Are you looking to support positive mental health without using pharmaceuticals? Psilocybin may be gaining mainstream acceptance by providing a safe “trip” out of desolation and into a more open, positive state of mind
Psilocybin (4-phosphoryloxy-N, N-dimethyltryptamine) is the main psychoactive compound in “magic mushrooms,” a euphemism for certain types of wild mushrooms found in North and South America and parts of Europe and Mexico. Psilocybin is classified as a tryptamine, naturally occurring alkaloids that include serotonin and melatonin, essential mood-regulating chemicals that function as neurotransmitters in the brain.[i]
Consuming psilocybin produces hallucinogenic effects similar to those of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) and DMT (dimethyltryptamine), other well-known tryptamines, by activating serotonin receptors in the brain, particularly the prefrontal cortex, the region of the brain affecting mood, perception and cognition.[ii] Such actions are called serotonergic — they modify the way serotonin affects the body.[iii]
More than 180 species of mushroom have been identified as containing psilocybin or psilocin, a structurally similar compound that occurs naturally and is the byproduct of the body’s metabolization of psilocybin.[iv] Dried mushrooms typically contain 0.2% to 0.4% psilocybin and only trace amounts of psilocin.[v]
Psilocybin Makes Magical Connections in the Brain
Hallucinogenic or “psychedelic” mushrooms have been used by native and indigenous peoples in healing and religious ceremonies for centuries. According to the May 2020 scientific study titled “Psilocybin: from ancient magic to modern medicine,” South American Aztec Indians referred to these mushrooms as teonanacatl, or “God’s flesh.”[vi]
Prior studies on hallucinogenic substances such as mescaline and LSD have led researchers to theorize that psilocybin’s actions on serotonin receptors are responsible for observed effects on mood and perception, such as visual and auditory hallucinations and difficulty discerning fantasy from reality.[vii]
Studies on psilocybin, which can be obtained organically from select mushroom species or reproduced synthetically in a lab, have produced beneficial effects on mood, personality and mental state, although scientists admit that the underlying mechanisms behind these benefits are still unknown. [viii]
A study published in the March 2020 issue of European Neuropsychopharmacology attempted to unlock these mysteries by studying psilocybin’s effect on mindfulness. According to researchers, mindfulness signifies “presence of mind” or “attentiveness to the present,” and is positively associated with income and socioeconomic status, but negatively associated with psychological distress and mental health scores, hence it is often purposely cultivated as part of mental health interventions.[ix]
In the study, 10 healthy volunteers were enlisted who were “psychedelic-naïve.” They underwent positron emission tomography (PET) neuroimaging of the brain at baseline and one week after a single oral dose of psilocybin (0.2 to 0.3 mg/kg).
Primary focus was placed on the neocortex, site of the highest expression of serotonin 2A receptor sites, with the cerebellum used as a reference region. Personality and mindfulness questionnaires were completed at baseline and at the three-month follow-up point.
Psilocybin induced an altered state of consciousness for all participants. Eight of 10 volunteers had a “complete mystical experience,” defined as a score of at or above 60% of possible maximum values for ineffability, positive mood, transcendence of time and space, and mystical experience. PET scans revealed no difference in the neocortical region of the brain at baseline and at follow-up.
However, test results revealed statistically significant increases in personality openness and mindfulness, with more self-rated positive changes than negative changes. Researchers concluded that a single dose of psilocybin can positively affect well-being and reduce clinical symptoms of depression and anxiety, and suggested that these effects can be long lasting.[x]
Studies Show Psilocybin’s Medical Merit
Other studies add to the evidentiary pile of psilocybin’s medical and therapeutic potential. Some researchers are even calling magic mushrooms a “game-changer” for treating severe depression and anxiety. A 2016 study out of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, examined the use of psilocybin to treat 51 cancer patients with life-threatening diagnoses and symptoms of depression and/or anxiety.
The randomized, double-blind trial investigated the effects of a very low (placebo-like) dose (1 or 3 mg/70 kg) versus a high dose (22 or 30 mg/70 kg) of psilocybin administered in counterbalanced sequence with five weeks between sessions and a six-month follow-up. Participants’ moods, attitudes and behaviors were monitored and reported on throughout the study by the participants themselves, clinical staff and trained community observers.
Results were crystal clear: high doses of psilocybin produced large decreases in depressed mood, anxiety level and anxiety about death, as rated by both participants and community observers.
High doses of psilocybin further corresponded to increases in quality of life, life meaning and optimism. These changes were sustained at the six-month follow-up point, with about 80% of participants continuing to show clinically significant decreases in depressed mood and anxiety.
The study participants attributed their improved attitudes about life, themselves, their relationships and personal spirituality to the high-dose experience, with more than 80% endorsing moderately or greatly improved well-being and life satisfaction, changes that were apparent even to the community observers.[xi]
It’s Time to End Psilocybin Prohibition
Buoyed by positive results in the cancer trial, Johns Hopkins researchers conducted another study on psilocybin, published May 2020 in the journal NeuroImage. The focus of this study was the claustrum, the region of the brain believed by some to be the seat of consciousness, responsible for your sense of self and universal awareness.[xii]
Researchers took functional MRI scans, known as fMRIs, of the claustrum brain region of 15 individuals after taking either psilocybin or a placebo. Scans showed that psilocybin reduced neural activity in the claustrum by 15% to 30%, activity that corresponded with stronger subjective drug effects as well, such as reported emotional and mystical experiences.
Psilocybin also appeared to change the way the claustrum communicated with regions of the brain involved in hearing, attention, decision-making and remembering.[xiii]
“Our findings move us one step closer to understanding mechanisms underlying how psilocybin works in the brain,” said Frederick Barrett, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a member of the school’s Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research, in a news release. “This will hopefully enable us to better understand why it’s an effective therapy for certain psychiatric disorders, which might help us tailor therapies to help people more.”[xiv]
While the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) currently lists psilocybin as a Schedule I substance, claiming that it has a high potential for abuse and no known medical uses,[xv] research over the past decade, such as that being conducted at Johns Hopkins University, has challenged this assessment, especially with regard to mental health.
Researchers at Johns Hopkins Medical Center previously issued a statement explaining that clinical trials have repeatedly demonstrated psilocybin to be a low-risk drug with low potential for abuse, with no known lethal overdose level.[xvi]
Combined with psilocybin’s significant promise as a medical intervention, scientists recommended that the DEA reconsider their erroneous and restrictive Schedule I designation and reclass the substance to Schedule IV, the same category as prescription sleep medication.

Technocracy and Transhumanism have always been joined at the hip. Technocracy uses its “science of social engineering” to merge technology and society. Transhumanism uses its field of NBIC to merge technology directly into humans.
To put it another way, Technocracy is to society what Transhumanism is to the humans that live in it.
Transhumanism as a philosophy has been growing for centuries, but only in the metaphysical realm. Its ultimate goal is for humans to escape death and live forever in a state of immortality. With the advancement of science in the last 30 years, Transhumans naturally migrated from the metaphysical to the physical in order to convert their beliefs into reality.
Crackpot, you say? Be careful what you ridicule because both Technocracy and Transhumanism are in control of the course of human history at this very moment. As I have written extensively about both for many years, this has been brewing for a very long time.
NBIC stands for Nano (nano-technology), Bio (bio-technology), Info (information technology) and Cogno (cognitive sciences). These four scientific disciplines remained separate avenues of study in Universities around the world until the early 1970s. Today, NBIC has become an established discipline of its own in most major universities with personnel contributed from each separate department.
Why NBIC? Because the underlying language of each field is digital in nature. Genetics (DNA, RNA) is expressed in digital terms. The brain (Cogno) is considered digital, like a biological supercomputer. Nanotechnology is digital as scientists discover how to manipulate matter itself with computer technology.
All together, NBIC offers a scientific cauldron to Transhumans in their quest to create Humans 2.0.
When NBIC is understood, it is no surprise that Technocrat Elon Musk founded Neuralink. Musk’s reality is to connect computing technology (Info) directly into the brain (Bio) using microscopic threads (Nano) that are sewn into the skull. This is technology that grew out of the science of NBIC.
It’s also no wonder that the upcoming vaccine for COVID-19 being produced by Moderna is also using NBIC science to accomplish a merging of the human body with advanced technology. The Trump Administration has contracted with Moderna to deliver 100 million doses of its investigational vaccine, ostensibly to be kitted and transported to the nation by the U.S. Military.
Moderna’s vaccine has modified RNA (Bio), the precursor to the formation of DNA, to be delivered with micro-needles (Nano) in order place the vaccine plus permanent digital markers into the skin that are encoded with digital information (Info). According to its website,
Messenger RNA, or mRNA, plays a fundamental role in human biology, transferring the instructions stored in DNA to make the proteins required in every living cell. Our approach is to use mRNA medicines to instruct a patient’s own cells to produce proteins that could prevent, treat, or cure disease.
In the video below, Dr. Carrie Madej gives a medical perspective on Moderna’s upcoming vaccine and the fact that it is Transhuman agenda driving it. Note that the name Moderna is a contraction of “Mod” and “RNA”.
According to Time Magazine,
Researchers at Moderna hot wired this process by packing their vaccine with mRNA, the genetic material that comes from DNA and makes proteins. Moderna’s idea is to load its coronavirus vaccine with mRNA that codes for the right coronavirus proteins and then inject that into the body. Immune cells in the lymph can process that mRNA and start making the protein in just the right way for other immune cells to recognize them so they can mount a response against an actual viral infection. Dr. Stephen Hoge, president of Moderna, explains that “mRNA is really like a software molecule in biology.” “So our vaccine is like the software program to the body, which then goes and makes the [viral] proteins that can generate an immune response.” (emphasis added)
It is also noteworthy that Moderna’s “Strategic Collaborators” include the Pentagon’s DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), its civilian counterpart, BARDA (Biomedical Advanced Research and Development) and the non-governmental Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Independently, the Gates Foundation funded the development of the so-called “Quantum Dot Tattoo” technology at MIT that could track who had received the vaccination or not.
The point of this article is to raise awareness of the joint goals of Technocracy and Transhumanism, and to show the connections between both. Technocrats are driving the pandemic as the “Great Panic of 2020” to shut down the global economy to make way for the Great Reset into Sustainable Development, aka Technocracy. Transhumans are piggybacking their own goals on to the pandemic to trigger Humans 2.0.
To repeat my statement above, “Technocracy is to society what Transhumanism is to the humans that live in it.” Both are extremely dangerous for all of humankind and must be rejected before it is too late to stop them.
The Quick Answer:
Question: Can CBD oil get you high?
No, CBD is naturally non-psychoactive. You may, however, feel more relaxed, which some people also associate with being “high.”

