of us consider loneliness as a threat or an occasion to fret in the void. Spending time with yourself allows the inner self to speak to you. Follow that voice. It’s your inner voice talking. Go on a walk to listen to your own thoughts, give gratitude for everything that you have in your life, listen to music, or get involved in a hobby that inspires you.
8) Step out of your comfort zone
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” – Neale Donald Walsch
Step out of your comfort zone and into the discomfort of uncertainty. You never know what it holds for you. Get imaginative. Unravel new layers of your existence. Don’t feed your fear of falling or making a mistake. There is a lesson behind each stumble and fall. If you don’t step out of your comfort zone, you’ll never learn that lesson.
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against It.” – Rumi
Some say love is a drive. Some say love is a vibration. The truth of the matter is that love cannot be labeled. It is far more sacred than these labels. Allow yourself to receive love and give love whole-heartedly and unconditionally to yourself and others. And in that whole-heartedness, you experience your consciousness expanding. You feel the bliss all around you.
10) Embrace nature
Connect with nature, the rustling leaves, colourful flowers, majestic trees, ever-changing clouds and fluid water. Be grateful for the nature around you because in time spent in nature never gees wasted. Feel a deep sense of peace and oneness within, and in that feeling lies the answers you seek.
11) Meditation and Exercise
Meditation opens up a direct link between yourself and the higher realms of consciousness. Simple meditation has tremendous benefits for the mind, body and soul. It can help you connect with your self, restore balance in your thoughts and emotions, lower stress and raise your vibrations, brings joy and clarity.
Luminita Saviuc, Purpose Fairy
“To forgive is the highest, most beautiful form of love. In return, you will receive untold peace and happiness.”
~ Robert Muller
Do you consider yourself to be a forgiving or resentful person? If somebody has hurt you in the past or did something to make you suffer, would you hold on to those past events, thoughts and feelings, or would you just let them go?
I always say that where there is anger, hate, revenge, bitterness, there is also a lot of pain underneath, and I really believe that to be true. A person who is blissful and content with herself and the world around, no matter how many mean people she will encounter and no matter how much pain those people may cause her to feel, she will always respond with love, kindness and compassion instead of anger, hate and resentment. Loving people know that an eye for an eye would only leave the whole world blind, like Gandhi said it, and they choose to do no harm to the world around them.
“If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives: Be kind anyway. If you are successful you will win some false friends and true enemies: Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank people will try to cheat you: Be honest anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight: Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous of you: Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten by tomorrow: Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough: Give your best anyway.”
~ Mother Teresa
I know it’s a lot easier to give back exactly what you receive, and in this case, a lot of negativity, but we don’t want to do what’s easier, but rather what is best for our health, our well being and that of those around us. I know that people can be really mean sometimes, and that they can do horrible things to those they come in contact with, to those they love and care about, but I also believe that people can change, and this is why it’s so important to give up on your personal history that you might have had with those people, and allow them to show you just that.
If you keep an inner record of what this/that person did to you, and what they said to you, and how they made you feel, how much pain they may have caused you, etc. , every time you will come into contact with them, you will be reminded of all those things, and you will never be able to forgive and forget, nor to allow them to show you how sorry they are for what happened. No matter if they did all of those things on purpose or not, by holding on to grudge, anger or whatever it is that you are holding on to, you will bring even more pain upon your shoulders.
Just think about it. How is it possible to affect them with your hate, or whatever feelings you have towards them? You sit at home, ruminating about all the times they have mistreated you; and all the times they have hurt you; and all the many horrible things they did to you; making all kind of scenarios in your head about the things you want to tell them, and about the many ways you could get even… You spend most of your time doing just that, when the people you hate so much are probably having the time of their lives, not being affected by your feelings at all. It just doesn’t make any sense. Your ego might tell you that it does, but deep down in your heart you know that what you are doing is pretty crazy and disturbing.
I guess it’s time for you to stop, don’t you think? Forgive and forget, not for them, but for your own sake. Why spend your time thinking about something that would only attract more anger and drain you of your emotional, physical, and mental energy, ignoring all the beauty that is present in and all around you…? What’s done is done. Let it go. Detach yourself from it.
For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
One of the many mistakes people make in this case, I would say, is that they choose to hold on to something that is not healthy for them, just because they aren’t willing to let go of some past resentments. Why won’t you let go of something that is causing you so much pain?
Anger will never disappear so long as thoughts of resentment are cherished in the mind. Anger will disappear just as soon as thoughts of resentment are forgotten.
Here’s what I would like you to do: take a sheet of paper and a pen, and write down a couple of questions, questions that are meant to help you see things differently, and help you let go of your own misery. After you write each question, try giving an honest answer to each and every one of them:
Who is the person that mistreated you? Is it your mother, your father, your spouse, is it your child, your best friend, your neighbor your dog, your cat? Who is it?
Do you think they did what they did just to hurt you? Do you think they did it on purpose?
Do you think it’s possible for you to forgive them, and I mean, really forgive them?
Do you think it’s possible for you to forget everything and go back to how things were before?
Would you rather hold on to your anger than go back to being friends? Can you even remember how good it felt to be in their presence, to spend time with them?
Would you say that they are sorry for what they did?
Are you willing to give up on the relationship you had with this person because of what he/she did to you?
Is it worth being upset? Is your ego really that big?
What does your mind tell you to do?
What is your heart telling you to do?
To whom are you going to listen? Your heart, or your mind?
And then make a decision. You either choose to continue being friends with that person or not. Whatever your decision will be, you will eventually have to let go in order to be happy!
Let go of that friendship, let go of the relationship you had with this person, let go of those past resentments, let go of the hate… let go of that person you once loved. You will have to chose, and no matter what your choice would be, you will eventually free yourself.
And here’s another tip for you. If you choose with your mind, who is so critical and judgmental, and most of the time telling you all kind of crazy things that would only attract even more anger and resentment upon you, you would probably have many regrets afterwards. On the other hand, if you choose with your heart, who is constantly trying to help you see that letting go of all that negativity, would not only bring you freedom but will also help you rediscover the inner peace and happiness. It doesn’t have to be as complicated as your mind is trying to convince you life should be. Simplify your life! Listen to your mind but always follow your heart.

Several astronauts who have seen Earth from space have had profoundly awakening spiritual experiences. Here’s three of them.
Seeing Earth from space will cause you to lose your shit.
In Plato’s Phaedo, Socrates said that if you could see the Earth from space, you would recognize “that is the real heaven and the real light and the real earth.”
Your eyes, no longer bound to the horizon, see the Earth both from space and in space. Your whole perspective shifts. What was once the endless expanse of blue sky now appears to be just a thin halo surrounding the planet. You can now see above the clouds to the changing atmosphere, raging thunderstorms, and auroras of the Northern and Southern hemispheres. One half of the planet turns dark and the continents light up with networks of cities. Everything appears interconnected.
This view of Earth has only been in popular awareness since 1968, when the first color photographs were taken on the Apollo missions. It represents a major shift in consciousness. Twenty years earlier, the British Astronomer Fred Hoyle said that a photograph of Earth would be “a new idea as powerful as any in history.”
Only around 500 astronauts have ever witnessed this view first hand. For some of these astronauts, seeing the Earth was a profound, life-changing, and outright mystical experience.
Below, three astronauts recount their experiences of seeing Earth from space, and the profound effect it had on their perception.
1. Edgar Mitchell
Mitchell seems to be the most vocal about his experience of seeing Earth from above. His experience left a profound spiritual impact on him. It was so impactful that he founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences in the Sonoma Valley, an institute that conducts research into meditation, consciousness and human potential.
On his experience of seeing Earth from space, Mitchell has said:
“That’s a powerful experience, to see Earth rise over the surface [of the Moon]. And I suddenly realized that the molecules in my body, and the molecules in the spacecraft and my partners had been prototyped, maybe even manufactured, in some ancient generation of stars. But instead of being an intellectual experience, it was a personal feeling… And that was accompanied by a sense of joy and ecstasy, which caused me to say ‘What is this?’ It was only after I came back that I did the research and found that the term in ancient Sanskrit was Samadhi.”
2. Russell L. Schweickart
Schweickart flew on the Apollo 9 mission. Recounting his experience of looking down at Earth, he said:
“You identify with Houston and you identify with New Orleans… And that whole process of what it is you identify with begins to shift. When you go around the Earth in an hour and a half, you begin to recognize that your identity is with that whole thing. That makes a change. You look down there and you can’t imagine how many border and boundaries you cross… and you don’t even see them. There you are—hundreds of people in the Mideast killing each other over some imaginary line that you’re not even aware of and you can’t see.”

3. Wubbo Ockels
Ockel was the first Dutch citizen in space. He passed away last month. Before dying, he composed an open letter calling forsustainable energy solutions. The letter testifies to the spiritual impact his experience as an astronaut left on him:
“We are not bees who unconsciously build a bee colony… We are not neurons that are not aware that they altogether think. No, we are intelligent beings that indeed can see and observe the behavior of our community. We are well aware of where our Humanity is heading. We can lead Humanity into a better direction if we act together. With a new believe in Humanity we can create a new religion that brings us all together.
“There are many Religions who get people together, but never all people. The different gods in whom people believe separate Humanity… This separation has led to many conflicts… These religions do not unify humanity with the earth. They [are] not sustainable. But if we believe in the holistic Humanity we will have no conflicts because we will be inseparable… The God of humanity is in each of us. This God is not outside of us. We cannot hide behind this God because it is us.” (Via)

We live in a fast-paced, hyper-connected society. While modern technology definitely has its benefits, does being constantly plugged in to technology, and relying on it for almost everything, erode the space for spirituality in our lives? How do we keep spirituality alive in our hyper-connected society?
When was the last time you went a whole day without technology? No smartphone, iPad, laptop, computer, electronic music device, GPS navigation system etc?
Can’t remember? That makes two of us.
In recent years, our lives have rapidly become more technologically-oriented and more connected than ever before in known history.
This obviously has its benefits:
Are we creating a culture of distraction?
Never in known history have we had such capacity for distraction at our fingertips. While losing hours to smartphone games or obsessively checking the latest status updates on Facebook probably seems harmless to most, our constant use of technology is threatening to create a culture with an epidemic lack of self-awareness.
We are in a world of content creators and consumers, and more information is currently created every two days than in the entire recorded history of the written language. It’s not surprising that if we’re not constantly connected we might feel like we’re missing out on something important. There is even a name for this type of anxiety; it’s called Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and a recent study revealed that 56% of adults who use social media experience it. The irony is, by immersing ourselves in technology and distraction we are missing out on the most important thing of all – our life going on around us!
Absorption in technology and a lack of environmental awareness is becoming so chronic that traffic accidents due to driver distraction have doubled in recent times. Fights are being started as people on smartphones get in each others way.
An officer with the Seoul Metropolitan Police said, “We’ve seen a rise in reports of disputes on metro trains, and most of them started with a smartphone. People who are distracted by their smartphone are becoming a serious risk to society. (ref)
It’s even got so bad that people have been known to fall off piers, walk onto train tracks or fall into shopping mall fountains because of it. And shockingly in a recent event on a crowded train in America, passengers were so zoned-out that when someone pulled out a handgun and spent time waving it around, scratching his face with it and choosing a target, no-one realised there was a gunman on the train until a shot was fired and it was already too late.Constantly distracting ourselves from the present moment is obviously dangerous physically, but it also has devastating effects on our spiritual development.
If we are so caught up in our own little bubbles of virtual reality that we’re not even aware of what’s going on around us, how can we begin to be aware of our inner world of thoughts and emotions which are much more subtle? If we can’t be aware of what’s going on inside then we can’t begin to change and we will be at the mercy of boredom and painful inner states, which is the main reason why we’re so prone to distracting ourselves in the first place.
Without awareness of the present moment which has been understood in many spiritual cultures to be a cornerstone of self knowledge, can we even begin to develop spiritually, let alone notice the beauty and wonder of the world around us?
Hi, my name is Almost Everybody, and I’m a technology addict
I once knew a lady who checked her email so frequently at the major university where she worked that the IT department contacted her because she was slowing down the entire network.Video gamers become so absorbed in computer games that they can forget to eat or sleep.
In the most extreme cases, teens and young adults were spending up to 50 hours almost non-stop playing online computer games. Psychiatrists had confirmed anecdotal evidence that some wear nappies during long sessions so they won’t have to take a toilet break – Daily Telegraph
It’s fairly common now for people to check their email or phone more than 30 – 40 times an hour and when people feel disconnected they can get withdrawal symptoms similar to drug cravings such as mental and physical distress, anxiety, panic, confusion and feelings of extreme isolation.
To top it all off, the average number of texts sent by teenagers nowadays is 3000 – 4000 a month. That’s one text approximately every 6 minutes.
Who would have guessed technology could be so addictive?
What we haven’t been told is that technology uses discoveries from infamous behavioural psychology experiments to suck you in and keep you addicted. We are hard-wired to be alert to novelty, and when our phone dings or we receive a new email our dopamine system is triggered – the same part of our brain that would light up if we were to take heroin or cocaine.
If the pleasure and rewards we get from technology were consistent and predictable we might tire of them, but if we don’t know when or from where our next reward is coming, we will keep checking back again and again. This is called “variable ratio rewards” and it is why poker machines are the most used games at the casino, and why so many people will constantly check for new emails, messages or updates. Add to this the use of technology to feed sexual desires and you have an almost inescapable source of addiction.
Addiction of any kind is harmful spiritually and can cause all sorts of problems. Addictions can cause us to act compulsively, stealing our inner peace. They are a massive drain on our psychic energy and attach us to the physical world. Addiction feeds desire, and the more we feed desire, the more our attention is drawn to it and the stronger the vicious cycle grows.
Technology addiction makes us unhappy and more subconscious
With media consumption expected to average 15.5 hours per day by 2015, you’d think being so connected must be making us more fulfilled and happier. Unfortunately the reality is quite different. If you think of someone who is focussing on growing spiritually you might expect them to be developing qualities like:
The online world is a pretty narcissistic place, where many people compete for the most “friends” or “followers”, the best selfies, or the most “likes” on holiday pictures. In real life only about 30% – 40% of our conversations revolve around us, compared to almost 80% online. This is creating two types of phenomenon.
Firstly, we are becoming less genuine. Rather than seeing ourselves as we are and making efforts to improve, we are starting to fake our lives to create a more likeable online presence. Secondly, this leads to disappointment. If you’re living a normal life and comparing yourself to the high-flying false online personas projected by others, you’re almost certain to be disappointed in yourself.
Researchers have discovered that online usage can lead to the development of envy, depression and loneliness (which is ironic given that we are connected to more people than ever). If that wasn’t enough, it’s also been discovered that there is a limit to the amount of information we can consume, with some neuroscientists thinking we are consuming more information than we can handle. If we overload our brain beyond its limit we can trigger a fight or flight reaction causing the higher parts of our brain related to positive aspects like empathy to temporarily shut down. So too much information can actually make us more prone to acting through our subconscious impulses.
This is your brain on the Internet
Have you ever noticed that the internet functions in much the same way as a scattered mind?If you practice meditation you’ve probably noticed that your thoughts have a tendency to jump from one thing to the next until you end up somewhere quite different from where you started. Webpages follow this same structure by linking from one resource to the next until all of a sudden you realise you’ve been on the computer for far longer than intended and you’re looking at all those funny cat pictures again.
The internet encourages a scattered mind, but we can easily multiply the effect by the way we use it.
Do you have multiple tabs open right now? Are you flicking between them, skimming bits and pieces of information from everywhere without staying focused on one thing? Do you ever use your iPad while watching the news at the same time as cooking dinner?
By splitting our attention we are actively training ourselves to be distracted and it will show in your ability to focus the next time you try to be aware or sit down to meditate.
Is it time for a digital detox?
We don’t fully understand yet what the spiritual repercussions will be for a new generation becoming more absorbed in technology than ever, but the signs are not good. With so many easily available distractions and the capacity for instant gratification at our fingertips, will people even bother investing the time and effort required to activate their consciousness and experience spirituality deeply?
Over-reliance on smartphones and the internet may also lead to the inadequate development of our right brains and a resulting decline in memory and concentration. This is bad news for anyone who may be interested in spirituality as both memory and concentration are vital tools for inner development.
Access to such an abundance of information threatens to make us shallow and impatient as we skim read everything and navigate away from any page that isn’t loading fast enough.
The smartphone, more than any other gadget, steals from us the opportunity to maintain our attention, to engage in contemplation and reflection, or even to be alone with our thoughts. - Nicholas Carr from his book “The Shallows: What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains”
Thankfully it’s not too late for those of us who would rather use technology consciously to help our inner development, rather than be controlled and consumed by it.
The next time you have nothing to do, rather than reaching for your phone or the nearest wi-fi enabled device, try taking the time to practice observing yourself and your surroundings instead.
When you do use technology, use it wisely and purposefully, focusing on one thing at a time, having the self-discipline to focus on what you need to do so you don’t get sidetracked with distractions or spend a longer time on your device than you planned. Seek and digest information that is beneficial, educational and enriches your life, rather than content that is addictive or feeds your subconscious. If you’re looking for spiritual information, try to find the most practical information available, and when you’re done, make sure you put down your device and go practice and experience it – don’t just read about it!
If enough of us value spirituality more highly than distraction, then spirituality has a chance to survive in our hyper-connected society. So before you go do something else on the Internet, share this with someone who needs it and please let me know what they think.