CBD vs. THC
A common worry for those considering using CBD oil products to benefit from their positive influences on health is the possibility of getting high. So, let’s talk about the difference between CBD and THC.
CBD is one of over 100 compounds called cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. CBD may positively impact stress and mood as well as muscle soreness, provide sleep support, enhance skin health and even calm down your pet. Research into CBD’s effects in these areas has snowballed in recent years. While the links between CBD and this plethora of benefits are not yet conclusive, cannabidiol research is positive and is continually uncovering more and more supportive evidence. We cover the latest developments together with case studies in our blog.
However, although there is a lot of positive research surrounding CBD oil effects, it is sometimes overshadowed by the information we hear about THC, another compound found in the cannabis plant. THC has psychotropic properties and is associated with feelings of sedation, anxiety, elation, relaxation, and sometimes hallucinations and delusions, among other effects (1).
The fact that THC and CBD are closely linked leads people to question, “Can CBD oil get you high?” Additionally, as THC products are illegal in most places, confusing CBD with THC can cause worry.
Hemp vs. Marijuana
To fully understand why you won’t get high from CBD, you need to know that CBD oil can be made from both hemp and marijuana.
CBD is, in fact, totally legal when extracted from industrial hemp, which is the source of CBD for all our CBD supplements. When you choose CBD oil made from hemp, you will only get negligible levels of THC (<0.3%), because hemp is grown and used for its sturdy stalks and low levels of THC. So, no, you will not get high when consuming products made from industrial hemp.
However, CBD can also be found in marijuana. This may or may not be legal, depending on where you live. If you decided to get products made from marijuana, you may get varying levels of THC and CBD. This is totally up to the dispensary. So, if you are concerned about getting high, you may want to avoid products made from marijuana unless you can confirm the quantities of CBD and THC. This can be done by third-party lab testing, and any self-respecting company should be checking their products for heavy metals, mold, pesticides and cannabinoid levels.
So, while THC is found in high quantities in marijuana and low quantities in hemp, the reverse is true for CBD. The CBD in CBD oil is most often extracted from hemp as opposed to marijuana since it is naturally higher in CBD and low in THC.
The short answer to the question, “Can CBD get you high?” is no, it can’t. The reason for this is that the process of extracting CBD oil is unlikely to produce oil with high levels THC, and CBD on its own doesn’t get you high.
Next, we’ll take a closer look at the production of CBD oil to make this clearer. We’ll review what the research says about CBD, and we’ll answer a few more frequently asked questions, such as, “can CBD relax you?” Spoiler alert: Yes, it can.
How CBD Oil Is Made
Hemp plants that are used to extract CBD for CBD oil are specifically bred to contain the highest concentrations of CBD and the lowest concentrations of THC. Growers take advantage of the fact that hemp is naturally high in CBD and breed the plants to enhance this factor.
While marijuana contains around 5-10% THC, hemp only contains around a tenth of that, .05-1% (2). Levels this low can be considered negligible. THC is found concentrated in the buds of the cannabis plant, but hemp is bred to grow without these THC-containing buds. Its height also proves useful as hemp stalks are used when creating the oil.
A CBD oil extract is created through one of three methods: by pushing CO2 through the plant at high pressures or by using ethanol or a carrier oil. All three methods of making CBD oil rely on extracting CBD from the hemp plant in a close-to-pure form with a zero to negligible trace of THC. We prefer to use the CO2 method because it’s clean and doesn’t leave behind any nasty byproducts, which you can sometimes get when using ethanol or oils.
Now we know how CBD oil is made and why it’s produced with little to no THC. Next, let’s review the research around CBD.
Promising Scientific Research for CBD
The use of CBD to provide a plethora of benefits has hugely grown in popularity over recent years, and so has the research. Recently, a paper was published reviewing the therapeutic uses of cannabinoids, giving special attention to CBD. The paper claims CBD to be non-psychotropic and to have implications for inflammation (3).
Research has even gone as far as to say that CBD has antipsychotic properties. This means that CBD might have the opposite effect of other cannabinoids, such as THC. Research published back in 2006 suggests that CBD is a safe antipsychotic compound that could have anxiolytic — anti-anxiety — effects (4).
CBD has been shown to be completely different from THC even in how it interacts with receptors in the brain. While more research is needed, there is good evidence to support the assertion that the two compounds have completely different effects.
Do you still have questions? We’ve got answers.
What are the effects of CBD?
At low levels (1-20 mg), CBD makes you feel relaxed; it takes the edge off the day without making you feel sedated. At higher levels (20 mg+), you will feel very relaxed and possibly sleepy. Each person responds differently, so it’s best to start low and work up in serving size.
What is CBD oil used for?
CBD oil is the non-psychoactive component of cannabis used to calm and relax the body and mind.
What is CBD hemp oil used for?
CBD hemp oil is the non-psychoactive component of cannabis used to calm and relax the body and mind.
How is hemp oil used?
Hemp oil is available in a number of different product types. It can be consumed as an edible or tincture, taken as a capsule, and even used as a topical cream or ointment. However, one of the most popular ways of using hemp is by vaping it. Hemp oil vaping is widely accepted as the fastest way to experience the effects of CBD.
Can CBD relax you?
Yes. If you’re having a hard time letting go of your stress, or if you have a restless, mile-a-minute mind, CBD can relax you in an effective and enjoyable way. There are a number of CBD products available, ranging from capsules and concentrates, to supplements, tinctures, and vape oils.
What is CBD oil vapor?
CBD vapor oil is a type of vaporizer oil that contains cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis (both hemp and marijuana). It’s typically used to calm and relax the body and mind.
What does CBD e-juice do?
CBD e-juice is a type of vaporizer oil that contains cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis (both hemp and marijuana). It’s typically used to calm and relax the body and mind.
What is CBD oil extract?
CBD oil extract is simply another term for concentrated CBD oil extracted from hemp. Industrial hemp plants are specially cultivated to produce an oil extract that’s high in CBD, with only trace amounts of THC.
What are CBD edibles?
CBD edibles are food products that have been infused with cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis (both hemp and marijuana). CBD edibles are used to calm and relax the body and mind.
Are CBD oil and hemp oil the same?
No, they are different. “CBD oil” is made by extracting a specific compound (called CBD) from the seeds and stalks of the hemp plant. This is turned into products that are used to calm and relax the body and mind. On the other hand, “hemp oil” typically refers to hemp seed oil, which is made by a completely different process. Hemp seed oil is cold-pressed oil from the hemp seeds only. This contains no cannabinoids and can be used as a cooking oil. It also contains high levels of healthy Omega 3 & Omega 6 fatty acids.
Can you get high from hemp seed oil?
No, hemp seeds contain no THC, so there is no chance of getting high from eating hemp seed oil or hemp seeds themselves.
Can you get high from hemp hearts?
No, hemp hearts contain no THC, so there is no chance of getting high from eating hemp hearts.
Can you get high on hemp?
No, the hemp plant was bred specially for its hearty stalks and low levels of THC. You can not get high by smoking hemp or from hemp oil vaping.
Research is bringing to light more and more support for the numerous benefits of the non-psychotropic compound CBD. While its benefits have been overshadowed by fears that it will get you high due to its link with THC, the more we discover about CBD and how it differs from THC, the more the public will give it a chance.
“In experiments on mice, scientists rewired the circuits of the brain and changed the animals’ bad memories into good ones…The researchers said they were able to do the opposite as well—change a pleasurable memory in mice into one associated with fear.”(Kevin Drum, Mother Jones, 8/27/14)
Brain researchers believe they have the future of the world in their hands. For example, they assume that one day, they will be able to turn on or turn off circuits that induce pleasure and pain in humans. Easily, reliably, precisely.
If humans seek to find pleasure and avoid pain, or if they pursue goals that deliver pleasure as a side effect…why wait? Why go through the process of striving at all? Why not cut to the bottom line immediately and experience pleasure?
In an age where instant reward, entitlement, flickering attention, and entertainment are paramount, why not stimulate the brain and give people what they want?
Work is the middle-man. Eliminate it. The interval between desire and fulfillment is long. Erase it.
In the process, simplify human aspirations. Reduce them to a lowest common denominator. Assume that what a Tesla, a Rembrandt, a Beethoven achieved was unnecessarily complicated—the “same result” could have been handed to them on a silver platter.
Individual triumph? An outmoded concept. And why should one person accomplish more than another? It’s victimization. A cardinal sin.
If a thousand robots working in a factory can turn out more cars per day than their human counterparts, thus alleviating the stress of labor, then by analogy, delivering pleasure to a population through drugs or electromagnetic stimulation, bypassing the need for work, is a worthy objective.
These are the arguments, and a significant and growing percentage of the human race would find them persuasive and attractive.
“I’m bored (tired, frustrated, unhappy, confused). Give me pleasure. Now.”
Kent Berridge, PhD, at the University of Michigan Affective & Biopsychology Lab, writes(“Hedonic hotspots of ‘Liking’ — The brain’s pleasure gloss”):
“Pleasure arises within the brain. Sweetness or other natural pleasures are mere sensations as they enter the brain, and brain systems must actively paint the pleasure onto sensation to generate a ‘liking’ reaction — as a sort of pleasure gloss or varnish. Our lab has discovered brain generators of sensory pleasure, in the form of anatomical ‘hedonic hotspots’ in the brain, which use neurochemcal signals [to] paint intense pleasure on sensation, embedded within larger hedonic circuits. It is important to identify such pleasure-causing brain hedonic hotspots, neurochemicals and circuits, in order to identify true mechanisms of pleasure. The need to find true pleasure generators is especially pressing because hedonic circuit dysfunctions may underlie mood disorders and related clinical disorders, and because several other brain candidates once thought to mediate pleasure are now increasingly recognized to not cause pleasure after all (e.g., dopamine, electrical brain stimulation). Therefore we aim to find true causes and mechanisms in the brain for pleasure.”
Thousands of brain researchers all over the world believe they are on the road to curing “mood disorders.” But the big picture is quite different. It involves the shaping of society.
The individual, stripped of goals, vision, imagination, and creative force drops into a slow-motion vortex of despair; and painting a pleasure-gloss on his interior sensations is no cure.
Brain research has come a long way since Pavlov, but the basic formula is still the same: stimulate a reaction.

Are you depressed? Anxious? Hyperactive? Attention Deficit? Psychotic? Delusional? Schizophrenic? Bipolar? Social anxiety disorder? Panic attacks? Do you have a disease? Has it been diagnosed? Is there a cure?
The DSM-5, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, is the official medical bureaucracy book of mental disorders. You might be surprised to learn that there are no cures for any mental disorder listed in the DMS-5. Not one. The DSM-5 does not recommend treatments, much less cures. The only reference to the word cure that I can find is “eventual cures for these conditions“. Cured is not defined for any mental disorder. At this time, by omission, according to the DSM-5, there are no cures. Maybe, someday, eventually, but today? Not.
How can this be true? Can this be true? Have all of the cures of modern medicine disappeared? Actually, it’s true due to a strange logic (or illogic) trick. I’ll use depression as an example, but you can pick your disease – similar rules apply.
Let’s suppose someone is depressed. Diagnosed with depression, using the DSM-5. Then suppose they are cured of their depression. How might this happen? Well, there are lots of causes of depression. If the cause is addressed, the illness is cured. That’s how cures work.
Nutritional deficiencies can cause depression. If depression is caused by a nutritional deficiency, then it can be cured by addressing deficiency. There are lots of different foods to address any nutritional deficiency. Lots of cures for depression caused by nutrient deficiencies. There’s only one small problem.
Or maybe the depression was caused by poisons, by drugs, or toxic chemicals. If so, then it might be cured by removing the toxic chemicals, by removing the drugs. Depending on the source of the poison, there might be many ways to address the cause, many ways to cure the depression. There’s only one small problem.
But wait, there’s more. Depression might be caused by physical or mental abuse. If it was caused by mental abuse, gaslighting, or by physical abuse, then it might be cured by addressing the abuse. There’s only one small problem.
Chronic depression takes it a step further. Chronic depression has a chronic cause. If the cause is nutritional, or poison, or abuse, it might cause a short-term depression – cured naturally when the cause disappears. But if the cause persists, the result is chronic depression. A chronic illness is not cured by addressing the cause – it can only be cured by addressing the chronic nature of the cause.
For example, if someone’s diet is chronically deficient in nutrients, or chronically toxic, or if their social relationships are chronically toxic, resulting in physical or mental abuse – they might acquire a chronic case of depression. Feeding them a healthy meal or two, free of poisonous chemicals, with a group of supportive friends, might give some relief – but it will not cure. The chronic cause must be addressed. If someone is chronically depressed because they are chronically malnourished, and they are chronically malnourished because they are chronically poor – a few healthy meals will not cure the depression. It’s necessary to address the chronic cause, chronic poverty, which is causing chronic malnutrition, which is causing chronic depression.
But, same same. If the depression is cured by lifting the patient out of poverty, then either… “it wasn’t really cured – maybe it’s just remission“, or “it wasn’t really depression – it wasn’t really a mental disorder, it was poverty“. Real depression is incurable.
Are you getting the idea? The same concepts apply to many mental disorders. Anxious? Hyperactive? Attention Deficit? Psychotic? Delusional? Schizophrenic? Bipolar? Social anxiety disorder? Panic attacks?
If it can be cured, it is cured by addressing the cause. But if it is cured by addressing a cause – then it was caused by the cause. And if it was caused by the cause, then it’s not a mental disorder.
And that’s not all. If you cure your depression, anxiety attacks, ADHD, or any mental disorder – you can’t prove it’s cured. Because cured is not defined, there is no test for depression cured. No test for anxiety attacks cured, ADHD cured. There is no test for cured for any mental disorder. You might cure your depression. But you can’t prove it is cured. You might cure someone else’s depression. But you can’t prove it is cured. Proof of cured is not possible until cured is medically defined.
So look around. If you are depressed, or you know someone who is depressed (or has any other mental disorder), you’ll see lots of “medical news”. You’ll see recommendations for “treating” depression, for depression “prevention”, for “resolving” depression.
But you won’t see any claims of “curing” depression. You won’t find anyone who claims to cure depression – because depression cured is not defined, depression cured cannot be tested, depression cured cannot be proven. It’s official. All mental disorders are incurable. If a mental disorder is cured, either it’s not really cured – or it’s just been proven to be… “not a mental disorder”.
That’s the current state of cure, with regards to all mental disorders. Cured is not defined. Therefore, no cures are possible. If someone has a mental disorder, they can be “treated” with drugs that aim to reduce the signs and symptoms. But they can’t be cured.
If anyone claims to have cured their depression, panic attacks, psychosis, etc., the medical system’s response is “just ignore them. They must be crazy. Maybe give them some drugs to prevent a relapse“.
How to Cure Depression
If depression cannot be cured “officially” can it be cured? Of course, it can. Depression is only incurable according to the bureaucracies of conventional medicine.
If you want to cure depression, it is necessary to go outside of conventional medicine.
Maybe you noticed, in each of the above example cases – the depression was not cured by a medicine. It was cured by health. Depression caused by malnutrition is cured by a healthy diet. Depression caused by toxic chemicals is cured by removing the toxic chemicals. Depression caused by toxic relationships is cured by addressing the cause, not by any medicine.
The Elements of Cure
Every illness can be cured. An illness is cured when the cause has been addressed when, healing has completed, and when no more medicines are required.
Of course, sometimes, it’s more complicated. Sometimes, a case of depression is simple, elementary. But sometimes, a single case of depression has several causes. When a case of depression has many causes, it consists of many elements of illness. Each element must be cured by addressing the elementary cause.
Curing depression, sometimes, can be trivial. So trivial – that it is cured before it is diagnosed as depression. Sometimes, depression is cured – even after it has been diagnosed, but the medical bureaucracies are forced to judge it to be “in remission” or maybe it wasn’t really a depression “disease”.
Depression caused by malnutrition can lead to toxic relationships, to consuming toxic chemicals or drugs. Depression, simple depression, can become a downward spiral of illness. When a case of depression has a long and complex history – the cure can also be long and complex. But depression can be cured.
The fact that cured is missing, lost from the medical texts – is a deficiency of understanding, not a deficiency of cures.

Anti-establishment movements are a mess. Whether they’re left-wing or right-wing, whether they’re statist or anarchist, whether they’re organized or decentralized, whether they place emphasis on official or unofficial narratives, any circle of people who are interested in opposing the status quo on a deep, meaningful level almost invariably find themselves significantly bogged down by confusion, paranoia, infighting, and misdirected use of energy.
Every day, for example, I get people in my inbox and social media notifications telling me I shouldn’t quote or share anything from this or that lefty journalist or anti-establishment figure because they’ve said something “problematic” at some point or have some kind of association with some aspect of the establishment. Rather than simply using narrative-disrupting tools wherever they come from to fight the establishment narrative control machine, I’m encouraged to isolate myself to the extremely narrow spectrum of voices which agree with my exact worldview perfectly. This kind of paranoid, self-cannibalizing mentality is rife throughout most anti-establishment circles.
This happens for a number of reasons, including the fact that the ruling power establishment will infiltrate dissident movements that it perceives as a threat with the intent of sowing confusion and division. But the underlying reason anti-establishment circles so often find themselves getting crushed by their own weight is ultimately because life itself is confusing and difficult to understand.
Hardly anyone holds a lucid and steady awareness of just how much of society is comprised of mental narrative. Most people live their lives under the unquestioned assumption that when they are moving around in the world, speaking, acting, forming opinions, having ideas etc, they are interacting with something that resembles objective reality. The truth of the matter is that most of the things which draw people’s attention in their day-to-day experience, whether it’s names, titles, news stories, political parties, economics, history, philosophy, religion or what have you, consist entirely of mental noises firing off inside human skulls.
You might think it’s a big jump to go from chatting about the sociopolitical dynamics within dissident movements to making vaguely Buddhist-sounding observations about human thought, but it’s really not. The reason our species is in a mess right now, and thus the reason movements exist which seek to change the status quo, is because so much of life is dictated entirely by made-up mental narratives which can be easily controlled by the powerful, and hardly anyone fully grasps this. If they did, the revolution against the establishment would very smoothly and quickly succeed.
Scientific research has found that astronauts suffer problems with coordination, perception and cognition when they are unable to determine which way is up in space. There is no “up” or “down” when you’re outside the gravitational pull that our bodies are adapted to, so its absence sends our whole system out of whack. Navigating a society that is made of mental narrative is very much the same; if you don’t know which way’s up, you’ll get lost and confused. Before you can see the narrative matrix clearly, you might be aware that some narratives serve power and swat at them while you’re spinning through space, but you won’t have any solid ground on which to orient yourself for the purpose of forming a clear path forward toward a healthy and harmonious world.
Your first and foremost task as a revolutionary, therefore, is to find solid ground on which to plant your feet while operating within a swirling sea of narratives and counter-narratives. Without this you’ll find yourself expending energy on ineffectual agendas, chasing shadows, attacking friends and advancing the interests of the enemy as you stumble around trying to fight a threat you can’t even see clearly. You’ve got to figure out for yourself which way’s up.
The only way to do this is to turn inward and sort out your own mental narratives in your own experience. This takes a lot of dedicated work, because there are many layers of tightly believed narratives which dictate one’s perception of the world that most people aren’t even aware of.
As soon as we’re born we are given a name which has nothing to do with the nature of the slimy, screaming naked creature which came roaring thunderously alive out of the womb. We spend our childhood being told who we are in various ways by our family, then we go to school to get taught how to think like everyone else and get labeled good/smart or bad/stupid for the rest of our lives based on how well we dance that dance. Along the ride we pick up coping mechanisms to deal with the stress of this whole unnatural ordeal, many of which become extremely counterproductive unconscious habits in later years. We pick up likes and dislikes, interests and aversions, life philosophies, religious beliefs, societal beliefs, political beliefs, all of which come together to form our worldview.
Because the foundations of our entire worldview are formed in early childhood long before we’re mature enough to decide for ourselves what a useful foundation might look like, we wind up interfacing with life through this muddled, inefficient network of mostly unconscious mental and perceptual habits which don’t serve us very well. It is with this warped, endarkened tool that we interact with the vast sea of official and unofficial narratives we are presented with in our attempts to decipher what’s wrong with the world and how to fix it.
The path, then, is to unwind this whole confused, unconscious muddle of mental and perceptual habits until we get to the untarnished blank canvass of that powerful screaming baby who first met this wild world, and inhabit it consciously. That right there is our solid ground.
Who are you? Underneath the mental narratives about who you are? Underneath all the stories, labels and beliefs? Underneath the field of consciousness full of thoughts, sensory impressions and feelings? This is the most important inquiry that anyone can possibly engage in, and it is worthy of the entirety of your focus until it’s resolved.
All of these swirling, babbling thought stories have dictated our lives for as long as we can remember, but rarely does anyone sit down and start sorting out where they come from and if they’re useful. We lug around ancient mental narratives about life, about how we should be, about how other people should be, about the best ways to find happiness, about the best ways to avoid unhappiness, and we rarely consider the possibility that we can interact with life unencumbered by that heavy load.
If you want to find solid ground beneath your feet so that you can push effectively for a healthy world, you’ve got to question every assumption you’ve ever made about yourself and the nature of the world, even your very most fundamental assumptions, because it’s all narrative. As you turn your attention toward your essential nature and away from your churning, babbling mental habits, interest and attention will move away from mental narratives and toward the solid ground upon which they appear. The mind will relax and mental narrative will take on its proper role as a tool that can be used when it’s useful and set down when it isn’t, rather than the dominating feature of every minute of waking existence. Unhelpful mental habits can be discarded, and all attempts at narrative manipulation will stand out like a black fly on a white sheet of paper.
I can’t tell you how to do this. Everyone’s path to the heart of the fundamental matter is unique, and you can only travel it on your own. I can tell you that the answer does not exist in the realm of thought, and that it is closer to you than your own breath. Sincere, dedicated inquiry into your own true nature, on your own and in your own way, will lead you to the ground on which you must take your stand in order to fight the establishment narrative machine effectively.