What Is DMT?
NN-Dimethyltryptamine, or DMT for short, is a short acting psychedelic entheogen that allows a person’s consciousness to encounter some of the most incredible experiences, visions, thoughts, and dimensions imaginable.
DMT is without doubt one of the most powerful, yet mysterious, psychedelics in existence, but to classify it as merely a drug would be to do it a great injustice. DMT is more of a trans-dimensional key into experiences so profound and awe-inspiring that it raises many questions regarding the nature of reality and our place within it.
DMT is naturally occurring in every human being and is also prevalent throughout the plant and animal kingdoms. It has been found in many mammals, marine animals, trees, grasses, and flowers.
DMT is closely related to serotonin, the naturally occurring neurotransmitter that psychedelics affect so widely. The pharmacology of DMT is similar to that of other well-known psychedelics. It affects receptor sites for serotonin in much the same way that LSD, psilocybin, and mescaline do. These serotonin receptors are widespread throughout the human body and can be found in blood vessels, muscle, glands, skin, and even in the gut.
What Are The Effects?
Depending on the dosage, the effects of DMT can range over a multitude of sensations; from bizarre, beautiful, and even ‘impossible’ visions, to literally jaw-dropping awe, as one is seemingly propelled into other dimensions of existence that human language and logic cannot even begin to describe or comprehend.
The following is an excerpt from Psychedelic Monographs and Essays, which discusses the different levels of a DMT experience:
Level I: Pre-Hallucinatory experience
This stage is characterized by an interior flowing of energy/consciousness. It may be extremely intense. It may have a positive feeling content.
Level II: Vivid, brilliantly colored, geometric visual hallucinations
Here one is observing a patterned field, basically two dimensional, although it may have a pulsating quality. One may remember having seen this before.
Transitional Phase (Level IIB?): tunnel or breakthrough experience
One may see or fly through a tunnel (a passage to the next level). A veil may part, a membrane may be rent. There is a breakthrough to another world (or perhaps even a series of breakthroughs).
Alternatively, it may also happen that the transition from Level II to Level III is abrupt, almost instantaneous, with no experience of transition.
Level III: Three- or higher-dimensional space, possible contact with entities
This stage is characterized by the experience of being in an “objective” space, that is, a space of at least three dimensions in which objects or entities may be encountered.
Sometimes the entities appear to be intelligent and communicative beings. This stage may be extremely energetic with an experience of everything happening incomprehensibly fast. Alternatively it may be relatively coherent.
Travel is possible at Level III. One may, for example, assume [other forms and/or consciousnesses and experience the physical or emotional content of these forms/consciousnesses.] The limits of this stage, if any, are unknown. There may be transitions to further stages.
If you would like to read some firsthand experiences of DMT journeys, you can browse the Quality Experience Report section of the DMT-Nexus.
Is DMT Dangerous?
The feeling of doing DMT is as though one had been struck by noetic lightning. The ordinary world is almost instantaneously replaced, not only with a hallucination, but a hallucination whose alien character is its utter alienness. Nothing in this world can prepare one for the impressions that fill your mind when you enter the DMT sensorium.
The extraordinary brevity of the experience argues that it is incredibly harmless. It virtually disappears from the organism in about ten minutes. The paradox is that DMT is the most powerful yet most harmless of all these things. This is probably because, for reasons which are mysterious to us, DMT occurs in normal brain metabolism [in Serotonin].
– Terence McKenna
Even though DMT is one of the most intense psychedelics in existence, it is one of the safest, physically. Because the human body already contains DMT in trace amounts, the brain knows exactly how to utilize and metabolize this compound and it leaves the system in a matter of minutes. In fact, the brain actively transports DMT across the blood-brain barrier, an incredibly rare phenomenon that evidences the paradoxical nature of this endogenous compound that induces such otherworldly experiences. In fact one could say that since DMT is endogenous to the human nervous system it is one of the safest psychedelics available, far safer than common alcohol and cigarettes.
Mentally, DMT is extremely intense. One of the few dangers that one may encounter is a lack of preparedness for the intensity of the experience and may have trouble integrating it into their waking life. It may be helpful to have some grounding in esoteric or psychedelic states of mind before embarking on any DMT voyages. Set and setting also play a big part in facilitating the most positive, insightful, and enjoyable experience possible.
How Can One Acquire DMT?
There are a number of ways to acquire this entheogen. The first and most difficult way is to have some substantial chemistry knowledge and experience and actually synthesize pure DMT in a laboratory. This is a rather tricky and time consuming process and requires access to some rather obscure and hard to acquire chemicals.
The most common and easiest method to acquire DMT is to extract it from the various plant species that contain the compound. The various plants and extraction techniques won’t be expounded upon here, but come on…you’re reading this on the Nexian, right? Maybe check out the DMT-Nexus forums and wiki.
What Are The Implications Of DMT?
The DMT experience remains one of the most baffling and amazing enigmas of the human experience. The realms one breaks into are frequently described as “amazing,” “incredible,” and even “impossible.” Many, if not most, who have taken DMT and experienced the phenomenon known as a “breakthrough” feel that their experience was not mere “hallucination,” ”hypnagogia,” or even material from their subconscious mind.
Some common ideas of what might be occurring are expounded upon below from an excerpt of Psychedelic Monographs and Essays. It should be noted that the following by no means encompasses all, or even the majority of DMT experiences:
“Although the amazing geometrical hallucinations experienced under the influence of DMT are sufficient in themselves to command attention among students of psychedelics, the really interesting part of the experience is the apparent contact with alien beings.
Since some may feel reluctant to admit the possible existence of alien beings [let alone their contacting human beings under the influence of DMT], we should consider all hypothesis that might explain the observations, or at least, those that are consistent with them.”
Several questions can be distinguished. First, there is the question of the independent reality of the entities. Subjects report experiences of contact with communicative beings whose independent existence at the time seems self-evident. It is worth noting that at this point in time, we have no ability to verify claims about the independent reality of consensus reality, and should therefore not be too hasty to make such demands about the DMT experience.
These experiences are not described as dream-like. If these entities have an existence independent of the DMT-influenced subject, then a realm of existence has been discovered which is quite other to consensus reality, which many assume is the only “real” plane of existence. The discovery of a “separate reality” would directly challenge the foundations of the current Materialist paradigm.
Additional questions arise, regardless of whether the entities are independently-existing or not, as to what they are seen as and seen to be doing? What is happening, for example, when some subjects report seeing thousands of these entities simultaneously? Even more interesting is the phenomenon of communication, or attempted communication, which many people report. Some people also report seeing the entities communicating with each other, in some kind of mutual exchange — but of what?
This matter can also be approached from the point of view of neuropharmacology. What exactly is going on when DMT molecules are drawn across the blood brain barrier and into the brain, causing it to function in what appears subjectively to be a radically different manner? Why does the brain seek out this molecule with an affinity normally reserved for glucose and other compounds understood to be vital to the functionality of the brain?
A Few Possible Interpretations of the DMT Experience
Listed below are eight possible interpretations of the DMT experience which imply answers (true or false) to some or all of the questions raised above. Some of these, like the experience itself, are bizarre, but at this stage, any idea should be considered since in this matter the truth (to paraphrase J.B.S. Haldane) probably is not only stranger than we suppose, but stranger than we can suppose.
1) There are no entities at all; it’s merely subjective hallucination. The DMT state may be interesting, even extremely interesting, but really, there are no independently-existing entities to be found. Such a possibility might lead us to conclude that DMT is, at its minimum, neurochemical art; some of the most beautiful, interactive, awe-inspiring art available to the human mind.
2) DMT provides access to a parallel or higher dimension, a truly alternate reality which is, in fact, inhabited by independently-existing intelligent entities forming (in the words of Terence McKenna) “an ecology of souls.”
3) DMT allows awareness of processes at a cellular or even atomic level. DMT smokers are tapping into the network of cells in the brain or even into communication among molecules themselves. It might even be an awareness of quantum mechanical processes at the atomic or subatomic level.
4) DMT is, perhaps, a neurotransmitter in reptilian brains and in the older, reptilian parts of mammalian brains. Flooding the human brain with DMT causes the older reptilian parts of the brain to dominate consciousness, resulting in a state of awareness which appears totally alien (and sometimes very frightening) to the everyday monkey mind.
5) A non-human intelligent species created humans by genetic modification of existing primate stock and then retreated, leaving behind biochemical methods for contacting them. The psychedelic tryptamines are chemical keys that activate certain programs in the human brain that were placed there intentionally by this alien species.
6) The realm to which DMT provides access is the world of the dead. The entities experienced are souls or personalities of the departed, which retain some kind of life and ability to communicate. The realm of dead souls, commonly accepted by cultures and societies that do not ascribe to a materialist worldview, is now accessible using DMT.
7) The entities experienced are beings from another time that have succeeded in mastering the art of time travel, not in a way which allows materialization, but in a way which allows them to communicate with conscious beings such as ourselves.
8) The entities are probes from an extraterrestrial or an extra dimensional species, sent out to make contact with organisms such as ourselves who are able to manipulate their nervous systems in a way which allows communication to take place.
These interpretations in no way reflect the entire myriad of possibilities surrounding the DMT experience, but are intended to serve as a jumping off point for those interested in such thought experiments. These hypotheses can be expanded and are, of course, open to objections. It may be that one day we have sufficient evidence to pin down a certain hypothesis as a reasonable assumption as to “what’s really going on,” but today is not that day. It’s quite possible that such a day will never come.
The important thing to remember is that, whether or not these experiences are “real,” or entities “exist,” these experiences are available to the human consciousness. The real question is not the objective validity of these experiences, but the subjective effects of these experiences. What can we learn from these experiences? What can we do with these experiences? How can we use these experiences to catalyze change in ourselves and the world around us?