Something very unusual rumbled across planet Earth on November 11th, and scientists say they’ve never seen anything like it. For 20 minutes, instruments measured unusual seismic activity over 10,000 miles away from where it originated, yet not a single human felt them.
Seismic waves, originating from the French island of Mayotte, between Africa and Madagascar, traveled around the world. They were recorded throughout Africa and as far away as Chile, New Zealand, Canada and Hawaii, nearly 11,000 miles away.
Not only did no humans feel these bizarre seismic waves, only one human noticed the strange signal on the United States Geological Survey’s (USGS) seismograph displays:

John Cassidy@earthquakeguyThe unusual seismic waves that travelled around the world on November 11th were well-recorded across Canada. The waves (unknown origin at this time) originated near Mayotte (between Madagascar and East Africa). Interesting discussion here:https://twitter.com/i/moments/1062037784909832192 …
9:42 AM – Nov 13, 2018The French Geological Survey team (BRGM) working at the Geology Laboratory of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, reported that on November 11th “an atypical very low frequency signal was detected by the international networks.” Low frequency signals of this kind are characteristic of volcanic phenomena.
Göran Ekström, Columbia University seismologist, told National Geographic:
“I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it.”
Normally, an earthquake releases its energy in one big burst, resulting in the presence of three different waves – P-waves, S-waves, and surface waves. Typical P- or S- wave was recorded during the event
The first type is a compressional wave (P-wave). These waves are the fastest of the three and they shake the ground back and forth. The next is a shear wave (S-wave). S-waves translate into large jolts and strong side-to-side shaking. Both P-waves and S-waves have high frequencies.
The third type is a surface wave. Surface waves occur near the earth’s surface and are felt as a rolling motion. Strong earthquakes can result in surface waves that travel the globe multiple times. Despite the absence of a large earthquake near Mayotte on November 11th, low frequency waves similar to surface waves were measured, but they were unlike any previously measured surface waves – they were uniform and clean.
According to the French Geological Survey, Mayotte has seen several hundred seismic events since May of 2018. When multiple seismic events occur in a specific zone over a short period of time, it is often referred to as an “earthquake swarm.” Prior to the swarm events beginning in May, earthquakes on and around the island were of the usual “main shock, followed by smaller after-shocks” type. The appearance of this particular November event, neither earthquake nor swarm, took scientists by surprise.
The ground moved up and down Every 17 seconds the ground moved up and down as the waves rolled — John Cassidy, an earthquake seismologist with Natural Resources Canada, told Global News that it was a “very slow shaking.”
“Based on the seismic events and GPS formation data, there is likely a volcanic link — movement of magma chambers, etc.,” Cassidy added.
If there is indeed volcanic activity occurring near Mayotte, it would be the first in over 4,000 years. Since July, GPS stations on the island have tracked Mayotte moving some 1.2 inches south and 2.4 inches east according to the Institut National de L’information Géographique et Forestière.
Helen Robinson, a Ph.D. candidate in applied volcanology at the University of Glasgow, filtered out the low frequency waves and found what appeared to be P- and S- waves resulting from tiny tremors at the very start of the event. But even those weren’t normal.
“They’re too nice; they’re too perfect to be nature,” Robinson joked. She went on to add that an industrial source for the waves is not possible.
All we really know is that no one felt the mysterious seismic waves and no one knows what they mean. Current theories suggest that a rhythmic motion occurred in a magma chamber thanks to some sort of subsurface shift or chamber collapse, but as of yet, little evidence exists. But rest assured, BRGM is on the case and plans to complete surveys of the ocean bottom around Mayotte and investigate the possibility of a submarine volcanic eruption.

Some of the world’s finest minds—from Nick Bostrom to Elon Musk to Leonard Susskind to Anthony Peake and many others—seem inclined to believe we’re living in a simulation. But if we’re living in a simulation, we are simulations ourselves. So: Is all illness quantum?
A simulated or holographic universe would be a universe that was comprised, a priori, of light. But light does not behave according to classical physics. Its physics is quantum.
For light, every place is the same place (spooky action at a distance). Light cannot move forward in space. It can only move forward in time.
Let’s look at the universe through light’s lens. There is no space. There is only time. When a photon accelerates through space, it enters the future. This would explain why, in the famous double-slit experiment, when we accelerated photons, it generated a wave pattern (representing all possible future outcomes). But when we observed the experiment, we collapsed the wave pattern into one localized (in time) outcome. Because we cannot see the future. We cannot see light that’s cycling time more slowly than we are. Because in truth, light can neither accelerate nor decelerate. When light speeds up, time slows down. And when light slows down, time speeds up.
And so it is with us. When we slow down, time speeds up (Parkinson’s). And when we speed up, time slows down (ALS). When we have Parkinson’s, we’re cycling time too quickly—at the speed of the past. And when we have ALS, we are cycling time too slowly—at the speed of the future. All time exists at once. Or, as Einstein put it back in March, 1955: The distinction between past, present, and future is only an illusion, however tenacious this illusion may be. But—and here’s the new bit, which may be key in solving mankind’s diseases—it exists at different speeds.
What causes cancer? You want the short answer? E = mc^2.
Our matter and energy are constantly spinning into each other, trans-animating—this transanimation is what I mean when I say we “cycle time.” When we lag behind time (alkalosis), we don’t make enough light. And when we surpass time (acidosis), we make too much. As the universe accelerates and dynamics of time change, our matter to energy ratios shift, but we always transanimate at light’s speed. We need to rewrite E = mc^2 from the point of view of C. Mass-energy equivalence does not allow for a manipulation of C. It requires we manipulate the M and the E.
When we lag behind time, our mass-energy equivalence gets skewed toward matter. Instead of gravity and electricity (energy) in the body, we get their material precipitates: iron and oxalate. Iron is, in effect, gravity in physical form. And oxalate (a crystal found in plants capable of photosynthesis) is, in effect, light. We might think of crystal as stored light—light that’s cycling time more slowly than its own speed, and is therefore material rather than immaterial.
Inside cells that begin to accumulate iron and oxalate, after a while, a switch gets flipped. The DNA reads a high matter to energy ratio, and syncs with the wrong time signature. The rest of the organism continues to adapt to the ever-changing dynamics of time, but these cells remain in the past. Later, if they want to self-correct, they’re trapped by a pH paradox. (This is why Dr. Tullio Simoncini had such success.) Contrary to our perception, it’s not that these cells mutate; it’s that they don’t mutate. They’re still “making time,” but the character of the time they make is no longer in sync with the rest of us. They’re achieving the speed of light (C) using an old equation that has more matter and less energy. It’s still C, but it’s what C would be if we lived in a faster, higher-gravity universe. Cancerous cells are healthy cells that are cycling time too quickly—at the speed of the past.
The DNA is our code, and it’s protean. It’s designed to adapt to the changing dynamics of time. As it perceives its environment, it changes accordingly (epigenetics). This is why the environment—in both a micro- and a macro- sense—is so important to our development, and why adding chemicals to our environment damages us. The DNA is mutating all the time, but because the change is uniform—both self and lens—we don’t see it. What we perceive as a mutation is actually old DNA that hasn’t changed. DNA is like an architect’s tracing paper that maps light with matter. We only see a change when it doesn’t match.
DNA is like the live wire where the future and the past are trading places, the code where the information for light and matter crisscross. You might call it the nexus of the simulation. If the DNA cannot accurately read which time signature it’s in, it cannot adapt to the changing mechanics of time accordingly. Individual cells—or, indeed, the entire organism—are “left behind” in time, which is akin to being left behind in another dimension. As we move forward in time, we don’t notice our own acceleration or the expansion of matter. But if we were to observe a corpse from another dimension, it might appear to have numerous DNA mutations and be of deranged proportions. Such as the Atacama skeleton.
When we lag behind the speed of light (e.g. aging), we’re spinning too slowly inside a time signature that’s too fast (too little sodium inside the cell; too much potassium outside). When we surpass time (e.g. autism), we’re spinning too quickly inside a time signature that’s too slow (too much sodium inside the cell; too little potassium outside).
There are two nervous systems. The brain, which reads the collective self through the individual lens; and the gut, which reads the individual self through the collective lens.
As light, when we slow down, time speeds up. This creates a computational error as the two nervous systems clash. The brain perceives time running too quickly and assumes it’s in acidosis and needs to slow down. The gut perceives metabolism running too slowly and wants to speed up—but the brain won’t let it. As soon as metabolism speeds up, the brain gives the signal to make ammonia. The metabolism gets a wet blanket right when it needs a match. We should be taking off, but instead we founder.
Call it a pH paradox. The brain thinks we’re in acidosis, when really we’re in alkalosis. The result is we wind up even farther behind than we were. All the ammonia depletes our manganese (via arginase activity), which increases our iron to manganese ratios—and we fall farther back in time. The iron to manganese ratio—a stand-in for gravity to electricity—is paramount to health. It’s how the body locates itself in time.
It’s not exactly that our brains are complete idiots who are ruining everything. The computational error is understandable, because both things are true: we need to speed up, so we can slow down (akin to shifting gears). When we do this, we enter a different time signature—the future. The brain needs to submit to the gut—to let metabolism speed up, so that time can slow down for us.
It’s the opposite for our autistic children. We lag behind time, whereas they’ve surpassed it. We think they’re behind us, when, in fact, they’re ahead. They’re running too quickly, so time has slowed down for them, making it appear as if they’re developing slowly. In autism, the brain perceives time running too slowly, and assumes it’s in alkalosis and needs to speed up. The gut, which is smarter than the brain, knows they’re in acidosis and wants to slow them down—but the brain won’t let it. Every time the gut makes ammonia, to put the brakes on metabolism, the brain revs it.
Wellness has nothing to do with “killing” or “detoxing.” It has to do with one thing only: synchronizing with time. As we better learn how to synchronize with time, we should be able to extend our lifespans dramatically.
We are light first, and matter second. And when we shed these mortal avatars, we shall be light again. We await the arrival of the ultimate quantum computer, asking: But how will it solve the hardware problem? We’ve already solved the hardware problem. The solution to the hardware problem is on display wherever we turn. Mathematics unreasonably explains the biological and physical worlds because mathematics is generating them.
The singularity isn’t coming. The singularity is here.

At its core, consciousness is the awareness of being aware. Which is extraordinarily relevant to today’s conversation about the internet censorship being openly carried out by big tech and big government.
You see, when looking at this from the microcosmic level, that is, exploring of the vastness of the inner worlds, increasing consciousness is about digging deep with open eyes to uncover the forces, drivers, baggage, patterns, and programming that influences one’s self. It’s about untangling all of this in order to evolve into one’s highest potential.
Extrapolating this to the macrocosmic, the adage ‘as above, so below – as within, so without,’ is key.
When looking at the outer world with the aim of expanding our consciousness of it, we must also dig deep with open eyes. We must sideline the fear inherent in this sort of exploration, and allow many friendly and unfriendly truths to sink into one’s awareness of the world around us. In order to make the best choices for ourselves, this view must be as broad and as complete as possible.
In 2013, author and researcher Graham Hancock introduced into the current zeitgeist the notion of a war on consciousness.
His perspective was centered around the war on drugs and the development of an international police state. In order to achieve this level of totalitarian control, our perspective must be restricted. And our perception of human potential must not be allowed to move beyond the current socio-economic and political realities.
Hancock suggests that in order to continue to evolve, people must be allowed to follow their innate human drive to seek altered states of consciousness, where guidance and inspiration can be found in abundance.
“But there are many other states of consciousness that the amazing and mysterious human brain is capable of embracing, and it appears to be a natural human urge, as deep-rooted as our urges for food, sex, and nurturing relationships, to seek out and explore such “altered states of consciousness.” A surprisingly wide range of methods and techniques (from breathing exercises, to meditation, to fasting, to hypnosis, to rhythmic music, to extended periods of vigorous dancing, etc.) is available to help us to achieve this goal, but there is no doubt that the consumption of those plants and substances called “drugs” in our societies is amongst the most effective and efficient means available to mankind to explore these profoundly altered states of consciousness.” ~Graham Hancock
Hancock was primarily focused on the use of psychedelics and shamanic plant medicines which are renowned for their ability to smash the illusions on which contemporary capitalist culture is based, and he understood the very practical ways in which this can be controlled. It’s as simple as locking people up into physical cages and terrorizing the rest of the population.
Fast forward five years, and the West is witnessing a remarkable new offensive in the war on consciousness, this time in the arena of information awareness.
When a group of people gets together and conspires to deliberately restrict access to points-of-view, opinions, ideas, personalities and information, then those people are engaged in a struggle to control other’s perception of the world.
Their aim is to control awareness of the diversity of possibilities in how the world is perceived. To shut down imagination.
To control your consciousness of the world we all share.
Doing so allows them to herd everyone else onto the same playing field with the same rules.
This struggle is representative of the Archonic forces at play in our world. Meaning that at its root, the struggle is a spiritual one. It revolves entirely your individual courage to think beyond the corral, to transcend the thought diktat, and to fearlessly continue to explore ideas and truths which resonate with you and help you to make sense of the world.
This is about the struggle to maintain personal sovereignty of mind and spirit, because it is precisely this inner freedom and fearlessness that makes one impossible to control.

We all know it, that dull ache of pointlessness, overwhelming sadness and a deep lack of interest in life. The fog of listless pain that blows in and then settles, trapping us inside it. Most of us have suffered at some point in our lives from depression. Be it a mild version following a major life event, or a more prolonged episode that can get so severe it entraps us in an ever compressing world of hopelessness to such an extent we consider ending our own lives.
Depression is one of the biggest issues in our world today. With record numbers of people suffering from the dark cloud, and soaring suicide rates, depression is a crippling disease reaching epidemic proportions.
Well-known author and journalist, Johann Hari, suffered from depression as a teen, taking anti-depressants from a tender age. Told, like so many others, his depression was the cause of a chemical imbalance in his brain, he later studied social sciences and embarked on a quest to discover the truth about the cause of his depression. He swallowed antidepressants like millions of others, and after 13 years of pills, without much change, and a broad investigation into the true causes of depression, he is calling for a different approach.
The Chemical Imbalance Myth
His amazing journey involved hundreds of interviews in over a dozen countries and led him to discover that almost everything we know about depression and anxiety is wrong.
I started to research my book, Lost Connections: Uncovering The Real Causes of Depression – and the Unexpected Solutions, because I was puzzled by two mysteries. Why was I still depressed when I was doing everything I had been told to do? I had identified the low serotonin in my brain, and I was boosting my serotonin levels–yet I still felt awful. But there was a deeper mystery still. Why were so many other people across the Western world feeling like me? Around one in five US adults are taking at least one drug for a psychiatric problem. In Britain, antidepressant prescriptions have doubled in a decade, to the point where now one in 11 of us drug ourselves to deal with these feelings. What has been causing depression and its twin, anxiety, to spiral in this way? I began to ask myself: Could it really be that in our separate heads, all of us had brain chemistries that were spontaneously malfunctioning at the same time?
He says that between 65% and 80% of people on antidepressants are depressed again within a year.
We’ve been telling ourselves this chemical story for 35 years and every year depression and anxiety gets worse.
The Power of Connection
Searching for answers to his own depression, he began a quest to solve the depression puzzle.
To find the answers, I ended up going on a 40,000-mile journey across the world and back. I talked to the leading social scientists investigating these questions, and to people who have been overcoming depression in unexpected ways–from an Amish village in Indiana, to a Brazilian city that banned advertising and a laboratory in Baltimore conducting a startling wave of experiments. From these people, I learned the best scientific evidence about what really causes depression and anxiety.
Drugs don’t heal the underlying causes of depression. In most cases, like Johann Hari’s, people aren’t even asked what’s going on in their life, or if there could be a possible cause of the depression. Johan’s research is strongly grounded in his own experience. He has battled the depression demon for much of his adult life and has a keen understanding of what it is to be depressed and all that entails.
I found there is evidence that seven specific factors in the way we are living today are causing depression and anxiety to rise–alongside two real biological factors (such as your genes) that can combine with these forces to make it worse.
During his journey of discovery he found scientific evidence that depression is caused by key issues with how we live. Seven of the nine depression causing factors he discovered are all rooted in disconnection. Disconnection from meaningful work, from other people, from meaningful values, and from childhood trauma. Disconnection from status and respect, from the natural world, and disconnection from a hopeful or secure future. Depression at its deepest roots, stems from a lack of connection. It is a disease of disconnection.
So What Does Heal Depression?
Understanding the root cause of depression is a vital first step in being able to cure it. Our longing for connection is innate. It never leaves us. Perhaps depression and anxiety are an early warning signal, an engine light alerting us to the malfunction in the car. Johann Hari says depression is a collective problem caused by something that has gone wrong with our way of living and our culture. These conditions show us there is something very wrong with the way society works. And, they give us an opportunity to make vital changes in our lives. He advocates reconnection, or what he calls a different kind of antidepressant.
Depression and anxiety might, in one way, be the sanest reaction you have. It’s a signal, saying you shouldn’t have to live this way, and if you aren’t helped to find a better path, you will be missing out on so much that is best about being human.
His new book suggests seven reconnections. We need to reconnect to other people, to social prescribing, to meaningful work, and to meaningful values. Reconnect to sympathetic joy and overcome the addiction we have to the self. We also need to acknowledge and overcome our childhood trauma and restore our future. It seems what’s called for in healing depression, is a complete and radical reconnection. To someone who’s depressed this may seem deeply overwhelming. but in a way it’s about rebuilding our lives. Rising like a phoenix from the ashes and saying: I want something different. I know there’s more out there for me, I know there’s a different way and I don’t have to do it alone.
After I learned all this, and what it means for us all, I started to long for the power to go back in time and speak to my teenage self on the day he was told a story about his depression that was going to send him off in the wrong direction for so many years. I wanted to tell him: ‘This pain you are feeling is not a pathology. It’s not crazy. It is a signal that your natural psychological needs are not being met. It is a form of grief–for yourself, and for the culture you live in going so wrong. I know how much it hurts. I know how deeply it cuts you. But you need to listen to this signal. We all need to listen to the people around us sending out this signal. It is telling you what is going wrong. It is telling you that you need to be connected in so many deep and stirring ways that you aren’t yet–but you can be, one day.
Once again, as with most things in life, the map to finding our way out of pain and back to wellbeing, is connection. As humans we are built for connection, for love, and for intimacy.
What this evidence was telling me was that this search for quick individual solutions is a trap. In fact, this search for individual solutions is part of what got us into this problem in the first place. We have become imprisoned inside our own egos, walled off where true connection cannot reach us.
Stopping the Dark Slide of Depression
His research, from experts and people all over the world, found that the real path to happiness is to dismantle our walls, and that part of overcoming our depression and anxiety is about coming together. In his own healing journey, Johann Hari made a conscious decision to reach out to others when depression set in, and to do something for someone else instead of something for himself.
I learned something I wouldn’t have thought was possible at the start. Even if you are in pain, you can almost always make someone else feel a little bit better. Or I would try to channel it into more overt political actions, to make the society better.
Amazingly he discovered doing something for others stopped the slide down into the darkness of depression. It comes back to the same thing: We need to reach out to others, not try to build ourselves up alone.
If you are depressed and anxious, you are not a machine with malfunctioning parts. You are a human being with unmet needs. The only real way out of our epidemic of despair is for all of us, together, to begin to meet those human needs–for deep connection to the things that really matter in life.

About the Author
Over the years, the description of the tyrants and psychopaths that so often occupy positions of power in our world has evolved, and today it is fashionable to refer to this nebulous group by using the term ‘Evil Cabal.’
Language is perhaps the most important device we have for creating reality, and just as George Orwell knew, the more linguistically vague, simplistic, ambiguous and nondescript the language, the more room there is to shape perception. This is called Newspeak, and in the case of the ‘Evil Cabal,’ the term fails to fully describe our complex world, but succeeds tremendously in maintaining the prison of fear that actually inhibits freedom.
In a catch-all phrase like ‘Evil Cabal,’ there really is little substance in the language to inspire meaningful action or reaction. In fact, the opposite is true. By generalizing the widespread depravity in the world with such a vague yet loaded term, the result can only be fear and inaction.
But, just for rhetorical purposes, let’s suppose for a moment that the world’s troubles can indeed be wholly attributed to a singular, top-down, all-knowing, all-controlling evil cabal that has its wicked tentacles inserted into every facet of our lives. Let’s imagine that every bit of the injustice and calamity we see is intentionally orchestrated and narrated by an untouchable group of all-mighty criminals.
If this is in fact the case, one very serious question emerges: What exactly are YOU going to do about it?
My thoughts on this are expressed below, and are derived from two decades of peering deeply into the abyss of conspiracy fact and alternative history. I’ve learned in time that such intense and singular focus on conspiracy and international wickedness is corrosive to the soul, inviting acrimony and triggering impotency into what should be the blessed, joyful gift of a life well lived.
How YOU Can Undermine the Evil Cabal
Firstly, understand that systems of political and economic control are actually more heavily dependent on the acquiescence, cooperation, and participation of many millions of people. They are much less dependent on brute force, even though the perception is that brute force controls everything. This notion is accurately presented by Larken Rose in his short animated presentation, The Tiny Dot. The acquiescent masses vastly outnumber any evildoers.
It is imperative to also understand that the world is heavily influenced by the management of public perception, and that holding onto a chiefly negative and fearful worldview severely limits your potential to create and experience the world in which you actually wish to see materialize.
Furthermore, you must recognize that taking it upon yourself to assemble and collate every possible fact and insight into every conspiracy and every nasty event is self-destructive. That is, by becoming a library of terrible truths, you are willfully imposing upon yourself a subtle but powerful form of mental slavery.
The tendency to want to convince and awaken every person you meet to your point-of-view is ultimately caustic to personal relationships and can quickly lead to isolation. Take notice of the fact that individual isolation is exceptionally beneficial to any controlling power in our world, and therefore, it is imperative to connect with others and allow them to express their own personal truths without sparking your judgement and condemnation.
So many of us today adhere to a destructive worldview, and to counter this, it is critical to set an example for others in your life by living in such a way as to inspire a love for freedom, independence and individuality. This is done, first and foremost, by giving freedom to others. Allow people the privilege to walk their own path and think their own thoughts.
Moreover, to undermine a cabal that primarily rules by psychological control, it is essential to recognize that all humans have a tendency to want to control things, and that as human beings we all share similar shadow traits. The desire to control others, and even to control nature, is evident at every level of society, meaning we are all inherently capable of extraordinary evil and cruelty. It is your duty and priority to recognize this and to manage this tendency within yourself and only yourself.
Also, remember that energy goes where attention flows. If you are totally consumed with the wicked deeds of the evil cabal, as so many otherwise righteous people are, you are inadvertently giving away your personal power and energy, thus contributing to their ability to control people with fear.
When you are engaged in an endless and all too often speculative discussion about the evil deeds of others, you are engaged in a form of worship that puts one in a state of continually imagining the uninhibited power of some other mysterious and unnamable other. This makes their power much more real than it may actually be. Stop worshipping psychopaths and evil people by giving them so much of your attention, because exposing corruption alone is not enough to create a better world. In order to see positive change we have to shift our attention to those ideas and people who are contributing to the healing of the earth and its people.
Additionally, recognize that in today’s media landscape, even those who may seem to have your best interest at heart often profit wildly from perpetuating fear and despair. We live in a viral information culture where buzzwords, distortions, and over-simplifications get clicks and earn advertising dollars. There is an enormous profit motive in keeping people teetering on the margin of despondency and hope. We’ve built an entire economy out of fear, and it’s up to you to break this cycle and smash this paradigm. You can do so by checking in with your heart and asking if the information you’re consuming is inspired by fear or by love.
Finally, use the freedom you still have. Use it right now to become the person you are supposed to be. Follow your heart and find your place, wherever it may be. If you are interested in politics or otherwise directly confronting injustice and corruption in the system, throw yourself wholly into this effort, with heart. However, if your calling is beneficial in any other way, do not diminish the positive effect that you can have on the world by simply being a force of good, big or small. If all you have to offer at this moment is a smile, use it generously.
Ultimately, there are many ways to resist evil, and as George Herbert wrote, ‘the best revenge is living well.’ Heal yourself and become an agent of joy. Whether there is, or is not, a round-table evil cabal of untouchables is ultimately irrelevant to how you live your life right now. Get on with the business of living well.
I wrote this piece as an indirect response to an email I recently received from a reader. I’m noting it here because in my position I see this sentiment quite frequently, and I feel that it needs to be called out. Here is the note in full:
I really don’t appreciate your website getting VERY POLITICAL.
I am going to quit reading it now and will recommend the same thing to all of the people I know.
Obviously, there is a lot of info you don’t know and you are wasting your time playing into the hands of the Evil Cabal. I have no time for little minds.
Clearly this person, L, cares about the world we live in and the future we create together, yet, based on my own personal experience, personal growth, and ever-evolving understanding of the world, I feel like this mindset needs to be acknowledged as counter-productive and harmful to one’s well-being and mental stability, while ultimately contributing to the oppressiveness in our world today.
It does need to be said, though, that there are undoubtedly evil people, institutions, corporations, and diabolical plans at play in our world, so again, I ask you, what exactly are you going to do about it?