The Garden Island’s rare plants and wildlife are being put at risk by the toxic chemicals used on GMO test fields.
Given its fragile and unusually rich ecology, the Hawaiian island of Kaua`i seems ill-suited as a site for agricultural experiments that use heavy amounts of toxic chemicals. But four transnational corporations — Syngenta, BASF Plant Science, DuPont Pioneer and Dow AgroSciences — have been doing just those kinds of experiments here for about two decades, extensively spraying pesticides on their GMO test fields. As a result, the landscape on the southwest corner of the island has become one of the most toxic chemical environments in all of American agriculture.
This poses serious risks for the people of Kaua`i, as I’vedocumented in my earlier report, but even less noticed are the hazards posed to the unique flora and fauna of the island and the coral reefs just off its shores. Each of the seven highly toxic pesticides most commonly used by the GMO giants on Kaua`i — chlorpyrifos, paraquat, atrazine, permethrin, methomyl, alachlor and metolachlor — is known to be toxic to plants, wildlife or both.
The isolated geography of Kaua`i has fostered the evolution of a great diversity of birds, bugs and plants. Kaua`i has more unique species — species that live only on the island — than anywhere else in the world, said Dr. Carl Berg, an ecologist and long-time advocate for clean water with the Kaua`i chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. Berg and others fear that these endemic species are being put at great risk of extinction by exposure to the chemicals, though he says he has no idea of the extent of the damage.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service added 48 species that live only on Kauai to the endangered species list in 2010, including two different species of the Hawaiian honeycreeper, a small bird, and the large Hawaiian picture-wing fly. Also, several protected marine species rest or breed on the island’s beaches, including the highly endangered Hawaiian monk seal and the threatened green sea turtle. Occasionally, an endangered leatherback and hawksbill sea turtle will wander close in. A total of 17 different kinds of dolphins and whales frolic in the island’s harbors and bays.
To best understand the island’s ecology, start at its highest point, Mount Waialeale. The island’s central volcano, which was born in a massive eruption 6 million years ago on the ocean floor and now stands 5,200 feet above sea level at its summit. Over millennia, natural forces (wind, rain, volcanic eruptions) have carved a series of unique micro-ecosystems into the landscape, from the rain-swept mountain peak to the hot and dry southern coast. As you go down the mountain, the mix of unique species that fill each ecological niche changes dramatically every few feet, from the tropical rainforests dominated by the prized hardwood koa to the mist-shrouded swamp forests of lapalapa, a small endemic flowering shrub.
Mount Waialeale, one of the three rainiest places on earth, receives an average of 460 inches of rain per year, according to the National Climatic Data Center. The GMO test fields, located just 12 miles away near sea level, receive less than 20 inches of rainfall per year.
Steady trade winds, which blow in from the northeast, carry a cargo of pollen, birds, bugs and other life forms to Kaua`i. As they whip across the island, they also kick up dust and agricultural chemicals and deposit them on top of the island’s many native species and habitats. Often the wind reverses direction in late afternoon and blows up the canyon, away from the town of Waimea and toward the northwhere most of the rare species live, just a few miles away.
The Waimea River is the lifeline connecting each micro-ecosystem. It begins its journey above the spectacular 3,000 foot deep Waimea River Canyon (called the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” by some), meanders down toward the lowlands where it picks up polluted runoff from the fields where Dow and DuPont test their GMO crops, and gently eases into the Pacific Ocean. Offshore, It deposits the polluted water on top of the coral reefs that form a ring around the island.
Underground rivers of water also contaminated with the chemicals follow a similar route to the sea, finally emerging from submerged springs that bubble up through the corals. The coral reef ecosystem, which includes the colorful coral, tiny reef fish, and seagrasses, is lodged between the polluted surface water and groundwater like a waffle in a waffle iron.
Water quality tests show that the levels of chemical contamination in the river and groundwater are too low to violate drinking water standards, but are high enough to pose a hazard to aquatic life.
The amount of this pollution, while small, appears to be increasing. Water sampling results published recently by the US Geological Survey show that the levels of atrazine, chlorpyrifos, and other pesticides in surface waters near Waimea increased nearly four-fold from 2012 to 2014.
Studies from Australia show that agricultural runoff tainted with atrazine and chlorpyrifos are harming corals and other aquatic life in the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest coral reef ecosystem. No studies have been conducted to see if similar effects are occurring off Kaua`i.
Barely detectable levels of pesticides are enough to damage the coral, said Australian biologist Dr. Andrew Negri, who has written several papers on the issue. “As corals are symbiotic organisms, the insecticides are most likely to affect the host animal, whereas the herbicides can affect the symbiotic microalgae,” which provide corals with energy, he said.
Later this month, the US government is expected to add more than 60 types of reef-building corals to the endangered species list, including many from in the Indo-Pacific oceanic region, which includes waters around Hawaii and Kaua`i.
The courts have ruled that it is illegal for pesticide use to do harm to endangered species. The Endangered Species Act can be a powerful tool in the hands of environmental lawyers. In the 1990s, endangered species litigation was used to block many timber sales in spotted owl habitat in the dense old-growth forests of the Pacific Northwest.
No such lawsuits have been filed on behalf of Kaua`i’s endangered wildlife so far.

We have all heard the phrase “You are the Master of your own Destiny”. What this means inLaw of Attraction terms is that you create your reality and attract into your life circumstances that align to your current state of thinking. We all want to have the most amazing life possible (at least on a soul level – even if the subconscious is in conflict) – but do you have the ability to take the helm and steer your own life?
The Universe responds well to clear and strong manifestation requests coming from a place of confidence, empowerment and self belief. When you are strong and clear in yourself – the Universe can hear you and you are more likely to get what you want. But at the same time you have to make it happen for yourself and be able to take action steps that will get you there. It is the action that is the stumbling block for many. There is a desire, a wish, a dream – and then there is the end result out their in the ethers – as yet unmanifested – but in between is a gaping chasm that can only be bridged through the path of action which requires a degree of self mastery.
Self mastery is the ability to create for yourself what you want in your life from a place of clarity, whilst having the focus and determination not to yield to external distractions that will take you away from where you want to be. When you know what you want and you believe you can have what you want and you can do the action steps – you will receive or experience it.
So how can one become the Master of one’s Destiny and harness the Law of Attraction to its fullest?
Here are 5 basic steps that can greatly improve your ability to create your own life.
1. Recognize you have the power to choose. If you are not where you want to be – you have to narrow the gap through the power of conscious and clear choices. Your life is a product of your choosing and if you want to manifest well you have to be able to become aware of what you are choosing! If your subconscious is doing it for you – then you are at the mercy of the unknown. Make it a point to know yourself better.
Your whole life is the product of your choices.
Positively affirming choices take you closer to your ideal – negative choices take you further away. You can compound the power of positive choices to build a powerful field of intent that will attract positive circumstances into your life. If you believe you cannot choose – you are a victim and must then just hope for the best. Being a victim to outer circumstance is a power drain and not fun. Look to see where you give your power away externally. For as long as you do this – others will choose for you – every time – on their terms!
2. Make sure your life is on your terms. Your life has to work for you if you are going to create anything. Working on all levels. Work in work that works for you. Making the money that gives you the life that you want. Manifesting the clients that suit you.
Do a reality check and see who’s terms are running your life?
If they are not yours – you are not a Sovereign Being and you will be living the life stories of others.
Once your life is on your own terms – other people’s stories will not trouble you or sway you from your path. A LOT of obstacles on the path to creating your ideal life will have root causes in living on other’s peoples terms. To have the power to live your own life – take it back from those who you gave it to in the first place. Other people – if you let them – will put rocks in your path – when you least expect it.
Wow! Where did those rocks come from !?
Know what you want and make sure that you are in control of your own life – at all times.
3. Be Yourself. As you have the potential to become your own Master – the way to realize this is to be authentic to yourself. Do not be concerned about what others may think, what people want you to wear, what people want you to be like or worry about getting permission from the outside to be who you want to be. Just be yourself. If you are concerned about other peoples thoughts and opinions – there is some self-love work to do so that you can develop a stronger sense of self determination.
The Universe does not care for ‘hoop jumping’ or ‘people pleasing’. Please yourself and you will please those who respect and appreciate you. If people do not respect and appreciate you – the chances are you do not want them around anyway.
4. Be aware of dream-stealers. Make sure you do not share your manifestation wishes with those who believe you should not have it. If people would never consent to what you want – ask yourself what are you doing in their lives? There is a power in keeping one’s mouth shut in such cases.
Blabbing to the whole world about what you want will dilute your energy and prevent you getting what you want. What you will then get is a mixture of your dreams mixed in with a dose of everyone else’s dreams – whether agreeable or not!
Intent and focus is magnified when you strengthen up your energy field and cease being the loose cannon. Many of us like to post our wishes and dreams in Facebook groups so that we can get support in manifesting them – but it does not work like that. There are big Facebook Support Groups out there for Manifestors but the truth is that the words Manifestation and Support Group are a contradiction in terms. Only you can create your own life. You are responsible for it. No-one else can do it for you. If you are weak willed and ask others to help – you will attract into your life those who do not have your best interests at heart.
If you need support, hire a therapist first to sort out the emotional problems so that you can stand on your own two feet. Then think about using the Law of Attraction after.
5. Do not take crap or crappy behaviour from people. A big one but an important one. People like trying to crap over successful people because they hate their own life and feel envious, jealous or downright hateful. Learn how to deal with it and develop a thick skin. Be loving and soft on the inside and know when to share that – but make sure you have some protection in the world. Learn how to give karma back that is not yours and learn how to not attract crap in the first place.
Many philosophies talk about love and forgiveness but the real forgiveness is in releasing your emotional attachment to the story so that it no longer affects your life. Period.
The more you love and respect yourself – the less you will be presented with other people’s emotional crap. Once you have the above 5 in place – you are well on the way to manifesting your amazing and abundant life.