Are There Other Ways to Deal With Addiction?
In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in the use of ancient shamanic medicines, and remarkably one of the most promising uses for them in the modern world is the healing of the destructive relationship we have with their modern cousins: substances of recreation and abuse.
Keep in mind that all of the shamanic medicines listed below have the potential to do harm when facilitated by practitioners who don’t have the appropriate level of training and experience.
The True Purpose of Culture… and Psychoactive Substances
Before the written word existed, knowledge was passed down through culture. In each generation, the vital information learned through life experience that could help ensure survival for future generations was encoded into story, dance, song and ceremony so that the accumulated the wisdom of that generation and all the ancestors before them could be remembered and passed on indefinitely into the future.
In the world we live in today, we may have the written word, but culture seems to have lost its original purpose of carrying information designed to prevent us from losing our way and becoming self-destructive, and potentially even leading ourselves to our own extinction.
One of the most self-destructive aspects of modern ‘culture’ is our relationship with substances that have the ability to alter our consciousness, i.e what we commonly call ‘drugs’.
Long before these self-destructive aspects of modern western culture, there was a long history of knowledge around the use of non-ordinary states. Psychoactive substances, for almost all of human history, have been used to support the original purpose of culture: to preserve and enhance our ability to survive and thrive in our environment.
Iboga and Ibogaine
The chemical compound found within iboga – ibogaine – has been found to be effective in many cases to completely cure heroin addiction (and other addictions) in a single session.
Iboga is a plant from the equatorial rainforests of West Africa. The most well-known use of this plant comes from The Bwiti tradition in Gabon, where it is used in flood doses for initiation rituals; introducing the initiate to a fully immersive and personal experience of the world of the spirits. This initiation can last for around 72 hours, where the person is in an intense and non-ordinary state. Reports from recipients often describe a strong, loving, masculine presence guiding them through and supporting them as they experience all the pain they have ever caused others – from the perspective of the person who was harmed. This is by no means the only kind of experience, however, it’s common enough to mention. Like all visionary shamanic medicines, the healing is occurring on emotional levels as well as physical. Practitioners claim that the healing also occurs on spiritual levels.
On a neurological level, ibogaine resets the opiate receptors in the brain to the state they were in before the addiction. Though, this is a double-edged sword because, on one hand, it completely removes all craving, but on the other hand it also removes tolerance. Therefore if a person relapses (often due to social reasons), there is a high risk of overdose, if the person was to take what they had come to consider a normal dose.
Ibogaine is illegal in many countries where the war on drugs still continues to escalate. It has been shown to also be effective for other forms of addiction including cocaine and methamphetamines.
Kambo a.k.a. Sapo, or Kampu
The Phyllomedusa Bicolor frog of the Amazon jungle is known as the Giant Monkey Frog for its ability to go anywhere it chooses in the jungle, including high in the canopy, and far from water. It is able to do so due to a secretion that has the two-fold effect of keeping moisture in, and being poisonous to predators. Kambo is also known as the king of the amazon, as predators know to leave it alone and it is, therefore, free to roam where it chooses without interference.
Several tribal groups in the amazon, including the Matsés, use this secretion as an intense purgative to remove parasites, flukes, and anything else that might be obstructing hunters from being at the absolute peak of their capacity to sense and track game.
Kambo could certainly be described as ordeal medicine. Think of the vomiting, sweating, and evacuation that comes with acute food poisoning and then imagine a shamanic jungle technology that causes this natural function to be switched on, on purpose, for about 20-30mins. Kambo is not a visionary medicine and the secretion is not ingested. Small, light burns take the top layer of a person’s skin off so that the frog’s secretion is able to make contact with their nervous system (by being placed on the burns).
Kambo has been effective in assisting with addiction interruption and acceleration of the withdrawal process in a wide variety of addictions, (along with a great many other ailments), according to extensive anecdotal evidence.
On a scientific level, the Kambo secretion apparently contains the highest number of peptides of any substance known to man, and more research is needed to understand it from a modern scientific perspective. It is, however, proven to have powerful analgesic effects.
This plant is being used in a method of addiction recovery known as ‘stepping down’. It is itself a mild opioid-containing plant, which is about as addictive as caffeine. People suffering from opiate addiction have experienced rapid success in getting off pharmaceutical and street opiates by switching to kratom, as a way of achieving immediate relief from withdrawal symptoms.
The person first steps down to Kratom to get off the more intensely addictive opiate and then is able to come off the Kratom with little or no problem.
Drug abusers have also long known that they can escape the pain of withdrawal from a substance like crystal meth by switching to opiates like heroin. Meth addicts are also seeing success with healing their addiction by using Kratom in a similar way, which brings the relief they seek, without the continuing harm of further drug abuse.
Cannabidiol or CBD is derived from cannabis and is useful in helping to rehabilitate the damage to the central nervous system that can come with extended drug abuse, particularly for meth users. Over the past 50 years, CBD has been progressively bred out of recreational strains of cannabis, in order to make room for more of the intoxicant, THC. CBD has many medicinal qualities including being a natural antipsychotic.
An interesting combination being explored is the combination of Kratom for addiction interruption and CBD oil for central nervous system rehabilitation in meth abusers to relieve and heal the extremely raw feelings of nerve sensitivity that can result from meth abuse.
CBD oil is illegal in many territories, despite it not being an intoxicant and having an incredible number of healing qualities already proven by science.
An excellent example of the Amazonian visionary plant medicine being used for addiction interruption can be found at the Takiwasi healing center in Peru. Prof. Jaques Mabit accepts addicts for a 9-month program, which combines the use of Ayahuasca and other non-visionary master plants from the amazon, with western psychotherapy and a live-in community environment.
Ayahuasca is used initially to assist the purging process, in order to accelerate and reduce the severity of the withdrawal period. Throughout the program, it is also helpful in allowing the participant to understand the root causes of their addiction and heal past emotional trauma.
While far from perfect, the rate of relapse and re-use is exceptional when compared to modern western rehab methods.
Canadian addiction specialist, Dr. Gabor Mate, has also seen success working with ayahuasca. You can find out more about this in the episode of ‘The Nature of Things with Davis Suzuki’, called ‘The Jungle Prescription’ at the end of this article.
Huachuma and Peyote
Huachuma, sometimes known as the San Pedro cactus, as well as its northern cousin, Peyote, both contain the visionary chemical mescaline. The cultural mecca of Huachuma is the Chavin temple complex in the Peruvian Andes, used in ancient times to allow thousands of participants to attend Huachuma rituals together. Peyote has been a medicine of tribes, such as the Huicholes in Central America who still, to this day, participate in annual pilgrimages into the desert to collect their sacred medicine. Peyote has also migrated north and can be found being used in the Native American Peyote Church.
These medicines are anecdotally known to heal heart and blood pressure problems, along with a wide variety of other ailments. There is also a great deal of success claimed around healing alcoholism, as well as other substance abuse problems.
There is a good deal of peer-reviewed evidence suggesting that psilocybin is highly effective in breaking nicotine addiction. I would not be surprised if this was the case with other addictive substances as well. A great video from ‘The Atlantic’ on the modern use of psilocybin in clinical trials, at Johns Hopkins, can be found here,
LSD is a man made substance originally derived from Ergot Fungus, which may well have been the elixir served at the Temple of Eleusis in ancient Greece. The Eleusinian Mysterieswere large scale rituals not dissimilar to those held at the Temple of Chavin in Peru. Initiates included Socrates, Aristotle, and Pythagoras and may have actually had a significant influence on inspiring the founding of western civilization.
While LSD may not be a traditional shamanic medicine, there were those who explored its potential for inducing a non-ordinary state and being used as a healing tool for almost 30 years, before it escaped the lab and was banned in the late 60’s. Remarkably, the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous was a supporter of LSD as a tool for addiction interruption.
With the ban on scientific research slowly lifting during the 90’s and 00’s, one of its most impressive clinical uses is in the treatment of alcohol addiction.
As spoken about in the Uplift article The Opposite of Addiction Is Connection, trauma, and the severance from family and community that it can cause, is very likely the underlying reason for addictive behavior.
While not a shamanic medicine in the traditional sense, MDMA is being trialed extensively in the US for use in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy, for people suffering from extreme trauma (PTSD).
The theory is that the MDMA has a mood elevating effect, allowing the participant to go into the traumatic memory and come to emotional completion, without being triggered into an experience of trauma flooding. Trauma flooding is an overwhelming and immersive experience of re-living the event, which itself is traumatic and potentially only compounds the original trauma.
MDMA-assisted psychotherapy may be helpful in finally releasing the pain and trauma at the root of a person’s addiction. Hopefully, clinical trails will give way to legalized MDMA-assisted psychotherapy by the end of this decade.
Plant-based 5MeO-DMT and Otac, The Sonoran Desert Toad
Arguably the most intense experience a human being can go through, other than their own birth or death, 5MeO-DMT consistently takes the subject into the very deepest states of non-ordinary awareness. This can include the temporary dissolution of personal identity and a sense of return to the oceanic oneness at the essence of all existence.
Participants report having the experience of becoming all of the infinity of existence. Transpersonal psychotherapist and theorist, Prof. Stan Grof suggests that this unitive state of oceanic oneness may be exactly what we are all craving, and may be the underlying desire at the root of all addiction.
Perhaps this state of oneness is where we came from and where we return to, and during the time we exist in this physical reality, we can experience an immense pain of separation from this state of oneness.
5MeO-DMT participants often return with a feeling that this sense of separation causing them pain is actually just an illusion, and that we are in fact always in a state of connection to ‘the source’ or to the infinite unity of all things. This separation may be the original trauma; the original feeling of disconnection discussed in my previous Uplift article ‘The Opposite of Addiction is Connection’.
Perhaps this is a clue as to why crack cocaine addicts, meth addicts, and others have been assisted in abstaining and recovering by working with what is arguably the most intense shamanic medicine of all.
The sweat lodge is one of the earliest known shamanic ceremonies. It is a ritual cleanse which involves literally crawling into a warm, damp, dark womb-like environment and going through the ordeal of intense heat, for usually four rounds that correspond with the four directions, and then having the opportunity to crawl out again renewed.
Pain and intense experiences such as ritual ordeals have the potential to open up a heightened state of neuroplasticity, so if a person wishes to change an unhelpful behavior pattern, an ordeal ritual can be helpful. Addiction is one of the most challenging behavior patterns possible so it may take a series of sweats to rewire our neural pathways, and also sweat out the toxicity of the addictive substance and its associated lifestyle. If medicines that induce psychedelic visions aren’t your cup of tea, then working with a traditional sweat lodge may be a helpful path for you.
Another method of clearing trauma used in shamanic cultures was working with the breath to flood the body and brain with oxygen; triggering a non-ordinary state. This can allow for the rapid re-arrangement of things within our consciousness that have become misaligned, including the release of trauma. In this instance, just as deep breathing can bring the pain of physical injury down from a something like an 8/10 to a 5 or 6/10, so too can the deep breathing of a breathwork ceremony dilute emotional pain. For those who are dubious about the thought of MDMA as a medicine, or those who can’t wait for years for it to become legal, breathwork could be a good avenue for releasing the underlying trauma at the root of the addictive behavior.
How and Why Do These Medicines Work?
One peer reviewed paper at a time, science seems to be proving psychedelic theorist James Kent correct on his hypothesis that psychedelic substances bring about a state of accelerated or enhanced neuroplasticity. This is an important point relating to why ceremonial use is so different to recreational use. When people take these kinds of substances casually, it seems increasingly likely that they are in a heightened state of being able to rewire their own brain… but towards what exactly? The randomness of a party or festival? On the other hand, a ceremonial setting encourages focused work on a chosen intention which means the neuroplasticity isn’t rewiring ones brain into randomness at best and a tangled mess at worst, it is instead wiring the brain towards a greater state of coherence around the person’s chosen intention for healing or personal growth.
It is my contention that this extends to ordeal medicines such as sweat lodge, vision quest and initiation rituals involving pain. Consider when the first time you burned yourself on a hot stove. Pain causes extremely accelerated neuroplaticity, helping it become ‘burned’ into our memory to never make the same mistake again. I feel it is likely that over the coming years we will see clear evidence to show that indigenous initiations involving ordeals are a technology for bringing about a non-ordinary state and a heightened state of neuroplasticity so that the lore and law of their culture can be passed on and never forgotten. We may even find that all forms of non-ordinary states bring about varying degrees of enhanced neuroplasticity.
There may be no behaviour pattern more ingrained than substance addiction, so it’s easy to see why non-addictive substances which enhance neuroplasticity may be of benefit.
"Drugs are about dulling perception, about addiction and about behavioral repetition. What psychedelics are about is pattern-dissolving experiences of an extraordinarily high or different awareness. They are the exact opposite of drugs. They promote questioning, they promote consciousness, they promote value examinations, they promote the reconstruction of behavioral patterns." – Terrence Mckenna
A Final Tip
Should you wish to explore any of these options it is important to thoroughly understand the legality of these medicines in the territory in which you live. Travel to another country may be required.
When choosing a practitioner, look for people who are, without any doubt, in service to the good of all instead in service to them self above others. Humility, reverence, and self-discipline are key qualities to seek out. It’s also best to seek references from people who have had similar challenges to you, and have been successfully helped by the practitioner you are considering.