This article is for everyone who eats chicken. It’s not about whether eating chicken is moral or healthy. If based on your own ethical and nutritional requirements, you’ve already decided to eat chicken, please consider this advice:
Only eat chicken that is organic and raised outdoors on pasture.
If you can, buy your chicken directly from a farmer who slaughters their birds on the farm. If you’re shopping at the grocery store, look for chicken that is USDA Organic and, to ensure that it was actually raised outdoors on pasture, certified as Animal Welfare Approved or Global Animal Partnership “Step 5.” (These two animal welfare ratings include pasture requirements that are stronger than those required by the USDA Organic program.)
Why follow this advice? Aside from the obvious animal welfare issues, organic chicken, raised outdoors on pasture, without the routine use of antibiotics, is better for your health, and better for the environment. (If you’re already convinced, scroll down for links on how to avoid chicken from factory farms).
Nine billion chickens a year
For the first time in 100 years, Americans are eating more chicken than beef.
Every year, 9 billion chickens are slaughtered for meat in the U.S. This number represents more than 95 percent of the land animals killed for food in the country.
Where does all this chicken come from and how was it produced?
We’d like to think it’s like the Portlandia “Is it local?” sketch. There, a waiter describes a locally raised organic chicken named Colin, who was “a Heritage Breed, woodland-raised chicken that’s been fed a diet of sheep’s milk, soy and hazelnuts.” It’s enough to make the diners leave the restaurant to go see Colin’s idyllic farm for themselves.
Unfortunately, reality is more like Food & Water Watch’s “Is it factory farmed?” spoof. There, the waiter admits the chicken was raised on a factory farm controlled by one of four giant corporations. It was kept in a crowded, filthy warehouse with a hundred thousand others, kept alive only with the prophylactic use of antibiotics. Then it was processed in a slaughterhouse where the lines move too fast to monitor or implement any kind of food safety system, so its carcass was simply dunked in bleach to remove any visible signs of fecal contamination.
Health, safety and factory farm chicken
Each year roughly one in six Americans (or 48 million people) get sick, 128,000 are hospitalized, and 3,000 die of foodborne diseases. More deaths are attributed to contaminated chicken than any other food, with salmonella as the leading cause of death.
If you heard about the recent Foster Farms Salmonella outbreak (or any of the many other food safety scandals that regularly make headlines), you know that where the chicken you eat comes from, and how it is produced, can have a big impact on your health. California-based Foster Farms is responsible for infecting 500 people across the country with antibiotic-resistant Salmonella.
How chicken is produced is even more of a concern for the people involved in the production. The poultry industry is notoriously dangerous. It “chews up its workers and spits them out like a chaw of tobacco,” says Celeste Monforton of George Washington University School of Public Health & Health Services.
If you haven’t read anything about the meatpacking industry since you were assigned Upton Sinclair’s The Jungle in high school, you can update your knowledge of what it’s like to work in a poultry slaughterhouse by reading Gail Eisnitz’s Slaughterhouse: The Shocking Story of Greed, Neglect, and Inhumane Treatment Inside the US Meat Industry, Human Rights Watch’s “Blood, Sweat, And Fear: Workers’ Rights in U.S. Meat and Poultry Plants,” Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Unsafe at These Speeds,” or the Charlotte Observer’s “The Cruelest Cuts: The Human Cost of Bringing Poultry to Your Table.” These books and articles provide graphic first-person accounts of common workplace injuries in poultry slaughterhouses, everything from fingers lost on the line to hands that are so mangled by long-term repetitive stress that they can’t hold a spoon.
Slaughterhouse workers are also sickened by chemicals sprayed on poultry carcasses to kill pathogens.
Working on a factory farm raising chickens is also dangerous and bad for your health. According to the Center for Disease Control, hazards include: “Exposures to chemicals such as ammonia or disinfectants and detergents used on poultry farms… exposures to biological agents including viruses… bacteria… and fungi… [and] injuries … from working in awkward body positions during activities such as poultry catching.”
1.5 billion pounds of chicken manure
The poultry industry is one of the nation’s biggest polluters. In what is known as the Broiler Belt of the Southeast, “The industry is serving a cocktail of injustice and pollution to rural residents, and most of them aren’t in a position to fight back,” according to an article in Grist.
But the water, air and greenhouse gas pollution generated by poultry factory farms isn’t confined exclusively to the regions where the farms are located. The environmental impacts of factory-farmed chicken, as documented in Pew’s “Big Chicken: Pollution and Industrial Production in America,” and Frontline’s “Poisoned Waters,” are widespread.
Poultry farms are responsible for more manure pollution than other livestock operations. Of all the Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs), as factory farms are denoted by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), poultry farms are the most densely concentrated. Concentrated animals means concentrated waste. Factory farm waste is typically spread on cropland. That’s the cheapest way to dispose of it. But there isn’t enough cropland for it all.
In 2000, the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimated that there were 1.5 billion pounds more “nutrients” than available cropland could handle. More than half of this was attributable to poultry, even though poultry farms represented only 15 percent of all CAFOs. Where do all these “excess nutrients” end up? In our water. And that means polluted drinking water, closed beaches and fish kills.
Want chicken that’s more like Portlandia’s Colin, chicken that’s better for you, better for the environment and raised humanely?
Start by looking for USDA certified organic chicken in the grocery store. USDA Organic certification prohibits soaking chicken in chlorine, the use of feed containing slaughterhouse waste, and ensures chicken that hasn’t beencontaminated with arsenic.
Under USDA certification, the routine, over-use of antibiotics is also prohibited. Antibiotic-free organic chicken is less likely to contain antibiotic-resistant bacteria, though a recent Consumer Reports study found more antibiotic-resistant bacteria in organic chicken than expected. It’s likely that the organic chicken gets contaminated at the slaughterhouse or at the meatpacking plant, as the same facilities process conventional and organic birds alike. (That’s one good reason to buy organic chicken raised locally on a small farm that slaughters the birds on site. Mobile slaughter and processing units are making it easier for small-scale chicken producers to avoid the large slaughterhouses).
The leading producer and distributor of USDA certified organic chicken is Coleman Natural Foods, a Perdue brand that markets Petaluma Poultry. Petaluma’s Rosie was the first USDA certified organic chicken brand. Rosie was “never administered antibiotics,” she was fed an “organic vegetarian diet with no GMOs” and she was raised “free range.” There are few standards of purity higher than “reared without antibiotics on an organic vegetarian diet.” But what does “free range” actually mean?
Rosie’s website features a close-up of a fluffy white chicken nestled behind a tuft of grass on a sunlit pasture. But it also mentions that the company had to start a recycling program with rice farmers to rid itself of the manure that piles up in the poultry houses. Under organic rules, farms are required to provide chickens with access to the outdoors. So if Rosie were really spending all of her time outdoors, would farmers have a problem with manure piling up indoors?
It turns out that the extent of outdoor access provided to organic, free-range chickens varies widely and could be anything from pasture to a dirt lot. The Animal Welfare Institute’s Food Labeling for Dummies warns about this claim: “The length of time the birds are required to have outdoor access, and how this must be verified is not legally defined and therefore varies greatly from facility to facility. Crowding is not uncommon.”
Organic is a very strong standard, overall, but for animal welfare guarantees and access to pasture, there are more specific and rigorous programs available. Organic Consumers Association recommends looking for USDA Organic plus an Animal Welfare Approved or Global Animal Partnership (Step 5) label.
You can also buy direct from Animal Welfare Approved farmers here.
Or check out the American Pastured Poultry Producers’ Association, FarmMatch.com, EatWild.com andLocalHarvest.org to connect with farmers raising chicken organically on pasture.
Just like processed food companies should have to tell us which ingredients are genetically engineered, companies that sell animal products should have to tell us how the animals were raised.
Ideally, all chicken in the grocery store would be labeled to tell consumers how it was produced. A great model for a mandatory method-of-production labeling system is the 5-Step Animal Welfare Rating program run by the Global Animal Partnership (GAP).
GAP sets minimum standards of animal welfare that all producers, from Step 1 to 5+, must meet. All chickens must be handled in a manner that does not cause injury. No chicken may be physically altered. Among the physical alterations routinely performed on chickens that are banned by GAP are:
• Beak trimming: The incredibly painful partial amputation of the beak, which contains more nerve endings than our finger tips.
• Dubbing: Cutting off the chicken’s comb with a pair of scissors, without anesthetics or analgesics.
• Caponization: Castration that is performed without any pain relief and requires cutting into the abdomen to access the testes. (Caponization is banned in the E.U.).
• De-Spurring: Removal of the spur bud on the back of the male’s leg using a heated wire.
• Toe trimming: Cutting off toes to prevent growth of nails or spurs.
Under GAP’s 5-Step Animal Welfare Rating system, the higher the “Step” the better the living conditions are for the chickens.
Step 1: Chickens are kept indoors, but they must have enough space to express natural behavior, including standing, turning around and preening, without touching another chicken.
Step 2: Chickens are kept indoors, and in addition to being given enough space to express their natural behaviors, they are given at least one “enrichment.” These are materials that add complexity to their environment and encourage the expression of natural behaviors, such as foraging, without losing their novelty. Examples include bales of straw or hay, and scattered grains. Step 2 chicken brands include Eberly, Empire Kosher, FreeBird, and Wise Organic Pastures.
Step 3: Chickens have seasonal access to the outdoors with provisions that encourage ranging and foraging. Indoors, at least two enrichments must be provided. Outdoors, at least 25 percent of the area must be covered with vegetation and/or forage. Step 3 chicken brands include Bell & Evans, Mary’s Chicken, Pine Manor Organic, Petaluma Poultry.
Step 4: Chickens live in an enhanced outdoor environment during daylight hours, with access to housing. When they may be at risk outdoors due to climatic conditions, the chickens have continuous access to a covered outdoor area with foraging material and natural light. At least 50 percent of the outdoor area must be covered with vegetation and/or forage. Step 4 chicken brands include the Crystal Lake ‘Free Ranger,’ Campo Lindo Farms, Joyce Farms, Draper Valley, Shenandoah Valley Organic, and Vital Farms.
Step 5: Chickens live outdoors in an enhanced environment during daylight hours and may only be housed during extreme weather conditions. At least 75 percent of the outdoor area must be covered with vegetation and/or forage. Step 5 chicken brands include Field to Family, White Oak Pastures, and Pitman Family Farms
Step 5+ chickens spend their lives on a single farm.
The GAP program provides consumers with an impressive range of information. Whole Foods Market and a few other smaller local and regional groceries and restaurants sell only GAP Step-rated meats.
The best alternative to the GAP system is the Animal Welfare Approved labeling scheme, which is roughly equivalent to the GAP Step 5/5+ label.
Animal Welfare Approved has a few additional standards that aren’t included in GAP’s program, including a family farmrequirement. There are other minor differences between AWA and GAP. For example, the GAP standard acknowledges, “Rapid growth rate has a significant impact on welfare, including health, of chickens.” But AWA actually prohibits the use of: “Birds who have undergone genetic selection to the point that their welfare is negatively affected.”

Today I would like to return to your awareness an aspect of the Human condition that can be persuaded into believing in something that isn’t real. The magician with his iconic hat and cloak is far from being the master of such illusions. This dubious distinction belongs to the politician. Behind their towering podium, they extol virtues of a utopian world while deceptively masking true intent.
And there is magic in their words. We want to believe in our elected— that they will indeed serve us in a dignified, judicious way and their campaign promises will come to fruition. But the role of the politician is duplicitous at best. Those who seek higher office often answer to a much lower calling. Motivated by the prospect of ill-gotten gains, some won’t hesitate to arrange lucrative deals and secure favors with guarantees that will stay in place long after leaving office. This lure can prove especially intoxicating to the high-functioning psychopath who would sell their country short in a heartbeat for the right price and a cursory nod in history books. They seem to always have a trick up their sleeve and an Ace of Spades hidden in their shoe.
In the following paragraphs I’ll briefly touch on what arguably could be the most impressive of all tricks. It is an illusion of grand scale. It’s a maniacal construct so perverse, so malevolent, that it often defies comprehension. And that’s exactly why it works. This deception is known as “false flag” provocation. It’s an effective instrument for ushering in a flood of new laws along with sweeping changes to existing rules and policies.
There are many of us who are beginning to see the fishing line and puppet strings that “rulers” use to control our world. Some would call us “tinfoil hat” conspiracy nuts. That doesn’t get us in much of a fluster these days. In fact, there are some of us who covet the distinction. Truth is our light and we make no apology for it. And the truth is out there. Not only CAN we handle the truth— now more than ever we must seek it!
Sorry, False Flags are a Fact
As difficult as it is to admit, false flag operations are a disturbing fact of life. These attacks can be loosely defined as a covert undertaking designed to deceive a population. The attack gives the appearance it was carried out by a foreign entity (or domestic terrorists,) when in fact it was carefully orchestrated by internally-trained experts. Something invariably goes “boom” and the blame game begins. Forces are rallied and guns are leveled. When the dust and smoke settles, a handful of mysterious people make off with a boatload of blood money.
Damning evidence is planted and sometimes even phony witnesses are conjured to further implicate the targeted group. In such cases, the media is often complicit and will taint public opinion by choosing the right words in the headline and slanting the facts just far enough to sound fairly convincing. People who voice opposition to a military offensive are often snubbed as non-patriotic, enemy sympathizers or worse. Sooner or later a politician begins banging the war drums. And just like magic a highly developed response plan goes into effect. Complex laws and legislation are spawned practically overnight. Well, that’s because they were written well in advance just waiting for the rightful moment. It’s magic alright. Given an illusion of this scale, I don’t believe even David Copperfield could top such an act.
The following offers a very brief overview of some major false flag undertakings. The noble guards of the tinfoil hat brigade already know about these. But for those who are still scratching their heads and puzzling over all this, I recommend going online and researching each of these events separately and in detail. Why do this? Because I know you CAN handle the truth!
--Emperor Nero allegedly ordered a covert mission to have a third of Rome burned down. He would later blame it on Christians who he claimed “hated the Human race.” Nero got what he wanted, a towering statue of himself and a huge complex dubbed the Domus Aurea.
--Remember the Maine? The U.S. battleship Maine mysteriously exploded and sank in the harbor of Havana, Cuba, in 1898. Well that fired up the Spanish-American war. Pretty darn convenient too- the war protected U.S. interests in the tobacco, sugar and iron trade with Cuba. Historians and researchers later surmised that the ship was likely blown up by the United States to provide a pretext to invade Cuba and expel Spain.
—Then we have the notorious sinking of the Lusitania. This got us into WWI. Germans warned the U.S. government through our embassies that they would sink this civilian British vessel if she were to continue with her passages. The Germans suspected the ship was carrying a secret cargo of munitions. The media never printed those warnings, and true to their word, a German U-boat eventually torpedoed and sank the RMS Lusitania, taking nearly two thousands civilian passengers with her.
Nearly a hundred years later, in 2008, divers discovered the Lusitania carried more than four million rounds of rifle ammunition. “There were literally tons and tons of stuff stored in unrefrigerated cargo holds that were dubiously marked cheese, butter and oysters,” according to Gregg Bemis, an American businessman who owns the rights to the wreck.
The loss of lives provided the necessary support to pull the U.S. into this ugly war. Apparently they needed an innocent body count to get everyone riled up. They got it. How many passengers would have stayed off that ship if they knew of the warnings that were being silenced by our media?
--The Reichstag Fire proved to be Hitler’s ticket to impose broad-sweeping freedom reforms on German citizenry. This engineered crisis in February of 1933 resulted in an emergency decree restricting personal liberties, rights and freedoms. Sound sort of familiar? It led to Hitler’s “Enabling Act” which ultimately established him as a dictator.
Gestapo Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring candidly admitted that “the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.” …And so there you go.
—Here’s a false flag that almost was. Operation Northwoods was a plan infamously conceived by the Department of Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Operation Mongoose. During the height of the cold war with Cuba, the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff unanimously proposed state-sponsored acts of terrorism that would take place in America. The plan included details on shooting down “hijacked” American airplanes, sinking U.S. ships and even randomly shooting Americans on the streets of D.C. and Miami. We would pin the blame on Cuba then offer up a swift and deadly retaliation. JFK buried the plan before it could get wings. Just over a year later, we would bury JFK.
--The Gulf of Tonkin served as impetus for entering the Vietnam War. Problem is it was just another ruse. On August 4, 1964, President Johnson went on national television telling the nation North Vietnam had attacked U.S. ships. “Repeated acts of violence against the armed forces of the United States must be met not only with alert defense, but with a positive reply. That reply is being given as I speak tonight,” Johnson snarled. Soon Congress would approve the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution for military operations against North Vietnam.
Investigators are quite certain this attack never happened. Retired N.S.A. historian, Robert J. Hanyok, found in 2001 that the N.S.A. intentionally faked communications about the incident to create a false flag attack. Senators worried if these facts were ever released to the public that the masses would become infuriated. Hmmm? Maybe this is why they started putting fluoride in the water.
Other possible false flags worthy of deeper investigation include the Oklahoma City bombings, the events of 9/11, the 2005 London City bombings and the list unfortunately goes on and on. –Tinfoil hat, conspiracy, nut-job stuff? I wish it were. I really do. But the pit in my stomach tells me otherwise. The Hegelian Dialectic stratagem famously put into concise terms by David Icke brings it down to this: “problem, reaction, solution.” Create a problem- stir a reaction- then wait for the government to ride in on a white horse and rescue everyone. But the rescue comes at a hefty price, most notably in the form of personal freedom restrictions and taxation. Using a “Strategy of Tension” and by not letting a good crisis go to waste, corrupt politicians can reap rewards from their global masters.
Bomb Makers Rule the World
Who’s really in charge? I say it’s not the government, but the people who build the biggest bombs. They’ve got all the weapons, so who do you think is going to bully them around? Big military contractors get the lucrative contracts to build jets, bombs and guns, and they don’t keep all that money in a shoe box. Nope- big, international, private banking institutions hold on to the booty. It’s a complimentary, almost incestuous relationship. It’s a monster money grab for sure. Nothing can bankrupt a nation faster than going to war. But a multinational entity can profit handsomely from military engagements. With globalists, there is no allegiance to a particular nation and not a tear to be found for the fallen. They enjoy moving pawns across the world chessboard and act only when it serves in their best interest.
I don’t sense these globalists are particularly fond of people. They clearly don’t respect us. I swear sometimes I can reach right into their evil little brains and hear what they’re thinking. They don’t like us because to them we’re not very bright. If we were just a touch smarter, we could not be marched out on the front lines of a battlefield and ordered to shoot and kill people we don’t even know. Unfortunately I must admit they see us as simple-minded, malleable servants, hopelessly locked into a rigged system. All they have to do is get Mariah Carey to sing The Star Spangled Banner to get us all misty-eyed. She makes the line “bombs bursting in air” sound so beautiful… eeeyikes! Now I’m not knocking love for your nation. I’m merely reminding people how easy it is to get caught up in the lunacy of patriotism. In fact, there are very few “isms” I subscribe to.
Now that I’ve managed to offend a few, I just want to say how much power you can unknowingly place into a system by fervently held beliefs. These beliefs can be controlled and manipulated externally and rather easily and often beyond your awareness. Be wary of the power you surrender to institutions, whether they are governmental, religious or educational in nature.
Many of us have a foreboding sense that things are about to escalate in a big and nasty way. There are no less than three major geopolitical fires burning at the moment and not enough resources to cool them all down. Those who we have entrusted as “leaders” to be civil-minded and fair seem more determined to exploit current situations than find meaningful resolutions.
The question of nuclear warfare has come into discussion as of late. In my estimation, nuclear war is not anywhere near as profitable as the specter of nuclear war. So it’s not logical for that to happen. Still it’s creepy when one considers the level of sanity of those who are in position to make these decisions. The erroneous accusations hurled at Russia from people like Senator Dianne Feinstein and Secretary of State John Kerry only go further to aggravate an already tense situation regarding the recent downing of flight MH-17. Why would we taunt a world superpower in such a loosey-goosey, half-cocked way? -Strange times indeed.
I’m putting a tinfoil hat on now as I wrap up this article. Someone should really shape one of these into a handsome Fedora and sell them on the internet. I think they could make a fortune. Instead of being mocked by this symbol, maybe we could turn it into a rather striking fashion statement. Ralph Lauren probably won’t add it to their “purple label” line of fine clothing anytime soon, but heck, that shiny hat is looking better to me all the time.
-Until next time

Despite the furious efforts of the world’s Machiavellian destroyers, humanity is waking up. We’re seeing significant progress in exposing the ongoing brutal Gaza extermination, the mass revelation of chemtrails and other neo-scientific incursions, the disastrous effects of EMFs of every source, GMO food manipulation, tectronic surveillance and monitoring, and the front and center clearly induced global war and the militarization of society.
We’re in the thick of it now.
Don’t let these events and seeming contests of ideology throw you. There’s nothing level about this playing field, and the mass narrative is strongpropaganda. Don’t even listen to it. Rely on your heart and alternative sources. Their only weapon is our consent by yielding to their lies. Disinformation serves several purposes, the most insidious of which is to introduce doubt to your heartfelt conviction regarding the reality of what is obviously before you. Keeping the mass mind at bay is imperative to their program.
Why? If we woke up to the truth we’d stop our participation and/or rise up and overthrow them. And they know that.
Major Signs of Awakening
As mentioned above, there are many manifestations that the Truth is flooding in to human consciousness. What we collectively do with this information is one thing; what we individually do with it is the key. We either activate, or we don’t. The more who do, the greater the mass awakening. With or without the masses, the awakening is coming to pass anyway, come what may. That’s the wonderfully exciting reality. What the naysayers and foot draggers do with it is their business, and their demise if they choose wrongly to ignore what is more obvious by the minute.
That Israelis are sitting on a hill sipping drinks in their beach chairs cheering the slaughter of civilian Palestinians should send shivers up anyone’s spine. That a captive population is being mercilessly annihilated on any pretext should shock even the most hard of hearing soul. Yet the mainstream mediapounds its narrative of who the poor defenseless “good guys” are versus the obvious genocide and territory grab by an invading army.
Why not? The US has been doing this for decades, as have the Israelis. The conditioning runs deep. Literally mindfucked Amerikans are cheering just as avidly as is a swath of other similarly infected Canadians and Europeans and other mentally and spiritually disturbed Zionists around the world. The rest of the world sees it for what it is. A targeted slaughter and annihilation of something that’s in the way of another globalist maneuver for psychopaths to get what they want. And when it comes to the rabid Zionists everyone stands back. The puppet powers and similarly cowed populace don’t dare touch them. Zionist fingers are in every facet of today’s societal and governmental fabric. The world is afraid to confront them.
Yet the truth of this masqueraded massacre is for all to see. The onus is on humanity. And the alternative is becoming crystal clear.
Financial, Governmental and Mad Scientific Schemes are Increasingly Obvious
Besides the obviously engineered take down of the Middle East and now Ukraine, there are many other fronts this hurricane of Truth is eroding in the human psyche. The geoengineering of our climate, oceans and soil are also becoming painfully, for them, clear. As long as real information is available hungry souls will find it and be forced to process it.
We also clearly see the central banking system, the FED, and our manipulated financial structure being exposed. Sitting helplessly watching no longer becomes an option. Pulling out of their system is a given eventuality, and it’s happening, as it becomes more evident by the day that major governmental powers are run by bought-off crooks and stooges.
The geoengineering chemtrail scam, poisoning humanity from it’s skies for whatever pretense, is taking a serious beating as communication and committed activism exposing this global affront wears away the veneer of outright lies and denial of such an obvious phenomenon. Take a look at the recent results of sincere, concerned determination to bring this issue to the forefront of public awareness:
Our EMF Bombardment
Another insidious attack on our health and freedom is the electromagnetic assault on humanity, all in the guise of convenience, “conservation” and safety of course. Never mind the horrific surveillance invasion of our planet, the very presence of so many electromagnetic rays from so many man-made sources permeating our existence is one of the greatest threats to us, altering our genetic and physical make up and even influencing our thoughts and inherent impulses.
Besides France banning wi-fi in schools and Russia’s cellphone for youngsters prohibition, here’s just one example of the growing backlash under way:
Brazilian Courts order lower electromagnetic pollution
The Brazilian Judiciary determined to reduce the level of electromagnetic pollution generated by power lines to standard adopted by Swiss law (1.0 microtesla).
Two associations of residents in São Paulo — the largest city of Brazil — proposed the action. The plaintiff has pleaded to not be exposed to electromagnetic fields incompatible with the human health.
The electromagnetic fields generated by power lines that cross these areas is 10 times greater than the level determined by the court. The judgment of the Court of State of São Paulo (Tribunal de Justiça de São Paulo) has determined that the concessionaire of electric power reduces the electromagnetic field generated by power lines that pass through these neighborhoods. (Source)
The public outcry against genetically modified foods and the resultant use of the killer chemical glysophate has been front and center for quite a while. While the Monsanto dynasty and its network of affiliate chemical and distribution companies and ongoing governmental bribes and planted personnel continues its campaign, the rise against such infected food tyranny has been proportionally greater.
You just don’t mess with conscious people’s health. Period. And there are more of us by the minute.
Russia, China and a host of other nations are refusing to import GMO products. That this is so front and center in the public mind, whatever their entrained reflexive minds tell them, highlights this issue. Even more so in Amerika, whether to have these tampered with foods even labelled is appearing at their ballot boxes is keeping this subject front and center.
That’s pretty tough to ignore, even for the most brain dead, Brave New World “Epsilon” cretin out there.
The awakened civilization rolls on.
The List Continues
If you need further encouragement, get involved. You’ll see signs of it everywhere. Major inroads of Truth are being made by the minute as these disgusting forces continue to attempt to forge their desired goal of a subservient, complacent and even happily servile work force. Damn them, and do it with gusto.
Don’t be deceived, it’s all a wicked charade. A ploy, a scam: a counterfeit civilization they’re trying to construct that true conscious humanity is dissolving by the hour.
Disconnect – disobey – and de-enlist. Break your unconscious and conscious agreements. The parasites will shrivel up and disappear.
The time is now. It’s ours for the taking. And receiving.
Much love always, keep on, Zen

Based on the sheer amount of research studies available dating back to the 1950s on the association between industrial chemicals and neurobehavioral disorders – it makes sense that more recent studies are finally starting to emphasize the chemical/neurodevelopmental disorder connection. That is, additional links to keynotes seen in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD symptomology.
Many agricultural pesticides are, after all, neurotoxic – that’s how they work on eradicating the intended pest. While regulatory and corporate entities continue to espouse their safety, and while farmers are encouraged to wear protective gear – how are levels of chemical plume to be regulated for individuals who live right near application sites?
What about the effects on the developing fetus?
UC Davis researchers in tandem with MIND Institute found a connection between pregnant women living in close proximity of California pesticide applications and later diagnoses of ASD and other developmental delays.
The large, multi-site California-based study, published in Environmental Health Perspectives, examined associations between specific classes of pesticides like organophosphates, pyrethroids and carbamates that were applied during the study participants’ pregnancies and later diagnoses of autism and developmental delay in their offspring. The associations were stronger when the exposures occurred during the second and third trimesters of the women’s pregnancies.
Researchers focused on areas with the heaviest pesticide applications – Sacramento Valley, Central Valley and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. They examined commercial pesticide application using the California Pesticide Use Report and linked the data to the residential addresses of approximately 1,000 participants in the Northern California-based Childhood Risk of Autism from Genetics and the Environment (CHARGE) Study. The study includes families with children between 2 and 5 diagnosed with autism or developmental delay or with typical development.
Twenty-one chemical compounds were identified in the organophosphate class, including chlorpyrifos, acephate and diazinon. The second most commonly applied class of pesticides was pyrethroids, one quarter of which was esfenvalerate, followed by lambda-cyhalothrin permethrin, cypermethrin and tau-fluvalinate. Eighty percent of the carbamates were methomyl and carbaryl.
For the study, researchers used questionnaires to obtain study participants’ residential addresses during the pre-conception and pregnancy periods. The addresses then were overlaid on maps with the locations of agricultural chemical application sites based on the pesticide-use reports to determine residential proximity. The study also examined which participants were exposed to which agricultural chemicals.
Principal investigator Irva Hertz-Picciotto said:
We mapped where our study participants’ lived during pregnancy and around the time of birth. In California, pesticide applicators must report what they’re applying, where they’re applying it, dates when the applications were made and how much was applied.
What we saw were several classes of pesticides more commonly applied near residences of mothers whose children developed autism or had delayed cognitive or other skills.
In the duration of this study, it was determined that one-third of CHARGE Study participants lived within one mile of commercial pesticide application sites. The ASD associations were greater for mothers living closer to application sites, and lessened the farther away they lived.
Organophosphates applied during the full course of pregnancy signaled greater risk of a child’s ASD diagnosis – especially for chlorpyrifos applications in the second trimester; Pyrethroids were moderately associated with autism spectrum disorder immediately before conception and in the third trimester; and Carbamates applied during pregnancy were associated with developmental delay.
They found that because the pesticides are neurotoxic, in utero exposures during early development could distort the complex processes of structural development and neuronal signaling, producing alterations to the excitation and inhibition mechanisms that govern mood, learning, social interactions and behavior – keynotes of ASD and those associated with ADHD symptomology.
In that early developmental gestational period, the brain is developing synapses, the spaces between neurons, where electrical impulses are turned into neurotransmitting chemicals that leap from one neuron to another to pass messages along. The formation of these junctions is really important and may well be where these pesticides are operating and affecting neurotransmission.
She notes the difficulty in reducing this type of risk, wishing for the open dialogue of ASD-risk and chemical exposures at both the societal and individual level, and emphasizing pre-natal nutrition. Her name appears on a lot of similar studies – perhaps this is what prompted her to say that she herself would not want her family to live near where pesticides are applied.