“Crazy Horse dreamed and went into the world where there is nothing but the spirits of all things. That is the real world that is behind this one, and everything we see here is something like a shadow from that one.” ~Black Elk, Black Elk Speaks
“Modern man, I dutifully noted, is in search of a soul, and the age is an age of longing.” ~Theodore Roszak, Where the Wasteland Ends
Perhaps the reason some of us are feeling a sense of loss and longing is that we are, as Black Elk informs us, living in the shadow world. Our reality on this side may only be the fleeting ghosts of a place that is more real somewhere else. On this side we have broken our commitment to the earth and have unsouled ourselves from the wilderness. By the first century CE, the essayist Plutarch was asking, “Why is it that the gods are no longer speaking to us?”
For a long time now, we have been trying to create a new and different image of ourselves. It is an image where modern humanity is placed at the center of its own universe. We learn by observing, probing, experimenting, and finally dissecting and destroying the dynamic world we live within. From this, the modern mind started to develop a new reality for itself.
The collective reality in which we now reside does not take kindly to opposing perspectives. We have inherited an alienated consciousness that views the world as an outside entity – a world of objects that move in mechanical motion. This alienated consciousness has substituted the enchantment and mystery of living within a dynamic and animated world with a dream of the artificial, and ultimately the unreal. The modern landscape is now more scattered with administration than adventure. The central image of our modern age has been that of consumerism: the ability of the average person to buy the material goods they require in order to have a decent standard of living. A standard of living albeit promoted to us through our mainstream media and glamorous propaganda.
Only recently have some of us come to realize that consumerism has now become a contemporary form of crash therapy for unsatisfied people wanting to buy their way into happiness to escape from the very system they are simultaneously supporting. The easy acquisition of things has become more about trying to cover up anxiety as a substitute for contentment. Modern life, especially in the highly-developed West, is now rife with people parading their false selves in place of authenticity.
The modern history of the West has been about the removal of mystery, mind, and magic from the world around us. In the past there were realms of wilderness that existed outside of the social order, and each culture had these ‘wild zones’ where people danced with the little folk in the woods, undertook initiations in caves, circles, and hard-to-find corners. There were pagan rituals, crazy ecstasies, and unknown zones where primal energies were released. These were the places of wilderness, where dreamtime reigned, and clock-time was banned. And now these wild places are fewer and fewer as a new ‘reality order’ becomes the manifesto of the day. Now it is many of us who are feeling haunted. We have lost the presence of the ‘transcendent’ within our modern societies.
We must now recognize that something has happened – a break, a mutation, has occurred that has placed us in an ‘intermediate’ stage between eras. Modern life is being not so much rewritten as reconfigured. We are seeing odd things occurring in relation to time, speed, and distance. It’s as if right now the clock, and our sense of timing, is malfunctioning. This ahistorical period is out of time, until it resets itself. And here, the possibility of transcendence lingers like a phantasma.
We are in a time of carnivalesque distortion where ‘fast food’ is a parody of our normal food preparation and consumption; mediatized sport is a spectacle of its original form; and the music industry is one huge commercial carnival that mocks genuine creativity. In the pop music industry, the spectacle, the live show – the ‘carnival performance’ – is often more important than the actual merit of the song (even when the performer mimes, as they often do). We are in a different world right now – or at least a seemingly different reality.
In this new world of different relations, symbols, and meanings we have become unmoored from our harbors. We are talking about the fractal, the quantum, the molecular, the nano, the bots, artificial intelligence, and the singularity – yet we find we have no soulful connection with any of these terms or their significances. Perhaps we have entered a void-time.
The Sense of the Void
With human life having lost its reference to transcendence and the notion of the sacred, there is the ever-present danger that we may descend to a form of human morality that lacks any real meaning or higher principles. It is not hard to believe that a degree of inertia has crept into our modern societies. The result is that many of us may now be finding ourselves with a hollow space inside. This space becomes the perfect seedbed for the consuming desires, distractions, and attractions of modernity’s excesses. Within such an environment we wonder whether we may find ourselves waking up to a world where the dream is still dreaming itself and we can no longer distinguish what is real.
An age of the quantifiable has been ushered in and everyone, and everything, gets given a mark or a measurement. Ever since the industrial age brought in the points system – the marking scores – into mass education we’ve been carrying numbers around with us. Before then, students were known as apprentices and they spent time embedded in their discipline learning its skills. They either learnt great skills or they didn’t; now they get an 85, a 78, a 66, or a 45. Now all modern institutions think in numbers and our social status is quantified by such numbers, or grades, that allow us into other specialized zones – such as the members clubs, the elite institutions, or even into the ‘good credit’ rating books. The organic nature and capacity of a person has been stripped down to the quantifiable, and this measures the worth of an individual according to such grades. These associated numbers then follow the person around for the rest of their lives, influencing their careers, associations, and social freedoms. Society is now painting-by-numbers.
The mesmerizing void that is modern life tries to appease us with simulated pleasures. Through our unsouling from the greater transcendent wilderness we have become all too easily appeased by seeking inadequate answers to life’s meaning. By not seeking for the essential, we cannot hope to be anything other than temporary. Within the past century millions of people in developed parts of the world have distanced and divorced themselves from nature. We are negotiating how to adapt to a world structured within an increasingly artificial environment. The mutational shift is well underway, and new arrangements will need to be sought.
A potential lack of understanding can disconnect us from a world that is at the same time becoming increasingly connected. For thousands of years our ancestors lived alongside natural forces, learning from environmental cycles, and reading the world around them. This uncoupling from the wilderness is not only in favor of urban settings but eventually artificially constructed settings that will soon be made ‘smart.’ The profusion of what are called ‘mega-cities’ are set to implement ‘smart’ technologies which will be a combination of connected information and communication infrastructures.
A Moment of Reflection
We are, it is said, the most highly-developed and articulate species on planet Earth, and yet we live in a world of reflections. We are doomed never to be able to see directly our own faces. Our face, as well as our ‘true face’ as they say, is non-visible to us; and so we are guided by reflections and their appearances.
There is a short-story from Argentinean writer Jorge Luis Borges entitled ‘Fauna of Mirrors’ that tells of a time during the reign of the Yellow Emperor when the world of mirrors and the world of men were not, like today, cut off from one another.[i] Both kingdoms lived in harmony and each could come and go through the mirrors. Yet one night the mirror people invaded the earth and a mighty battle ensued until finally the magic arts of the Yellow Emperor prevailed. The mirror people were pushed back and imprisoned into their mirrors, and punished by being forced to repeat, as if in a dream, all the actions of the world of men. They were stripped of their power and their forms and reduced to mere reflections. A day will come, however, when the magic spell will be broken and little by little these reflections will awaken and will slowly differ from us. Then they will stop imitating the world of humans and eventually they will break through the glass once again to enter the earth.
They say that life imitates art far more than art imitates life. Upon reflection, every culture and society claim a portion of our private psyche as its own. With the narrowing of our sensibilities comes not only a much-diminished reality but also a contracted perspective whereby this condensed form of perception and visibility becomes as hyperreality to us. If it’s true that modern life has muffled the call of transcendental mystery, then it is equally true that it has made transcendence both a more needed and yet more difficult promise. The cry for the ‘death of the soul’ and the unsouling from the wilderness has helped to pave the slippery path toward a simplified hyperreality that is now stealing the show. Fasten seatbelts…
A Bardo Chat with: Aranyani, Hindu Goddess of the Forests
Author (A): Hello Aranyani. Are you there?
Aranyani (Ai): (short pause) Hello…hello!
A: Hello Aranyani. How are you today?
Ai: Today? Why today? I don’t have days like you do.
A: Ah yes, sorry. I was thinking in my own terms of time. It’s a frequent trap!
Ai: That’s okay, we understand. Traps are there to break out of. I am good, thank you. I am well.
A: That is good to hear. I am glad to know you are well amidst all this disconnection going on right now.
Ai: Disconnection? I am gently strolling through my forests. There is no disconnection (another short pause). All is well here.
A: Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant disconnection between us, humans, and the natural world. It seems that we’ve done a terrible job of respecting Nature and our environment.
Ai: Mmm, yes, that is so. I am not fond of strolling too near to your civilizations. But why do you call it a job? You see, already you show a wrong way to look at things. Your way of words shows how your mind thinks. Looking after the natural world, as you put it, is not a ‘job.’ It is a recognition of respect, or mutual interdependence, and of compassion and love.
A: Sorry again. I know that I use my words too loosely. It is the way we use phrases here.
Ai: Yes, I know how your species is. For one thing, you don’t listen at all very well. You consider yourselves as a separate species. My dear, nothing is separate. You see space between bodies and you label this as separation. You think and behave like children, and Nature is your forgiving mother.
A: I know, we’ve got a lot of things back-to-front. Would you care to explain more on this relationship?
Ai: (a soft sigh) Maybe a little. Everything communicates here, it always has. You don’t necessarily need a mouth or words or letters to communicate. It all communicates energetically, and you humans are also attuned to this. Every part was supposed to work together. You are strange in that you forgot how to properly listen. And now you build devices outside of yourselves to wrap around the earth – but you don’t need them. And there will be a time when you shall know this, and learn to communicate correctly, as you were always meant to – and not with your machine things. All of nature is alive, don’t you know that?
A: Yes, some of us do; but not enough, unfortunately.
Ai: You knew better before, a long time ago.
A: Yes, I have a feeling we did. Yet we now need to learn how to know in a different way.
Ai: Well….. (long pause)
A: Hello, are you there Aranyani?
Ai: Oh yes, sorry, I was dancing. I have a tune in my head. It’s been given to me from the trees.
A: Wonderful! I was saying that we need to learn how to know in a different way.
Ai: That’s not really how it is. Learning, knowing, and all these things – it’s all head stuff. You live too much in your heads. You always think you need to grab onto something – to know better, and the like. I would say you have to open up more, and to remember everything that was placed inside you. You are coming to a different place now…
A: Yes, thank you. And what do you mean by ‘coming to a different place’?
Ai: I mean you are not in your little tribal units anymore. You are now all over the earth. You grew and connected as you should, and now you are coming to a time when you can really be of help to the earth.
A: You mean as a global species?
Ai: (laughs) You and your fancy words. Yes, you are connecting more strongly with the body of Gaia now. Soon you will find your minds being changed for you. That should be fun!
A: Ah, and what do you mean by that?
Ai: (hums to herself) I don’t feel I should reveal too much just now. Not too many of you have realized that your minds are attuned to Gaia, your planet consciousness. Consciousness is not only those thoughts in your head, silly! (laughs). This is the true language, the natural language, and it is everywhere. This language flows through the trees, the plants, the animals, and through all of Gaia. There is a language that connects, and the humans are disconnected from this. Yes, that is the true disconnection. You talk about disconnect from Nature, but really it is disconnection from your shared language. You speak in tongues but only babble silly words.
A: Yes, true – we do babble a lot.
Ai: Babble, babble, yes you do! Like that story you tell yourselves. You call it the Tower of Babel, right?
A: Yes, that’s true. And it’s a perfect analogy. We tried to build a tower to our Creator and we ended up being divided in languages through our ignorance.
Ai: Yes, that’s it right there. You were disconnected through your ignorance.
A: Mm…yes (sighs)
Ai: Don’t worry, dear. You still have it all inside of you. Your connection to Origin and the universal language is still there. And you are not disconnected from us either. You are always with us, and you always have been.
A: Okay, sure. And thanks. But by being with you always are we not making the balance of Nature worse?
Ai: Oh, dear ones – it’s always about you, isn’t it!? Let me tell you that Nature is far more capable of taking care of herself than you are. Things change, yes. And you are making a mess and not clearing up your mess, like children. This is true too. Yet so many more things come to pass that are not in your hands – that is Nature. She is so far beyond your comprehension of her. You think of these separate things within Nature, like the trees and the forests, and the rivers. But you cannot yet see them as being all together as a wondrous Being. She is a Being far beyond your little minds. And she cares for you. Little children, wake up!
A: Yes, yes.
Ai: Be more joyful and love the things you have, and which surround you. The disconnection you speak of is less from Nature and more from yourselves (starts to sing)
A: That is so true – thank you.
Ai: I have to go now…byeee (voice fades into distance)
A: Yes, thank you Aranyani – bye!

The information age is changing entirety. It has changed and continues to change so rapidly that many of us, many times, find ourselves playing catch-up, not just with trends of communication but also with shifts in the flow of information itself.
The internet provides access to information and education on everything from politics to physics. Indeed we are presently more capable of being knowledgeable than other group of people to have ever lived. Internet communication devices are almost like having a key to the Akashic Field; we can tap into practically all information anywhere on Earth.
However this ‘mechanical Akashic’ is also layered with the ill-mindedness and untruths that pervade this physical realm today. For this reason, we have to learn to distinguish between knowledge and piles. Our access to knowledge does not necessarily equate to wisdom (knowledge being the possession of information, and wisdom being the inclination to be productive with that information.) So it is up to each of us, not the government or its cohorts, to determine for ourselves what information is real and relevant, and what is ‘fake news’ or propaganda.
Information vs. the Status Quo
The world is on the precipice of change. The information age has the power to challenge the structures of the status quo. It even has the potential to eliminate the influence of money over the election of our leaders, since all candidates can be offered equal communication platforms which enable them all (and their policies) equally, so that those with the best ideas are elected and not the wealthiest corporate-funded noisemaker who can buy support and advertising time on corporate media.
Indeed, there are so many ways that the information age could completely shift the oligarchical collectivism of the power structures of the world in favor of individuals instead of institutions. So, instead of expanding our reach of information – instead of inspiring individuals to dig for truth and research for realness – the institutional powers-that-be are constricting the field of information. This is particularly obvious with recent challenges to net neutrality — a neutrality that 87% of average Americans support, but which institutions are nonetheless seeking to destroy.
This constriction of ideas has expanded to the point that anything esoteric or challenging to the mainstream media narrative is being covertly and overtly belittled, or outright censored, while at the same time, militaristic propaganda is put forth through the mainstream media, who refuse to genuinely analyze or criticize the actions of its government cohort. A clear example is the distinct absence of any pacifists in the mainstream news media even questioning our government’s policy of aggressive intervention, as the U.S. government continues to incite conflict with other nations under the guise of ‘humanitarianism’ and ‘peace’.
Moreover, mainstream media has been found repeatedly obscuring and falsifying ‘news’, while blacking-out important stories completely – clearly demonstrating it is working to corporate and government allegiances and agendas. Just look at the countless global events being reported by the underground news and compare it to the selective, politically-biased fear-fare of the mainstream; there is little journalistic integrity on display in the mainstream media, just the regurgitation of B.S. And lots of it. As a result, public confidence in mainstream news has steadily declined over recent years while “alternative media” has risen in its place, filling the void of real news, views and analyses that go unheard and unexamined in mainstream circles. (For a deeper examination of the ways institutions lie, please read my article A Tangible Math Lesson – Four Types of Institutional Lies.)
And therein lies the impetus for institutions to censor the internet. The role of journalism used to be about holding institutions to transparent accountability. But today, the major institutions of the world — a network of corporate, government, media and religious bodies — are withholding truth and information concerning everything from politics to physics while offering their own biased input, which is often completely bogus subterfuge designed to maintain control and consensus. Events and views reported in the mainstream are filtered, distorted and even blatantly constructed by media corporations that conceal their corporate and political alliances behind the guise of “news” and “journalism”. Why else do you think facts are being labelled as “alternative” or “fake news”, governments are attempting to censor and de-neutralize the internet, and the mainstream media fails to report on major world events while circulating others on endless repeat? (See: Mainstream Media Propaganda – “Extremely Dangerous to Our Democracy”.)
Undoubtedly, such selectivity of the news and information made available to the general population proves an institutional agenda that pivots upon the limitation and suppression of information – and that can only equal bad news for a supposedly free society.
“The mass media serve as a system for communicating messages and symbols to the general populace. It is their function to amuse, entertain, and inform, and to inculcate individuals with the values, beliefs, and codes of behavior that will integrate them into the institutional structures of the larger society. In a world of concentrated wealth and major conflicts of class interest, to fulfill this role requires systematic propaganda.”~Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media by Edward S. Herman and Noam Chomsky
Truth-Seeking: A Revolutionary Act
Corrupted institutions, to one extent or another, enslave individuals to those institutions. Government institutions corrupt law and legality. Religious institutions corrupt spirituality. Corporate institutions corrupt trade. Media institutions corrupt thinking. Financial institutions have corrupted our economy. Today, such institutional corruption is so rampant that it has become the unspoken normalcy, and speaking up to it is quietly viewed as disruption, dissent, and even illness.
Our institutions are designed to limit our access to knowledge and therefore, our thinking, and promote zealotry and elitism as the new political ideal — and as a result, many in our society are unable to comprehend the difference between legal and moral much less why the two have diverged.
So what’s the solution? Open information.
Open information liberates individuals. The reason the words library and liberty have the same etymological root is because of the freeing and empowering nature of information. So, no matter which individual or institution is presenting information, it is the responsibility of us all to interpret, consider and research the truth of everything – from politics to physics.
In our society, some choose to understand while some choose to stand over others. This is done through controlling information initially, and then controlling resources. Once information and resources are controlled, authorizing further actions that solidify the institutional status quo is easy. The institutions of the world are working together to ensure that they remain the holders of power and prosperity, for it is through institutions that individuals gain a foothold to stand over others. As history has shown us, empire serves no-one but itself.
So, to ensure our liberty we must also ensure the integrity of our library. The information age not only invites but requires that we expand our consciousness and our comprehension, not limit it. We do not need to funnel the pool of information into the narrow mainstream, we need to expand our minds and increase the numbers of sources of information. We don’t need corrupted governments or wealthy media corporations telling us what is true or important; the more information we have access to the more easily we can spot the information with bias and information that is untrue.
The First Amendment is designed to prevent the institutional, monothematic takeover of the media, and preserve and inspire our right to consider for ourselves what is truth. It is a fundamental tenet of the U.S.A. (and the free world) that “Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.” If we limit our sources of information, we limit the potential of our thinking and eventually, we may just have one modality of information, or even just one book to draw information from.
In the age of information, do you want access to an infinite source of information, or just one source of information? The choice is obvious.
“In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” — George Orwell

Freemasonry or Masonry consists of fraternal organizations that trace their origins to the local fraternities of stonemasons, which from the end of the fourteenth century regulate the qualifications of stonemasons and their interaction with authorities and clients. The degrees of freemasonry retain the three grades of medieval craft guilds, those of Apprentice, Journeyman or fellow (now called Fellowcraft), and Master Mason. These are the degrees offered by the Craft (or Blue Lodge) Freemasonry. Members of these organizations are known as Freemasons or Masons. There are additional degrees, which vary with locality and jurisdiction, and are usually administered by different bodies than the craft degrees.
The basic, local organizational unit of Freemasonry is the Lodge. The Lodges are usually supervised and governed at the regional level (usually coterminous with either a state, province, or national border) by a Grand Lodge or Grand Orient. There is no international, worldwide Grand Lodge that supervises all of Freemasonry; each Grand Lodge is independent, and they do not necessarily recognize each other as being legitimate.
Modern Freemasonry broadly consists of two main recognition groups. Regular Freemasonry insists that a volume of scripture is open in a working lodge, that every member profess belief in a Deity, that no women are admitted, and that the discussion of religion and politics is banned. Continental Freemasonry is now the general term for the "liberal" jurisdictions who have removed some, or all, of these restrictions.
This is a MASTER MASON level collection exploring the history and ideology of Freemasonry up to the 33rd degree.