The U.S. is far behind when it comes to drug laws that actually make sense.
While people in Barcelona, Spain are lighting joints up on the street outside of bars as tourists flock to enjoy a marijuana culture that increasing rivals Amsterdam, the U.S. continues it’s prohibitionist path. While Israel’s government sanctions its researchers’ advancements into the science of marijuana medicine, the U.S. government obstructs any research into pot’s potential benefits.
While many Americans remain stuck in the Nixon-era “war on drugs” mentality, panicking about the “unknown dangers” and “potential risks” of loosening marijuana policy, many nations have already implemented health-based, sensible marijuana laws and practices with overwhelming success.
In the U.S. today, 23 states have legalized medical marijuana (New York just this month) and two (Colorado and Washington) have legalized pot for recreational use (although it’s worth noting that in many states medical marijuana laws are severely restricted). The majority of American medical doctors think medical marijuana should be legal and the majority of American voters think it should be legal and regulated like alcohol. However, it remains safe to say the U.S. is not at the global forefront of progressive, sensible marijuana policy.
The federal government continues its stubborn prohibition of the herb, and law enforcement continues to arrest people for mere possession of the plant, targeting low-income minorities at alarming rates. Our prisons are overflowing with nonviolent drug law violators, and American tax dollars, which pay to house, feed and clothe those unnecessary prisoners, are filling the pockets of private prison tycoons who profit from keeping the prisons and jails filled to capacity.
Our current president laughs when he’s offered a hit of marijuana and told the New Yorker the stuff is less dangerous than alcohol. He said, in reference to pot use, “We should not be locking up kids or individual users for long stretches of jail time when some of the folks who are writing those laws have probably done the same thing.” However, his administration has overseen more marijuana-related arrests than any before. He has the worst reputation of any U.S. president in history when it comes to prisoner clemency, which includes pardons and commutation of sentences. To date, he’s only issued 39 pardons, while more than 100,000 people remain behind bars in the U.S. due to drug war policies.
The U.S. houses a quarter of the world’s inmates, though we only account for 5 percent of the world’s population. Nonviolent drug offenders make up more than a quarter of all inmates in the U.S., up from less than 10 percent in 1980.
In 2011, drug offenders accounted for 48 percent of the federal prisoner population and 16 percent of the state prisoner population. Half of all of those people are incarcerated for marijuana-related crimes, according to the Sentencing Project. More than 3,200 of these prisoners are serving life sentences for nonviolent offenses.
While the US has made some great strides toward better drug policy—in the form of medical marijuana and the socio-economic miracle that is Colorado and Washington’s pot legalization—it’s we are far behind much of the rest of the world when it comes to drug laws that actually make sense. While our representatives twiddle their thumbs over pot, and prohibitionists act like health-based drug regulations are the Boogeyman, some other parts of the world enjoy the enormous benefits of more tolerant policies and attitudes.
Here is a list of countries where drug policies make a lot more sense than they do in the US:
While the US’s officials and media continue to pretend like pot legalization is an unprecedented, far-fetched dream, in Spain, personal marijuana has been legal for decades. Today Barcelona is en route to challenge Amsterdam as the world center of pot tourism. In Spain anyone is allowed to grow the herb for personal use, and—echoing California’s rules for medical marijuana use—growers can form collective, nonprofit, members-only cannabis clubs. However, due to lax enforcement of the members-only rule, Barcelona has been filling up with cannabis clubs in recent years. As theNew York Times’ Suzanne Daley reported in a July 10 article, “Barcelona officials have given their blessing to this new phenomenon. … The number of cannabis clubs that have opened in Barcelona recently has some experts saying this city will soon challenge Amsterdam as the go-to destination for vacationers who want to get high in peace.”
Daley reported that the pot clubs provide an economic boost, according to advocates.
“Though they are nonprofits, advocates say the clubs are generating thousands of jobs and tax revenues for the state. In addition to selling a wide array of cannabis products and hashish, many of the clubs also sell food and drinks and offer extras to their members, like live music nights and Pilates classes.”
Right now our Congress is attempting to block our nation’s capitol from treating pot like a parking violation rather than a criminal offense, despite the local D.C. government’s vote to do so. Meanwhile, Portugal has enjoyed the benefits of all-out drug decriminalization for over a decade. Portugal became the first nation in Europe to decriminalized personal possession of drugs–including marijuana, cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine–in 2001. Decriminalization means those drugs remain illegal, but instead of throwing people in jail for their use, the country imposes a fine similar to a traffic ticket and provides addiction treatment options. By removing criminal penalties for drug use, the nation was able to fund the resources necessary to treat drug addiction as the health crisis that it is. Today in Portugal if you’re convicted of possessing small amounts of drugs, you visit a psychologist, social worker and legal advisor who determine what kind of treatment you need. Prior to decriminalization, Portugal had a serious drug problem, but over the last decade the nation has seen a decline in drug use. João Castel-Branco Goulão, Portugal’s national drug coordinator and the chairman of the European Monitoring Center on Drugs and Drug Addiction, wrote in the New York Times:
“While critics of the law warned that drug use would swell, it has not risen. We have seen significant reductions in H.I.V. infections and in overdoses, as well as a substantial increase in new patients seeking drug treatment.”
The amount of money and resources the nation has saved on law enforcement and housing prisoners due to decriminalization is also significant.
While the Great White North does not allow marijuana for recreational purposes anywhere, it has a nationwide, heavily corporatized, government-sanctioned medical marijuana program. About 20 companies are licenced to mass-produce cannabis in Canada for medical purposes. As the New York Times reported, one large cannabis grow operation calls a former Hershey’s candy factory its home. In April, a change in the nation’s marijuana laws made it so that any licensed company can grow and ship medical pot to patients. (However, it is still illegal in Canada for patients to grow their own pot.)
In addition to the substantial economic boost that comes from the new market, the Canadian government probably took the stacks of convincing research on cannabis’s potential health benefits into account in its decision to allow large scale medical marijuana production and distribution. South of the border, the U.S. government both refuses to officially acknowledge the medical efficacy of marijuana and actively works to block research into the plant’s potential medical uses.
While medical marijuana has been approved in 23 U.S. states, and recreational use in two, U.S. federal law still criminalizes the drug, and its future remains uncertain. In Israel, however, a $40-million-per-year medical-marijuana industry is thriving. And, while research efforts have been continually hindered in the states by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the DEA, the Israeli government is funding and supporting breakthrough research on the many healing potentials of the cannabis plant–from cancer, to addiction, to psychological traumas. Israel’s federal government sanctions their national medical marijuana program and does not get in the way of scientific research like the US government does.
According to a new report by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Iceland (of all places) smokes the most weed in the world, on average. The report, which included a breakdown of illegal drug use per country, found that 18.3% of the Icelandic population (meaning 55,000 out of 320,000 people) smokes weed—more than anywhere else. The United States ranked fourth in the report, with 14.8 percent of the population using pot.
The reasons for Iceland’s toking tendencies are up for speculation, as Iceland still outlaws pot. It could be that, since the Nordic nation prohibited beer until 1989, everyone turned to bud instead (easier to produce, maybe?). Whatever the reasons for its infatuation, Icelanders’ underwraps cannabis use (mixed with its vast and beautiful landscapes) is probably the reason they were found to be one of the happiest populations on the planet.
Surprisingly, cannabis remains illegal in the Netherlands. It might as well be legal the way people openly smoke pot on the streets. The Dutch government and law enforcement are extremely tolerant of the herb and possession small amounts is decriminalized nationwide. Two million tourists per year visit the city of Amsterdam for its legendary “coffee shops,” which are licensed to sell weed. You’re not allowed, however, to buy your bud on the streets, and coffee shops do card. Purchases are also supposed to be limited to five grams a day (though enforcement of this rule is iffy) and smoking tobacco is banned in coffee shops, so spliffs are rare.
Sure beats risking jail time just to light up or access your doctor-recommended cannabis medicine, which is the reality for many in the US.
The violence illegal drug cartels inflict in Latin America is a humanitarian crisis so horrendous that it has driven millions of child refugees to the US-Mexico border in recent months. And, since it is the most popular illicit drug in the world, marijuana means big profits for those cartels. In response to increasing drug trafficking activity and violence, Uruguay became the first nation to legalize marijuana across the board, in December 2013. It did so in an effort to undermine the powerful cartels that have ravished much of the rest of Latin America. While Uruguay is relatively safe compared with the rest of the region—especially Mexico, where it is estimated that more than 60,000 people were killed in just six years (between 2007 and 2013) and gruesome intimidation, like public beheadings, is commonplace—its government decided to nip the problem in the bud, so to speak. The plan in Uruguay is to set government weed prices extremely low so that cartels will be forced out of business. While many had hoped to see Uruguay’s pot sales start this year, President Jose Mujica announced this month that complications in implementing the law have delayed sales until 2015.
While Uruguay’s reasons for legalization might seem more immediate than those of the US, the issues are actually one. Latin American cartels rely on American buyers for a huge portion of their business, so legalization of pot in the US would (among many other benefits) directly combat the brutality that is the Central and South American drug trade (and ultimately reduce the influx of migrant refugees in the US).
8. The Majority of Nations in Central and South America
In Central America, Mexico and Costa Rica have decriminalized marijuana, and—other than Bolivia, Argentina, Guyana, Surinam and French Guiana—all of South America has also decriminalized. The Latin American decriminalization trend emerged out of frustration over the failure of harsh drug laws to crack down on cartels or slow the drug trade whatsoever. The decision also stems from a need to reduce over-crowded, increasingly expensive prison populations, which were becoming unsustainable in the region.
The issue of prison overcrowding is one the US is all too familiar with, seeing as how we have a quarter of the world’s total inmates but just five percent of of the world’s population. As in Latin America, most US prisoners are serving time for drug-related crimes. While private prison companies in the US rake in massive profits from keeping prisons brimming over with nonviolent inmates, Americans lose billions in tax dollars to unnecessary incarceration.
However, while Americans fuel the powerful Latin American drug cartels by purchasing their products, we are kept relatively sheltered from the violence and destruction the drug trade inflicts. The lack of immediacy is probably part of the reason we’ve been so slow to catch onto the decriminalization–and legalization–trends.
9. North Korea (maybe)
While it is not officially confirmed, according to a report by Open Radio North Korea, as well as other news outlets and visitor reports, marijuana (along with opium) has never been controlled in the country and is not considered to be a drug. While the North Korean penalty for hard drugs like meth is severe, people are allowed to smoke pot without regulation–it even grows freely on the side of the street.
As Vice reported,
“NK NEWS receives regular reports from visitors returning from North Korea, who tell us of marijuana plants growing freely along the roadsides, from the northern port town of Chongjin, right down to the streets of Pyongyang, where it is smoked freely and its sweet scent often catches your nostrils unannounced. Our sources are people we know who work inside North Korea and make regular trips in and out of the country.
There is no taboo around pot smoking in the country—many residents know the drug exists and have smoked it. In North Korea, the drug goes by the name of ip tambae, or ‘leaf tobacco.’ It is reported to be especially popular amongst young soldiers in the North Korean military. Rather than getting hooked on tar and nicotine like servicemen in the West, they are able to unwind by lighting up a king-sized bone during down time on the military beat.”

Are microwaves a benign bastion of convenience or a sinister contributor to biological and nutritional damage? A growing percentage of people are now heeding the advice of holistic health experts and disposing of their microwaves due to the dangers of microwaved food. Regardless of where you stand, humans are the only animals on the planet who destroy the nutritional value of their food before eating it, and the use of microwaves is no exception.
Microwaves are a source of electromagnetic energy (a form of nonionizing form of radiation) electronically generated. When penetrating the aliments, they trigger an inner rotation of the water molecules inside the food. This rotation triggers a friction between the molecules and the result is a rapid growth in temperature.
Microwaves use super-fast particles to literally radiate the contents of water inside food and bring it to boil. Not only has microwave use been linked to causing infertility in men, but it also denatures many of the essential proteins in the food making them virtually indigestible.
Most animals will only consume food in its natural, unprocessed state, but humans actually go out of their way to render food nutritionally worthless before eating it. Think about all the prepackaged and processed foods we purchase and consume annually. It’s no wonder the state of our health is in dire straits.
Microwave ovens work physically, biochemically and physiologically, producing ions and various free radicals, which destroy viruses and bacteria, but not toxins and microtoxins. The experts have concluded that food cooked in microwaves loses between 60% and 90% of its vital energy and, at the same time, the structural disintegration processes accelerates. Also, the nutrient substances are altered, leading to digestive diseases. These microwaves can increase both the number of cancerous cells in blood and the number of stomach and intestinal cancerous cells.
Microwaves leaking radiation is a serious issue. Serious enough for the FDA to set legal limits on the leakage permitted by every microwave manufacturer. However, the only way to completely eliminate the radiation dangers associated with microwaves is not to use one. Microwave radiation has been known to cause cataracts, birth defects, cancer and other serious illnesses.
Because of these causes the microwave ovens were banned in the Soviet Union in 1976. Soviet scientists found that the microwave exposure decreases the ability of some vitamins to by absorbed by the human body, dramatically accelerates the structural disintegration of all foods and reduces the metabolic stress of the alkaloids, glycosides and galactoses.
In 1991, the Swiss Doctor Hans Ulrich Hertel made a study that demonstrated that cooking or heating food presents much greater risks for health than the traditionally cooked food. He found that people who ate microwave prepared food recorded losses in the hemoglobines and lymphoites.
In 2003, a Spanish governmental study elaborated in Murcia demonstrated that the vegetables and fruits cooked in a microwave lost a percentage of 97% of the substances that contribute to reducing the incidence of coronary heart diseases.
In Dr. Lita Lee’s book, Health Effects of Microwave Radiation — Microwave Ovens, and in the March and September 1991 issues of Earthletter, she stated that every microwave oven leaks electro-magnetic radiation, harms food, and converts substances cooked in it to dangerous organ-toxic and carcinogenic products.
In Comparative Study of Food Prepared Conventionally and in the Microwave Oven, published by Raum & Zelt in 1992, at 3(2): 43, it states:
“Artificially produced microwaves, including those in ovens, are produced from alternating current and force a billion or more polarity reversals per second in every food molecule they hit. Production of unnatural molecules is inevitable. Naturally occurring amino acids have been observed to undergo isomeric changes (changes in shape morphing) as well as transformation into toxic forms, under the impact of microwaves produced in ovens.”
There are no atoms, molecules or cells of any organic system able to withstand such a violent, destructive power for any extended period of time, not even in the low energy range of milliwatts. Microwaves quickly destroy the delicate molecules of vitamins and phytonutrients (plant medicines) naturally found in foods. One study showed that microwaving vegetables destroys up to 97% of the nutritional content (vitamins and other plant-based nutrients that prevent disease, boost immune function and enhance health).
Dr. Hertel was the first scientist to conceive and carry out a quality clinical study on the effects microwaved nutrients have on the blood and physiology of the human body. His small but well controlled study showed the degenerative force produced in microwave ovens and the food processed in them. The scientific conclusion showed that microwave cooking changed the nutrients in the food; and, changes took place in the participants’ blood that could cause deterioration in the human system. Hertel’s scientific study was done along with Dr. Bernard H. Blanc of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and the University Institute for Biochemistry.
12 Enumerated Effects of Microwaves
1. A breakdown of the human “life-energy field” in those who were exposed to microwave ovens while in operation, with side-effects to the human energy field of increasingly longer duration;
2. A degeneration of the cellular voltage parallels during the process of using the apparatus, especially in the blood and lymphatic areas;
3. A degeneration and destabilization of the external energy activated potentials of food utilization within the processes of human metabolism;
4. A degeneration and destabilization of internal cellular membrane potentials while transferring catabolic [metabolic breakdown] processes into the blood serum from the digestive process;
5. Degeneration and circuit breakdowns of electrical nerve impulses within the junction potentials of the cerebrum [the front portion of the brain where thought and higher functions reside];
6. A degeneration and breakdown of nerve electrical circuits and loss of energy field symmetry in the neuroplexuses [nerve centers] both in the front and the rear of the central and autonomic nervous systems;
7. Loss of balance and circuiting of the bioelectric strengths within the ascending reticular activating system [the system which controls the function of consciousness];
8. A long term cumulative loss of vital energies within humans, animals and plants that were located within a 500-meter radius of the operational equipment;
9. Long lasting residual effects of magnetic “deposits” were located throughout the nervous system and lymphatic system;
10. A destabilization and interruption in the production of hormones and maintenance of hormonal balance in males and females;
11. Markedly higher levels of brainwave disturbance in the alpha, theta, and delta wave signal patterns of persons exposed to microwave emission fields, and;
12. Because of this brainwave disturbance, negative psychological effects were noted, including loss of memory, loss of ability to concentrate, suppressed emotional threshold, deceleration of intellective processes, and interruptive sleep episodes in a statistically higher percentage of individuals subjected to continual range emissive field effects of microwave apparatus, either in cooking apparatus or in transmission stations.
Take a look around you at every person that still uses a microwave. The largest majority are unhealthy and overweight. The more you use the microwave, the worse your nutritional state gets, and the more likely you are to be diagnosed with various diseases and put on pharmaceuticals which, of course, will create other health problems that lead to a grand spiraling nosedive of health.
Of all the natural substances — which are polar — the oxygen of water molecules reacts most sensitively. This is how microwave cooking heat is generated — friction from this violence in water molecules. Structures of molecules are torn apart, molecules are forcefully deformed, called structural isomerism, and thus become impaired in quality. This is contrary to conventional heating of food where heat transfers convectionally from without to within. Cooking by microwaves begins within the cells and molecules where water is present and where the energy is transformed into frictional heat.
The following is a summary of the Russian investigations published by the Atlantis Raising Educational Center in Portland, Oregon:
- Microwaving prepared meats sufficiently to insure sanitary ingestion caused formation of d-Nitrosodienthanolamines, a well-known carcinogen.
- Microwaving milk and cereal grains converted some of their amino acids into carcinogens.
- Thawing frozen fruits converted their glucoside and galactoside containing fractions into carcinogenic substances.
- Extremely short exposure of raw, cooked or frozen vegetables converted their plant alkaloids into carcinogens.
- Carcinogenic free radicals were formed in microwaved plants, especially root vegetables.
Russian researchers also reported a marked acceleration of structural degradation leading to a decreased food value of 60 to 90% in all foods tested. Among the changes observed were:
- Deceased bio-availability of vitamin B complex, vitamin C, vitamin E, essential minerals and lipotropics factors in all food tested.
- Various kinds of damaged to many plant substances, such as alkaloids, glucosides, galactosides and nitrilosides.
According to Dr. Lee, changes are observed in the blood chemistries and the rates of certain diseases among consumers of microwaved foods. The symptoms above can easily be caused by the observations shown below. The following is a sample of these changes:
a.. Lymphatic disorders were observed, leading to decreased ability to prevent certain types of cancers.
b.. An increased rate of cancer cell formation was observed in the blood.
c.. Increased rates of stomach and intestinal cancers were observed.
d.. Higher rates of digestive disorders and a gradual breakdown of the systems of elimination were observed.
Decrease in Food Value
Microwave exposure caused significant decreases in the nutritive value of all foods researched. The following are the most important findings:
1. A decrease in the bioavailability [capability of the body to utilize the nutriment] of B-complex vitamins, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, essential minerals and lipotropics in all foods;
2. A loss of 60-90% of the vital energy field content of all tested foods;
3. A reduction in the metabolic behavior and integration process capability of alkaloids [organic nitrogen based elements], glucosides and galactosides, and nitrilosides;
4. A destruction of the nutritive value of nucleoproteins in meats;
5. A marked acceleration of structural disintegration in all foods.
How Do You Heat Your Food The Healthy Way
This is kind of a misnomer because there is truthfully, with perhaps the exception of dehydration, no way to heat food and maintain its structural and nutritional value. However, gently heating food in a cast iron pan over the stove may be the healthiest alternative to nuking it. This is the old fashioned way and it never failed our ancestors.
Toss that microwave and strive to consume at least half of your diet from raw foods, that is a huge step in the right direction to maintain their nutritional value. My mother always used to tell me that if food comes from a package, or has to be heated to be eaten, there’s a good a chance it’s low in nutrition. She was right for the most part, so keep that in mind when venturing the aisles at the grocery.

Public water fluoridation is one of the most controversial topics today. The people who are advocates for water fluoridation, claim that adding this substance to the public water is beneficial to the community’s dental health because it hardens the enamel on teeth protecting it from acid and bacteria, making it easier for people to brush away oral bacteria and prevent tooth decay.
It’s also claimed that research shows that fluoridated water reduces a population’s rate of tooth decay between 40-70%.
However, when it comes to the “protective layer” that’s created by fluoride, studies conducted by Saarland University in Germany (published by Langmuir) shows that the “protective layer” is not actually useful. In fact, it’s 100 times thinner than it was previously believed, and that it’s actually 6 nanometers thick. An everyday activity like chewing food is enough to disintegrate this layer created by fluoride.
Other evidence suggests that countries with and without public fluoridated water, all have declining rates of tooth decay, so is medicating the public really worth it?
There is further evidence suggesting that fluoridated water is more harmful to human health than it is beneficial. Scientists and many health care professionals are calling for more research to be conducted on the matter and for the public to inform themselves.
Fluoride activists always claim that the public has seen a huge decline in tooth decay since the 1950s. (Recently many counties in the US have called for public water fluoridation hoping to better the oral health of low income families in the areas.) What many don’t realize is that this is a empty claim. A quick search on the WHO website shows that countries that do and that do not fluoridate their water have both seen a decline in tooth decay in minors. The U.S. fluoridates two-thirds of their public water and it still has higherrates of tooth decay than countries that do not fluoridate their water (like Belgium, Denmark, Sweden for an example).
To date there have been more than 23 studies on humans, and over 100 studies on animals linking the consumption of fluoride to brain damage.
Research shows that some negative effects on the brain and body are linked to fluoride consumption. For instance, damage to the hippocampus, weakened antioxidant defense systems, suppressed immune system, GI disorders: damaged/lower levels of collagen, causes skin rashes, effects movement of whiteblood cells (up to 60-70% , decreasing the ability for the WBC to reach their target), damage to purkinje cells, shown to trigger osteoporosis/bone cancer and also consuming fluoride results in a damaged (heavily calcified/blocked) pineal gland.
The pineal gland is a small organ in the brain located in the center of the brain which looks like a miniature pine cone. The third eye and pineal gland has been referenced (as a pine cone) in many ancient artwork and cultures, Egyptian eye of Horus, pine cone on top of Buddhas head, pine cone on the popes staff, pine cone in sculpture form at the Vatican, and with many others. Studies have shown that the soft tissue on the pineal gland had more fluoride present than any other soft tissues on the body and also had more fluoride than teeth and bones. Basically, the pineal gland is a magnet to fluoride!

In 1944, the ADA stated that ingesting water containing as little as 1.2ppm fluoride will and does cause unpleasant interferences with cognitive development. In China, research has proven that children who live in high-fluoride areas have a lower IQ than those children who live in low-fluoride areas.
When children consume fluoride, 50% of it is delivered to the bones, causing weaker bones. Also, slightly over 40% of fluorosis in American children is caused by excess fluoride.
Fluoride is listed as “toxic waste” but regardless of this, it’s still added into the public water, which both children and adults consume in amounts not administered in measured dosages. If you look at the back of your regular ol’fluoridated tooth paste, the warning label very clear states, (along the lines of) “if swallowed, please contact the poison control immediately,” even if the amount is pea sized.
In the United States, the public is told that there is literally nothing to worry about and that water with added fluoride is safe and beneficial to our oral health. However, over 90 percent of European countries think the opposite, having banned the chemical and written it off as “unsafe” and “dangerous”. There have been no reports of any rises in dental health problems in countries that do not fluoridate their water. What raises a few more red flags is that not only have many countries banned public water fluoridation, pointing out that fluoride is useless to oral health, and it is more damaging to overall bodily health.
The first time in history when fluoride was added in water was during Hitlers rein and it was used to dumb down prisoners and weaken their will to resist.
Towards the end of his career American biochemist Dr. Dean Burk did an interview on public television in Europe stating that “public water fluoridation is public murder.” A study done on the 10 largest cities with fluoridation compared to the 10 largest cities without fluoridation has shown that just as little as two years after public water fluoridation was introduced to the water supply, that cancer diagnosis and cancer death rates rose dramatically (in the cities with fluoridation).
In more recent years, adjunct professor of environmental health at Harvard, P. Grandjean stated that ‘”fluoride seems to fit in with lead, mercury, and other poisons that cause chemical brain drain. The effect of each toxicant may seem small, but the combined damage on a population scale can be serious, especially because the brain power of the next generation is crucial to all of us.”
Many people are are calling for more studies to be done on what impact fluoride has on the human brain, (especially on the developing brain) and the overall bodily health. There has also been a rise in awareness as over 100,000 US health care officials and researchers have signed a petition for more awareness and studies to be conducted on the matter.
In conclusion, isn’t brain development and overall health more important than a pretty smile? Also shouldn’t the public have the right to chose whether to be medicated or not? Shouldn’t we have the option to opt out of water fluoridation, choosing for ourselves what is in the best interest of our health?