Dialogue between a master A and his pupil B:
B: The Universe, or what is referred to as ‘space’, seems to be a kind of ethereal void, populated here and there by stars, planets, occasional meteors, comets and such like.
A: The Universe seems like a vast and mysterious place, but when you consider that it is contained within a dew drop or a human cell, it becomes less distant. In fact, it becomes very immediate.
I refer, of course, to the microcosmic condensation of the macrocosm.
What is ‘space’? It is not what it seems. The word does not describe the reality. It seems void because you are only using your five senses to analyse it. There is no ‘space’, the area referred to is full of energy. An energy field. But you don’t recognize that which you can’t experience with your five senses.
B: What other sense do we possess, other than that which recognizes reality through touch, sight, taste, smell and sound?
A: We have our perception and intuition; these are receptors that pick up vibrational messages due to the absolute interconnectivity of all matter and energy. When you connect up with the source of all that is, you find that you are part of it, not distant from it. You cannot observe or experience it dispassionately – from a distance – because you yourself are part of the composition.
B: But rational observation forms the basis of all science, it enables us to understand the nature and structure of things, including the Universe. We want to understand how and what life is.
A: Such curiosity is a perfectly acceptable condition in mankind, but it arrives at the wrong answers;
unless man feels himself to be part of that which he observes. Not only this, but recognizes that he effects that which he focuses upon. Both intentionally and unintentionally.
B: How is this achieved?
A: One cannot say ‘how’ it is achieved, unless one is prepared to come at it from the opposite dimension and perception from that which one is accustomed to, in one’s experience of everyday life.
A: What we experience in our typical daily lives is that which operates, almost exclusively, within the realm of the five senses. Take sight: Visible light- what we ‘see’ – constitutes less than 0.5% of what is actually ‘out there’ in our Universe. Or ‘in here’ within our microcosmic and internal Universe. So we cannot understand, within the scientific discipline which belongs to the Newtonian school of thought, how and what life is, if we only rely upon our five senses to reach our conclusion. There is a missing dimension.
B: What holds us back from being able to experience this missing dimension?
A: Almost everything which forms the experience of what we call life, here on Earth. We operate within a three-dimensional framework which has become so institutionalized that we take it to be the sum total of everything that is. Whereas actually, it constitutes something quite alien and divorced from the true state of existence: that which we experience in the fourth dimension and beyond.
B: Tell me more about the fourth dimension and beyond..
A: You already know something about this. When you fall asleep and dream, you are entering this dimension, subconsciously. When you get an ‘inkling’ about something – and then find that this inkling turned out to be true – you are also touching the fourth dimension. The problem is that, most of the time, you dismiss these experiences as being irrelevant to the tasks and needs to which you address yourself. Those tasks which form the daily diet of a materialistically aligned world. That superficial repetitive pattern which forms the central point of focus of life on earth at this time. That which broadly operates within what we call ‘the status quo’.
B: I want to understand what this ‘other dimension’ is and how to have greater access to it. I do get these ‘inklings’ from time to time, but never really questioned where they come from.
A: Alright. Intellectually, you can already get closer to the higher dimensions by using something of what (well focused) three-dimensional thinking has already been able to ascertain, concerning further dimensions.
Take that chair you’re sitting on. It appears to be hard, doesn’t it? But actually, when seen/experienced from the higher dimensional state, it is not. It is just a mass of whirling atoms, clustering together in such a way as to provoke the sense of shape and form we call a chair. If we understand correctly from science what atoms are, we would not describe them as ‘hard’. Simply as ‘energy’. Mutable energy.
Now, look at me, or look at yourself. We too, seen from the higher dimension, are also a whirling mass of energetic particles (called atoms). The only difference between us and the chair, is that we are imbued with a whole host of sentient, sensitive attributes which operate on a vibrational wave length tuned to a different (higher) frequency than that of the chair.
The fourth dimension and beyond, is actually our true home – where we come from. And in it, we exist as spirit energy. This spirit experiences life as a quantum event. Everything interconnected with everything, everywhere, at all times. This quantum state is our true reality, and everything else is a falsehood.
B: A falsehood?
A: Yes, because in our true state we are at one with all creation. Which means at one with our Creator. The Divine Source of all that Is. Whereas, in a purely five sense, three-dimensional state of existence, we do not allow ourselves access to the vibrational waves of higher awareness that constitute the true universal state of reality. The 99.5% of existence we think of as ‘beyond the realms of possibility’.
B: Is this ‘lack of connection’ the cause of our seemingly endless problems, here on Earth? Are we really living in such a tiny match box and imagining we are having a universal experience?
A: Essentially, yes. We experience most of our lives as something completely divorced from what Life actually Is. This has not come about by chance. It is a design which has been imposed upon mankind by a force whose motivation is alien to the will of the Creator, yet which vampires energy from creation. However, since we are gifted with powers that originate with our Creator, but have largely failed to apply them, we are complicit in the problem. We possess all that is needed to return life on Earth to its true state of creative resonance, but fail to do so.
We have instead, allowed ourselves to be won-round by an alien force and its accompanying false agenda: its deception. So, as we awaken to our true reality, we must use the creative, imaginative powers with which we are richly endowed, to dismiss the three-dimensional imposter. The imposer of the three-dimensional deception – that we have confused with reality. The task of mankind is to rediscover and re-establish its connection to the source of all life.
B: Are we making any progress in that direction?
A: It is called ‘waking-up’. This is an apt expression, as it suggests coming round from a state of unproductive dormancy. Universal energies, whose origins are the higher dimensions, are manifesting strongly on planet Earth at this time. The pace is quickening. The attempt to block that quickening pace and its accompanying awakening, is equally manifesting itself, increasingly obliquely. As a result, people are experiencing a critical confluence of disparate forces. The feeling, for many, is of being pulled apart; a type of dying.
The man and woman emerging out of this storm will be closer to their true state of being. Much closer. They will understand that they embody both sides of the disparate energy mix now manifesting. The alien and the true state.
They will recognize that both the creator and the destroyer exist within, and that each individual has the power of ‘free will’ to choose which to nourish into fullness. They will discover that they are in possession – and always have been – of higher instinctual and intuitive energies. Energies which, when properly directed, make it possible to avoid returning to a repetition of past errors.
They will realize that the source of their power is not their own. Does not belong to them, but is an inherited gift, a seed, whose origins rest with their Creator. Thus, rather than puff themselves up with false pride, they will honour the source from which their divine powers emanate. The life to come, here on earth and beyond, will be uniquely directed towards building upon the fruits of this deepening recognition.
In this way God and Man will be reunited – to put it better – will rediscover their unity. Their oneness. And the quantum Universe, with open arms, will welcome back the profusion of its presently disconnected and alienated parts, and thus become whole.
At that moment, the dance of all joyous dances will manifest throughout. And the purpose of Life will be revealed.
B: Blessed be that day!

We’ve known for a very long time that watching television has a profound effect on brainwaves and states of consciousness, and that the more television people watch, the more likely they are to be obese, unhealthy and dumbed down. This is how TV works.
Television is part of daily life for so many people, and parents and child caregivers are often quick to use the TV as an activity for toddlers and even babies, at a time when their young brains are developing at a rapid rate. It’s one thing for adults to choose to destroy themselves with television, but kids don’t really choose, the television is so seductive that once it is on, young children cannot manage to ignore it.
Television is a drug for children, automatically gripping their minds and holding their consciousness captive.
But what is it really doing? A recent research study into the effects of TV on toddlers found out some startling things about how spending too much time in front of TV affects a child’s decision-making processes as they grow up.
The study actually isolated the television watchers from those who use smartphones, ipads and handheld dqevices, by looking at people born before this boom in technology.
Toddler TV time was found to morph into undesirable adolescent habits, such as consuming unhealthy food (fast food, prepared food, sports drinks, and sweet or salty snacks, to name a few) and being less likely to eat breakfast on weekdays. Every 1-hour-13-minute increase in daily television watching as toddlers linked to “a 8.2 percent increased risk of unhealthy eating habits…a 13.3 percent increase in BMI.” The results also indicated a risk of less engagement in school.
“Lifestyle habits not only affect metabolic risk but may also influence personal success outcomes,” the researchers concluded. “These independent relationships, observed more than a decade later, suggest a need for better parental awareness of the way children invest their limited waking hours could affect their long-term life course trajectories.” [Source]
The study, entitled, Prospective associations between toddler televiewing and subsequent lifestyle habits in adolescence, notes the following highlights:
The conclusions are straightforward, and should serve as a compliment with what we today know about the dangers of obesity and it’s link to major diseases like cancer. A child that begins life developing the habit of regularly over-watching television is being put on a trajectory of poor health, deadly disease, and being less engaged mentally in their world.

Dylan Charles, Editor
In 2015, Matt Drudge of Drudge Report issued a warning to all independent journalist and individuals participating in the information revolution. He warned that we were swiftly entering the era of extreme information censorship, made possible by the monopolization, corporatization and homogenization of the web by megalithic corporations like Google, Facebook and Twitter. Their aim, he notes, is to force all of us to operate on their playgrounds rather than create truly independent outlets.
Essentially, he was describing a culture war – an attempt to force us all into a severe state of groupthink, and he urged us to immediately start creating our own vision for the net, something that operates outside of the corporate internet ghettos which have essentially stolen our content, ideas and creativity.
“You’re playing in Google’s hell-pit. Make your own place. The internet allows you to make your own dynamic, your own universe. Why are you gravitating towards somebody else’s universe?
“I don’t know why they’ve been successful in pushing everyone into these little ghettos. These Facebooks, and these Tweets, and these Instagrams. This is ghetto, this is corporate, they’re taking your energy and you’re getting nothing in return. Nothing.
“There’s no difference from any of these websites. What’s the difference between the websites? Between a Slate, or a Salon, or a Buzzfeed, or a HuffPo, what is the DIFFERENCE? There isn’t any. And this is a travesty. It’s almost like a weird conglomerate of groupthink that has developed, in a dynamic era that should be vibrating. It should be vibrating, it should be controversial. Stop operating in their playground!”
“So, I’m here to say… to be an independent American, in a big way. If your calling is media, fine. If your calling s sports, whatever it is… but you’ve got to be the greatest you can be, NOW.” ~Matt Drudge
Well, fast forward two years to the present, and the censorship is here in a big way. These massive corporations who’ve spent the last decade-plus corralling us all onto their domains are now selectively booting personalities and ideas from their platforms, in the hopes that it will force them out of business and shut them down.
For example, we’ve had our YouTube page deleted with no clear or even halfway comprehensible reason. All of our appeals have been instantly denied by robots. Facebook has reduced the reach by our page with 600k+ subscribers by literally 99.5%. Again, this has been done without reason or explanation, and issuing an appeal is like begging the Wizard of Oz for favor. And pretty much on a weekly basis nowadays we receive notifications from Google that various articles on our site have been demonitized for violating one mysterious code or another.
But just as so many things in life, what at first appears to be a setback or an obstacle is in reality an opportunity which wasn’t evident until the comfort of complacency was removed.
And this is why there is a tremendous upside in all of this.
When a business dumps their best and most active clients for spurious or disingenuous reasons they are shooting themselves in the foot and triggering their own demise. These companies will not survive.
Beyond that, however, is a bigger picture.
This type of censorship, through demonitization, ghost-banning, page-blocking, de-indexing, blocking, censoring, and removing, is the very thing that will finally bring about the realization of the full potential of the independent individual on the net.
For far too long we’ve been complacent and lazy about creating an internet that truly serves to connect humans in a meaningful and beneficial way. For a time, we were all convinced that the paychecks involved in AdSense revenue were the opportunity, but now we know they were the honey trap.
The amazing thing is that not only will this bring about their own economic demise, but it is also already inspiring a new wave of technology and effort with the aim of decentralizing and circumnavigating this type of top-down corporate control of ideas and information.
It’s already happening. Bill Ottman of Minds.com was on Fox News with Tucker Carlson explaining how an AdSense ban on their platform had caused them to begin development of a transparent, independent, blockchain advertising network. And the developers of Urbit are working on creating an entirely new decentralized version of the internet. These are just two examples of many hundreds.
Just as a baby who is necessarily weened from their mother in order to gain independence, we are being kicked off the corporate teet of the internet, and are now being given a chance to create our own internet. Given that we are ultimately beings of pure potential operating in an environment with extraordinary technological capacity and unlimited tools, we really can’t lose.
We are being set free of our dependence on these corporate control freaks.
Those who still want to be in this game will find and create new, exciting and far more interesting ways of attracting and maintaining audiences and connecting with like-minded souls around the planet. This is wonderful news.
After all, economic necessity is the mother of invention, and they’re giving us no choice but to evolve without them. Long live independent and vibrant self-expression.
I briefly spoke about this paradigm shift in a recent interview with Vin Armani. Have a listen here:

Yes, you can change your DNA, but Quantum Intelligence alters it from a more profound (subtle yet powerful) energetic level that is measurable and real. Once we understand how Quantum Intelligence works, we can more easily help the process of altering our DNA along – to achieve greater health, happiness, and remarkable spiritual transformation. Like a potter creating a masterwork, we can also change our bodies and minds with the help of a few simple tools.
With all the talk of altering our DNA, sometimes it is good to understand exactly how this process might work, from both a physical and a non-physical perspective.
The ability to influence our DNA is now undeniable, both cellular biologists, and geneticists alike are beginning to understand epi-genetic interplay, a Greek term meaning “beyond genetics.”
Bruce Lipton, and others have made it clear that we can alter heritable traits in our gene expression that do not involve the underlying DNA sequence. We change the phenotype without changing the genotype. But this single change causes a host of natural and phenomenal changes in the human body and mind.
At least three systems are involved in altering our DNA from a purely physical standpoint: DNA methylation, histone modification and non-coding RNA (ncRNA)-associated gene silencing, but these are not the only methods of gene alteration.
However, the founder of the Heart Math Institute, Doc Childre offers his own theory of how DNA is altered. It encapsulates the same understanding of DNA programming that Johanna Bassols received in a spiritual transmission—that the heart must become involved.
Childre postulated that “an energetic connection or coupling of information” occurs between the DNA in cells and higher dimensional structures – the higher self or spirit.
Childre further explained, “The heart serves as a key access point through which information originating in the higher dimensional structures is coupled into the physical human system (including DNA), and that states of heart coherence generated through experiencing heartfelt positive emotions increase this coupling.”
The heart, which generates a much stronger electromagnetic field than the brain’s, provides the energetic field that binds together the higher dimensional structures and the body’s many physical (and etheric) systems as well as its DNA.
Childre’s theory of heart intelligence proposes that “individuals who are able to maintain states of heart coherence have increased coupling to the higher dimensional structures and would thus be more able to produce changes in the DNA.”
This is further evidenced in the heart’s own electrical activity. It is estimated that the heart’s endogenous electromagnetic field is as much as 100 times greater than that of the human brain.
Every mammal reacts to the influence of EMFs. On the cellular level, cell membranes, mitochondria and nuclei are the most sensitive. Effects of EMFs depend on many factors, such as age – children and older people are more reactive, for example, but everyone is affected.
Your DNA is affected directly by this electromagnetic communication field created by an interaction between yourself and the Quantum Field, or Infinite Intelligence – and is transmuted through the heart!
This is one reason why clearing your thoughts of negativity, eating less processed food, animal products, and finding a quiet place to meditate all help to alter your DNA – these practices allow the energetics of the heart, which are in direct communication with the Quantum Field at all times – to transmit its healing energy. This healing energy is nothing more than a blueprint for the highest level of organization – the opposite of entropy, which causes death, disease, and depression.
Unconditional love – derived from learned or programmed heart consciousness, allows things which are seemingly disparate and destructive, to come together in harmony. This process happens when we meditate. We go inside ourselves and learn how to confront the disharmonious ordering our own thoughts and perceptions. As we re-organize those perceptions into a more cohesive, less chaotic state, we experience a greater ability to empathize with others, forgive, live in harmony with nature, experience spiritual bliss, become free from bodily sickness, etc.
There is evidence of this incredible phenomenon in a 1993 study of the Maharishi Effect. 4000 practitioners of transcendental meditation meditated on peace, and lowered the crime rate in their area by 23 percent.
Just imagine that amount of change you can affect in your own DNA with consistent quantum-level healing from coherent heart-brain functioning – all facilitated through your own choices, but altered at the level of Quantum Intelligence!
The Soul Reprogramming Method is a metaphysics healing technique based on the premise that anything material (as we perceive it) was originated from a non physical form. This form is directly communicating with the heart. As we purify our heart’s electromagnetic resonance, we can change not only ourselves but the World we live in. DNA is just the beginning.