Living in this day and age where there are so many obvious changes and shifts on the planet through the weather upheavals, occupy movements, continual wars throughout the globe, coupled with the emotional instability of many in the nation, it is also true that many of us are waking up to something greater within ourselves. Perhaps you, too, have had unexplained experiences with the paranormal, time travel, out of body experiences, and the like and wish there was a place to get some answers. Following is a brief story and explanation of what is called a “parallel” reality. It is my hope that this article and others on my site help you understand the strange and mysterious.
West Side Story’s Many Sides
When I was around 12 years old, the movie premiere of the critically acclaimed theatrical production of “West Side Story” with Natalie Wood, Richard Beymer, Russ Tamblyn, and Rita Moreno, was set to air on one of the local TV stations for the very first time. (This must have been in the mid 60′s as the true USA premiere was in 1961 in New York City.) My parents wanted the whole family to sit and watch the premiere together. They were so excited, telling the five of us how much we will love this movie, how wonderful it is, and ‘we are in for a treat.’ We were planning one of our movie nights, sitting together on the dense wool carpeted floor of our living room with our snacks of chips and cookies. My parents and the household overall kept the momentum throughout the day in preparation for this major event with one exception. Me.
Earlier in the day, floods of memories and total recall that we had already viewed this film began to fuel a strange dance between my parents and myself. Strangely, as I stood there arguing with my parents this fact, I could recall the entire movie’s plot line, visuals, story and dancing routines. Never having been to New York City in my life to see the theatrical version, it was impossible for me to have known this level of detail from the film. My parents were growing angrier and angrier at my insistence and I was growing more and more irate and angry at their lack of memory at their young ages. Truly, the concept that we had not seen the film did not occur to me at the time. I only knew what was real and true in my reality to me. The simple fact that they failed to remember this ‘monumental event’ was not my concern at the age of 12. After hearing over and over the words “that’s impossible this is the world premiere” and “what is wrong with you?”, the argumentative conversation finally dwindled to me succumbing to their belief that I was completely wrong.
It is time to cease caving into the limited tribal mindset around
the paranormal world, and phenomena i.e.,
parallel dimensional realities, time travel,
out of body experiences, remote viewing, bi-location and so on.
Years later I wondered if they thought I was going insane at that time of my life. During the movie, after settling down and ‘behaving’ once again, I heard their minced oath, “Thank Goodness you have stopped all this nonsense.” This showed me they feared something within me – perhaps a simple fear of the unknown – nonetheless I knew it was not a safe place in which to explore these deeper inner mysteries and it took several years before I came up with answers.
During that same time period I had a mental block around being able to tell analog time. (Digital clocks were non-existent in everyday households.) Coincidentally, during this same period of time, after dinner Mom would clear the plates and I was made to remain at the table and tell the time on the clock, a clock with only four digits showing and carved out of a large strangely shaped lump of wood covered with tons of glossy shellac. During this ritual I was repeatedly asked to report the time in which I stammered and could not answer correctly. My inability to tell the time was a growing concern for them as well. To this day I still have difficulty looking at an analog clock and telling the time. If someone asks me “What time is it?” I freeze up and look down at my watch and if its analog I take this long pause before giving the time, and sometimes I am incorrect.
What has had me wondering over the years, are two things:
Zone of Consciousness
Regarding time in and of itself (which by the way, is an interesting concept – time in and of itself), could time be relative to which you-niverse we choose to exist in at one time singularity? Is there such a thing as a time singularity or present-tense? Let alone a past-tense or future-tense? And if so, is it a type of zone of consciousness, i.e., a time zone of consciousness, that we choose to accept as our reality in the moment? And if no one else is there in the forest when a tree falls, does it make a sound? An illuminating discourse is presented through Mr. Michael Lockwood entitled The Labyrinth of Time: Introducing the Universe where he states:
“When looking up the subject of multiple universes I came upon the explanation: Multiverse: The multiverse [or meta-universe (metaverse)] is the hypothetical set of multiple possible universes (including our universe) that together comprise all of reality. The different universes within the multiverse are sometimes called parallel universes. The structure of the multiverse, the nature of each universe within it and the relationship between the various constituent universes, depend on the specific multiverse hypothesis considered.” SOURCE: WIKIPEDIA
Parallel universes really do exist, according to a mathematical discovery by Oxford scientists that sweeps away one of the key objections to the mind boggling and controversial idea. Science fiction looks closer to becoming science fact, reports Roger Highfield.
The work has wider implications since the idea of parallel universes sidesteps one of the key problems with time travel. Ever since it was given serious lab cred in 1949 by the great logician Kurt Gödel, many eminent physicists have argued against time travel because it undermines ideas of cause and effect to create paradoxes: a time traveller could go back to kill his grandfather so that he is never born in the first place.
But the existence of parallel worlds offers a way around these troublesome paradoxes, according to David Deutsch of Oxford University (whom I would love to meet one day), a highly respected proponent of quantum theory, the deeply mathematical, successful and baffling theory of the atomic world.
He argues that time travel shifts between different branches of reality, basing his claim on parallel universes, the so-called “many-worlds” formulation of quantum theory.
The new work bolsters his claim that quantum theory does not forbid time travel. “It does sidestep it. You go into another universe,” he said yesterday, though he admits that there is still a way to go to find schemes to manipulate space and time in a way that makes time hops possible.**
“Many sci-fi authors suggested time travel paradoxes would be solved by parallel universes but in my work, that conclusion is deduced from quantum theory itself”, Dr Deutsch said, referring to his work on many worlds.
The mathematical idea of parallel worlds was first glimpsed by the great quantum pioneer, Erwin Schrodinger, but actually published in 1957 by Hugh Everett III, when wrestling with the problem of what actually happens when an observation is made of something of interest – such as an electron or an atom – with the intention of measuring its position or its speed.
In the traditional brand of quantum mechanics, a mathematical object called a wave function, which contains all possible outcomes of a measurement experiment, “collapses” to give a single real outcome.
“… the universe is constantly and infinitely splitting,
so that no collapse takes place.”Everett came up with a more audacious interpretation: the universe is constantly and infinitely splitting, so that no collapse takes place. Every possible outcome of an experimental measurement occurs, each one in a parallel universe.
If one accepts Everett’s interpretation, our universe is embedded in an infinitely larger and more complex structure called the multiverse, which as a good approximation can be regarded as an ever-multiplying mass of parallel universes.
Every time there is an event at the quantum level – a radioactive atom decaying, for example, or a particle of light impinging on your retina – the universe is supposed to “split” into different universes.
A motorist who has a near miss, for instance, might feel relieved at his lucky escape. But in a parallel universe, another version of the same driver will have been killed. Yet another universe will see the motorist recover after treatment in hospital. The number of alternative scenarios is endless.
In this way, the “many worlds” interpretation of quantum mechanics allows a time traveller to alter the past without producing problems such as the notorious grandfather paradox.
“…there is infinite structure in what appears to be chaos.”But the “many worlds” idea has been attacked, with one theoretician joking that it is “cheap on assumptions but expensive on universes” and others that it is “repugnant to common sense.” ["Common sense"[?] or perhaps “Divine Sense” as in, “there is infinite structure in what appears to be chaos” i.e., chaos does not exist, as there is only Z integer (or the Z – ion (particle) … to me, this is the most simplest and most elegant of all explanations. This, in my opinion, fits with Max Tegmark’s explanation of the law of parsimony, or Occam’s Razor as it relates to multiple universes.]
Now new research confirms Prof Deutsch’s ideas and suggests that Dr Everett, who was a Phd student at Princeton University when he came up with the theory, was on the right track.
Commenting in New Scientist magazine, Prof. Andy Albrecht, a physicist at the University of California, Davis, said of the link between probability and many worlds: “This work will go down as one of the most important developments in the history of science.”
Quantum mechanics describes the strange things that happen in the subatomic world – such as the way photons and electrons behave both as particles and waves. By one interpretation, nothing at the subatomic scale can really be said to exist until it is observed.
Until then, particles occupy nebulous “superposition” states, in which they can have simultaneous “up” and “down” spins, or appear to be in different places at the same time.
According to quantum mechanics, unobserved particles are described by “wave functions” representing a set of multiple “probable” states. When an observer makes a measurement, the particle then settles down into one of these multiple options.
But the many worlds idea offers an alternative view. Dr Deutsch showed mathematically that the bush-like branching structure created by the universe splitting into parallel versions of itself can explain the probabilistic nature of quantum outcomes. This work was attacked but it has now had rigorous confirmation by David Wallace and Simon Saunders, also at Oxford.
Dr Saunders, who presented the work with Wallace at the Many Worlds at 50 conference at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Canada, told New Scientist: “We’ve cleared up the obscurities and come up with a pretty clear verdict that Everett works. It’s a dramatic turnaround and it means that people now have to discuss Everett seriously.”
Dr Deutsch added that the work addresses a three-century-old problem with the idea of probability itself, described by one philosopher, Prof David Papineau, as a scandal. “We didn’t really know what probability means,” said Dr Deutsch.
There’s a convention that it’s rational to treat it for most purposes as if we knew it was going to happen even though we actually know it need not. But this does not capture the reality, not least the 0.1 per cent chance something will not happen.
“So,” said Dr Deutsch, “the problems of probability, which were until recently considered the principal objection to the otherwise extremely elegant theory of Everett (which removes every element of mysticism and double-talk that have crept into quantum theory over the decades) have now turned into its principal selling point.” SOURCE: TELEGRAPH UK
Critics argue that to postulate usually unobservable universes just to explain our universe seems contrary to Occam’s razor.
“A skeptic worries about all the information necessary to specify all those unseen worlds. But an entire ensemble is often much simpler than one of its members. This principle can be stated more formally using the notion of algorithmic information content. The algorithmic information content in a number is, roughly speaking, the length of the shortest computer program that will produce that number as output. For example, consider the set of all integers. Which is simpler, the whole set or just one number? Naively, you might think that a single number is simpler, but the entire set can be generated by quite a trivial computer program, whereas a single number can be hugely long. Therefore, the whole set is actually simpler. Similarly, the set of all solutions to Einstein’s field equations is simpler than a specific solution. The former is described by a few equations, whereas the latter requires the specification of vast amounts of initial data on some hypersurface. The lesson is that complexity increases when we restrict our attention to one particular element in an ensemble, thereby losing the symmetry and simplicity that were inherent in the totality of all the elements taken together. In this sense, the higher-level multiverses are simpler. Going from our universe to the Level I multiverse eliminates the need to specify initial conditions, upgrading to Level II eliminates the need to specify physical constants, and the Level IV multiverse eliminates the need to specify anything at all.” He continues “A common feature of all four multiverse levels is that the simplest and arguably most elegant theory involves parallel universes by default. To deny the existence of those universes, one needs to complicate the theory by adding experimentally unsupported processes and ad hoc postulates: finite space, wave function collapse and ontological asymmetry. Our judgment therefore comes down to which we find more wasteful and inelegant: many worlds or many words. Perhaps we will gradually get used to the weird ways of our cosmos and find its strangeness to be part of its charm.” SOURCE: WIKIPEDIA
Relating to West Side Story… And Time
With this said, then I indeed went through to a parallel universe or dimensional space/time reality that had already happened a mere few minutes, hours, days or weeks prior to the space/time event of the world premiere event of our family watching West Side Story. In bringing back in to my current reality the full memory recall of the different reality I was attempting to understand the underpinnings of each reality I found myself connecting to and living within.
Clearly my experience be’tween both worlds (just two of multiversal probabilities) left me with many more questions for many years afterwards. Questions I am gaining insight and answers to through my spiritual quest and path. What my family ended up concluding about their reality-challenged daughter remains a mystery. Perhaps they have had similar experiences and have thought about the West Side Story experience.
… in every equation you will discover one constant
red [blood - coding] thread and that is YOU.
Perhaps a way to look at how to traverse through realities is by looking at finite-time singularity.
SINGULARITY occurs when one input variable is time, and an output variable increases towards infinite at a finite time. These are important inkinematics and PDEs – infinites do not occur physically, but the behavior near the singularity is often of interest. Mathematically the simplest finite-time singularities are power laws for various exponents, of which the simplest is hyperbolic growth, where the exponent is (negative) 1: More precisely, in order to get a singularity at positive time as time advances (so the output grows to infinity), one instead uses (using t for time, reversing direction to so time increases to infinity, and shifting the singularity forward from 0 to a fixed time ).
By looking at the diagram on the right, it reminds me of how we make a plus sign … +, by drawing a vertical line and then a horizontal line through the middle. What if that is incorrect and we must instead be drawing two 90° angles that may/may not intersect in the middle? What if that is the correct pattern and the shift comes in the center / zeropoint where we stop time/space and push it outward infinitely until we shift the zero point “output” to where we wish for it to be. Isn’t this the same thing that is written in the above example? If so then perhaps in addition to manifesting our wildest dreams isn’t it quite possible that we can also find the solution to Dr. Deutsch’s quest to discover how to hop time?
Whether you believe in multiple universes, realities, realms, or dimensional options … in every equation you will discover one constant red [blood-coding] thread and that is YOU. And it is the discovery of YOU which can make use of this information to further your own accelerated change towards super-intelligence and allow the true Holy Grail to occur within your mind as it fires off new neural net pathways creating an Arc of the Covenant from within. Achieving this space while remaining calm, grounded and centered throughout your spiritual path and life creations, in the end, is where we must gain our ground … for when we let go and let God … the how, when and where manifests themselves to perfection.

A word is a thought expressed, and it has been said that our thoughts speak louder than our words. The power of the mind is still virtually unknown. A light switch turns on and off and the differences are apparent, and the same holds true for our perception and how we believe. It is my personal belief that we will either our sickness or our well-being; we have the ability to anticipate success or failure. As an example, if you receive a terminal diagnosis, you either turn the switch off or allow it to come into fruition, or you change your mindset and lifestyle to do whatever it takes in order to live. And it all begins within the mind. The same holds true in medicine.
Society exercises faith in prescribed drugs for treating various diseases and ill health, and views vitamins as a safeguard in order to prevent the disease process, giving little credence to the notion that any alternatives for professional, therapeutic medicine exist.
What if there were an alternative to prescription drugs without side effects? How would such a treatment gain any credence within a drug-reliant society? The science proves that natural medicine is just as powerful as prescribed medicine. However, due to natural alternatives being non-patented, they are not promoted or clinically researched with double blind studies because the money invested for the studies could not be regained in the open market.
What are the differences between the clinically researched drugs and natural medicine? What does the money spent on research actually buy?
A good starting place to compare the differences would be in the area of pain management. Opioids, once prescribed as a last resort, have now become the first resort of many physicians. The ramifications of increased prescription opioids are phenomenal–addiction is at a crisis point, and for all the dangers, patients don’t seem to be getting better. Instead, they become tolerant and require increased doses. Opioids would have been green-lighted through clinical trials; yet, they leave a trail of destruction.
Compare this to DMSO. Medicinal grade DMSO, such as that from Life Choice, caused quite a stir in the 60′s-70′s. People who were paralyzed with pain used DMSO and were able to find relief and function normally. There were no reports of addiction or ill effects; yet, the product was pulled from the market for years. Now that it is available once again, customers are turning away from prescriptions and finding relief with DMSO.
Sleep disorders are another common ailment in society, and sleeping pills are a common prescription. Again, though, the prescription comes with a downside. Prescription sleep aids can be addictive. In some people, they do not help sleep time at all, instead producing nightmares. The issue of nightmares also comes up in cheap quality melatonin. To be of the highest quality, melatonin must be DMF–meaning drug manufacture file, which is the highest grade in the world. Customers who have spent years of sleepless nights have reported that our Melatonin helped them finally sleep soundly.
Anxiety-related health issues are another big concern today. People who are suffering turn to prescription medications to keep anxiety at bay. Still, sometimes these medications take a few weeks to really begin working. And, like with so many other prescription medications, they run a high risk of addiction and death; and death is a side effect you just can’t live with!
Kava Kava is of the highest quality when made from 5 year noble root. Islanders in the Pacific have known about the treasure of Kava for centuries, but we are just finding out what great things this plant is capable of. Most importantly, Kava has been studied for its anti-anxiety effects. It has been found to be just as effective–if not more effective–than prescription anxiety medications. If a simple plant is just as effective as a complicated, compounded prescription, why would we not use the medicine nature has already provided?
If people truly believed in the healing power of natural products as much as they do prescriptions, they would never leave home without them. Instead of being caught in a cycle of filling prescriptions, those suffering would be experiencing even more complete healing. They would no longer have to live with the side effects of prescriptions and would therefore have a better quality of life.
This is the irony of professional, therapeutic medicine: the medicine with the most studies and substantial financial backing does not truly qualify as medicine at all; yet, the underdog–natural medicine–is the medicine truly deserving of the title. If public perception of the underdog is ever to change, the natural health industry cannot bring anything less than our best to the table. This needs to be the primary mission of more natural health companies interested in health and not sacrificing health for profits. Those are the products that have the strongest health claims because they dedicate more effort in backing those claims. It’s about having done the research to produce a professional product; carefully formulated with genuine therapeutic value; and products that are real medicine in every sense of the word.