Very few are willing to talk openly about the true nature of the control system sinking its teeth into planet earth. The story goes far beyond just some greedy executives turning profits by raping the planet and waging endless wars. There is something much darker happening here, and your awareness and personal transformation has never been more important than right now.
It’s not the puppet presidents, or the here-today-gone-today members of congress and parliament, and it’s not the big shots who sit around at the United Nations. There is something else out there and when you look at deep field images from NASA, it’s hard to image that we’re alone in this universe.
In an excerpt from one os his all-day talks, David Icke asks, ‘who or what is ultimately behind all this?’Icke has been speaking of these forces for many years, unafraid to discuss the ancient origins of the Archon and Reptilian forces influencing humans on earth.
“The idea that we just operate in isolation of everything else is, for me, crazy. This reality that we are experiencing has been hijacked by a force that some ancient people called Archons, but, there’s different names right across the ancient world, for the same force, the same entities.” ~David Icke

They are calling this the worst flu season in 13 plus years and hospitals around the country are reportedly overloaded. At the same time, this year’s flu vaccine is said to be only 10-30% effective, depending on who you ask, and, right about half of American adults get flu shots, and around 60% of children take the annual jab.
There is international hysteria about the flu at the moment, and major news sources are reporting that more strains are the way, as the death toll rises.
If there’s one thing media is good at, it’s creating hysteria.
Investigative journalist Jon Rappoport asks some important questions about this year’s flu season. Firstly, how do we know that people with the set of symptoms we’re calling flu, really have an influenza virus in their body? Next, is the media hype surrounding the flu more of a PR campaign than a legitimate public health warning?
“…when health officials begin waving red flags and raising alarms about a current viral flu outbreak, it would be more than reasonable to demand they answer questions about their past lies and deceptions.” ~Jon Rappoport
Unless you’re totally committed to the flu hysteria, it makes s lot of sense to question the flu vaccine narrative.
Which is apparently how President Trump feels.
In a 2015 interview with Sirius XM’s Opie and Jim Norton, Donald Trump was asked if gets a flu shot. His response was informed by a common experience: noticing that many people who get the flu shot come down with the flu.
In other words, many people get the flu after getting the flu shot. How they factor this reality into the statistics at the CDC is unknown, but in the worst flu season in recent memory, with half the people getting the shot, you have to wonder if the shot isn’t partly to blame for the high levels of sick people.
“I’ve never had one. And thus far I’ve never had the flu. I don’t like the idea of injecting bad stuff into your body. And that’s basically what they do. And this one (latest flu vaccine) has not been very effective to start off with.
I have friends that religiously get the flu shot and then they get the flu. You know, that helps my thinking. I’ve seen a lot of reports that the last flu shot is virtually totally ineffective.” ~President Trump
Here’s the radio segment with Trump’s complete comments:
The Quantum Physics of Consciousness
In philosophical debate, particularly in the philosophy of mind, the question of how mind and consciousness arise out of our matter, or more specifically, out of the physical neurological processes in our brains, has been a long-standing one and it has baffled scientists and philosophers alike. When we speak or think of mind, it seems natural to suppose that it is directly linked to our brain and our conscious thinking, including other cognitive functions. Even if, from our direct experience and observation, there is no direct evidence or clue that could lead us to unambiguously understand what mind is, we do collectively intuit that mind is a phenomenon that is deeply interrelated to our brain activity, and yet it is something more. But what is this ‘something’ more? This question alone has historically spurred some interesting theories of mind, together with various philosophical standpoints and debates.
The most common take on the nature of mind in modern Western thought is that mind is the same thing as brain activity and hence the question of ‘what is this something more?’ does not arise. This materialistic position on mind was born out of the classical scientific view and its influence on modern thought. It is called materialist because it assumes that mind is nothing more than matter. The philosophical idea coming out of this materialistic view is a reductionistic one, meaning that it assumes that phenomena such as mind and consciousness can be explained by reducing them to the physical and chemical processes occurring in the neurology of our brains. It is literally a flattened view of the world, since it reduces all phenomena to the dimension of matter, time and space, which are considered primary, according to this view.
The Mind-Body Problem
The mainstream scientific position has led itself into a brick wall when it comes to understanding the phenomenon of consciousness. Philosopher of mind, David Chalmers, refers to this as the hard problem of consciousness, which is basically the problem of explaining subjective mental states of consciousness objectively in terms of physical processes, as required by the strict view of science. In simple words, how do we explain a particular feeling we have when we think of chocolate, in terms of neurons firing in our brain?
Other positions that do not subscribe to this reductionist view of mind, however, tend to face another problem–the problem of dualism. Basically, if we are to consider the mind as being separate from the brain, then this once again begs the question “What is mind?” and more specifically, “What is the relationship between the physical brain and mind?” The former is an ontological question asking about the nature of mind, while the latter is an epistemic one, which tries to understand the cause and effect relationship between brain and mind and how information and knowledge passes from one to the other, seeing that they are two different things.
The assumption that mind is different from the brain, such as–for example–that mind is non-material whereas the brain is material, gives rise to the so-called mind-body problem, first addressed by French philosopher René Descartes, who said that the mind and the body are two different substances. Bodies are extended in space, incapable of feeling or thought, whereas minds are unextended, thinking and feeling substances. Because they are two different substances, belonging to the material and non-material, and because there is no observable point of interaction between the two, then we cannot explain a causal relationship between the two. If we cannot come up with a causal explanation, for example, of how our internal mental states and beliefs give rise to behaviour, then some would argue that talking of mind would be superfluous.
Mind as Software and Emergent Effects
Despite this seemingly problematic position of the mind and brain co-existing in some form of relationship, the idea lived on in other theories and metaphors. One of the most popular metaphors, in fact, is borrowed from the computer sciences and which sees the mind as analogous to a software that runs on top of a hardware (or wetware)–the brain. This model has served particularly well in psychology and the cognitive sciences, where the non-material aspect of mind is seen as the software program and the material aspect of the brain is seen as the underlying hardware.
Another interesting position considers the mind as an emergent phenomena, resulting from the complex interactions of the neural processes in the brain. This theoretical position is a non-reductionistic one while at the same time it circumvents the mind-body problem because although mind is still considered as something other than the brain, the cause and effect link between the two can be explained in terms of emergent effects. The problem with this view, however, is that it still considers matter (the brain) to be primary and mind and consciousness as something that emerges out of matter, rather than being a fundamental aspect of the universe, such as time and space are.
The Mind as a Higher Dimensional Field
As science and research continues, new theories of mind arise which could shed more light on some of the philosophical questions mentioned above. One of the latest ideas to come out from the academia is one which sees the mind as a field existing in a different dimension than the brain, and which interacts with it on a quantum level. Dr. Dirk K.F. Meijer, a professor at the University of Groningen, published a paper positing his idea in the peer-reviewed scientific journal NeuroQuantology, an academic journal that brings together research from the fields of neuroscience and quantum physics.
Meijer suggests that the mind is basically a field, or more technically, ‘a holographically structured field’ that acts as a ‘receptive mental workspace’ in that it exists around the brain but at the same time, is able to access other fields outside of it. This field, Meijer suggests, resides in a fourth spatial dimension, a higher dimensional space than the one the brain is embedded in (3D). It is also worth noting that parallel research, such as in the blue brain project–an interdisciplinary collaboration between mathematician and neuroscientists–have identified that the ‘brain’ works in multiple dimensions.
The question then is how does the mind, as a fourth dimensional field, interact with the 3d brain processes? Although we do not yet understand the specific mechanisms underlying the mind-brain communication, Meijer lends on quantum physics to suggest possible contenders. Two possibilities are through what is called quantum entanglement and quantum tunneling; two of the most perplexing and mysterious phenomena observed in the quantum world. In simple words, entanglement is the observed phenomenon that two particles are ‘synced’ together in a way that one effects the other instantaneously, despite being separated by immense distances, say for example, on opposite ends of a galaxy. This phenomenon has baffled scientists for years, including Einstein himself who termed it ‘spooky action at a distance.’ Quantum tunneling can be best explained by analogy to a macro world object. Imagine you throw a tennis ball against a wall. Naturally we expect the ball to stop its motion once it hits the wall and bounce back in the opposite direction. Strangely enough, in a quantum tunneling parallel, the ball passes through the wall and is observed to keep its motion and momentum in the other adjacent room. Strange stuff indeed.
Yet Meijer thinks that although entanglement and tunneling are possible explanations to how the mind field and brain rapidly pass on information to each other, the most probable mechanism at work is quantum wave resonance. This means that at the very quantum and sub-quantum levels there is a wave pattern underlying all the neurons and particles in the brain and which also passes through the mind field. Changes in the mind field resonate with the neurons in the brain instantaneously and vice versa.
Faster than the Speed of Thought
The quantum wave resonance model of brain and mind field communication can be a very clever answer to what is called ‘the binding problem.’ Different neural regions and clusters in our brain are responsible for different cognitive functions, say for example, vision, colour, sound or verbal processing. Yet these different signals from different regions in our brain come together collectively faster than the speed at which they are processed individually, hence giving rise to an observed anomaly known as the binding problem. Now, this is relevant here because it seems that the binding problem arises when we scratch our heads and try to figure out what is happening from just one layer of reality–say from the neural activity of our brain.
On the other hand, when we start to view the brain and mind as being multidimensional manifestations of the same thing and which communicate information at the quantum level through resonance, a better, wider picture starts forming that explains apparent anomalies, such as the binding problem. This also gives more credence to the fact that a flattened and reductionistic view of reality does not work at all. We need a richer, broader and possibly a multi-dimensional view of consciousness and reality. This brings me to the next interesting point about the field theory of mind.
Mind is Universe
The discussion about mind as a field ultimately goes beyond entertaining the possibility of answering longstanding philosophical questions. It opens a door of exciting new possibilities that give us a completely new way of understanding the phenomenon. In a way, it is the classical conundrum of answering one question and opening up another hundred, but this is what is special about growth in knowledge.
The real pearl inside the oyster of this theory is that mind is not individual or exclusive to us humans, as we have always assumed. A very short way of saying it is that mind is universe and that everything is mind. As the first principle of the hermetic philosophy goes: ‘All is Mind.’ So one of the things that science might have got fundamentally wrong, and which David Chalmers refers to as “the hard problem of consciousness,” is that it did not assume that consciousness and mind are fundamentally part of everything that is. Consciousness is primary; even relative to matter. This starts to converge with ancient knowledge or modern panpsychism, which hold that everything is imbued with consciousness. Matter arises out of consciousness and not vice versa.
But what does this have to do with Meijer’s theory of mind as a field? Well for one, Meijer holds that the fourth dimensional field of mind is a torus shape which we are now understanding is found everywhere in the universe. Secondly, fields are all interconnectedwith each other via quantum phenomena such as resonance, entanglement and tunneling. This might explain what we consider as psychic or extra sensorial phenomena such as precognition, clairvoyance, remote viewing or telepathy.
Meijer, in fact, sees consciousness as a boundary condition that exists between the internal information of the brain and everything else outside of it, which he refers to as the ‘universal information matrix.’ From this point of view, consciousness is similar to a phenomena observed in black holes, called an ‘event horizon.’ When light or matter approach a black hole they do not disappear but their information is projected on its boundary. That boundary is what separates the black hole from everything else, and he uses this as an analogy to explain what consciousness could be from his research and insights.
So the bottom line of this thought-provoking and pivotal research is this: Your brain is a quantum tuner that resonates with a field called mind. That mind field is connected to many other fields and this might explain transpersonal and psychic experiences we could not previously explain through mainstream science.

Cannabis legalization proponents have argued for years that the cannabis plant offers numerous medical applications. Now, the World Health Organization (WHO) has finally joined the bandwagon. The agency issued an official report declaring Cannabidiol, or CBD, a compound found in cannabis, to be a safe and effective medicine.
CBD Cannabis Compound
CBD is one of over 100 cannabinoid compounds in cannabis that give the plant its medicinal properties. This particular cannabinoid stands out because it is both non-psychoactive and displays a broad range of potential medical applications.
Here’s what the pharmaceutical industry has to say about CBD:
“CBD, the second major cannabinoid in marijuana after THC, has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, but no psychoactive effects. However, recent research shows that CBD can be an effective treatment for many kinds of pain. Inflammatory pain has been treated effectively with CBD as well and some studies have shown that CBD may be more effective at treating inflammatory pain than traditional medication.” (source)
WHO’s Declarations on CBD
The United Nations and the WHO have spent a good part of 2017 seeking information about CBD, and how it should designate it under the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances. As a result of its research, the WHO has issued a report that makes some very important statements:
In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential.
CBD has been demonstrated as an effective treatment of epilepsy in several clinical trials…
There is also preliminary evidence that CBD may be a useful treatment for a number of other medical conditions.
CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile.
To date, there is no evidence of recreational use of CBD or any public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.
Law Continues to Lag Behind Medical Research
Sadly, antiquated laws in regards to drug enforcement continue to classify cannabis as a dangerous drug in many countries. In the U.S., the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency has gone as far as to create a new classification of schedule I drugs for cannabis extracts in an attempt to stop the sale and consumption of CBD oil. As of mid-2017, the DEA continues to believe the following about CBD oil:
Because this extract is a derivative of marijuana, it falls within the definition of marijuana under federal law. Accordingly, it is a Schedule I controlled substance under the CSA. (source)
Research continues to mount evidence regarding the powerful therapeutic properties of cannabis. The cannabis plant seems to fill the gap in treating a number of illnesses for which mainstream treatments remain unsatisfactory. Hopefully, the WHO announcement helps thousands seeking alternative treatment to existing pharmaceuticals to obtain CBD medicine without legal repercussions.

There are many definitions of “sovereign” floating around on the web. Some view it as a title of nobility for a monarch, such as a king or a queen. Others contend that we’re sovereign by default: we simply must claim it and that’s it. According to yet many others, sovereignty seems to mean that one can do whatever one wants at any time; that rules and the law don’t apply to them; that all forms of hierarchy are somehow unjustified and evil, and that any system of justice or law, or government is also inherently evil.
So what is the correct definition? Please allow me to guide you into a comprehension of the concept, first by way of showing you what sovereignty is not, so that you can come to better understand what it really is. This is vitally important because ultimately, you, yes you, have a role to play in restoring the rule of law by becoming a true sovereign.
The word sovereignty indeed means many things to many people. And there are certainly more than enough folks out there willing to claim themselves as “sovereign” for any number of well-intentioned reasons. For example, some people, usually following a legal/law guru, understandably, want to get out of a problematic legal situation by transcending it through claimed “sovereign” status; others feel that the world owes them a high-ranking position at law simply because they exist. But without the competence to support your claim, it is null and void, even if it was made to the Secretary of State or via the UCC. And the powers that be encourage these fallacious actions because it gives their claims to power more weight.
In such cases, these false sovereigns muddy the waters for the people, confusing those trying to understand what sovereignty really is and how it can benefit humankind. What’s worse, the powers that be use encourage incorrect and misguided claims of sovereignty so they can paint all would-be freedom lovers as irresponsible fools with antisocial tendencies. Consider this statement from the Southern Poverty Law Center regarding sovereign citizens.
The strange subculture of the sovereign citizens movement, whose adherents hold truly bizarre, complex antigovernment beliefs, has been growing at a fast pace since the late 2000s. Sovereigns believe that they — not judges, juries, law enforcement or elected officials — get to decide which laws to obey and which to ignore, and they don’t think they should have to pay taxes. Sovereigns are clogging up the courts with indecipherable filings and when cornered, many of them lash out in rage, frustration and, in the most extreme cases, acts of deadly violence, usually directed against government officials. In May 2010, for example, a father-son team of sovereigns murdered two police officers with an assault rifle when they were pulled over on the interstate while traveling through West Memphis, Ark. (source)
As if the issue of asserting our freedoms in a lawful manner wasn’t complicated enough, half-cocked “sovereigns,” often led by false sovereignty guru’s online, make anyone declaring their lawful rights seem crazy. Freedom is quickly being rebranded by the powers that be, via various social engineering programs, as nothing more than a childish desire by a rabble of irresponsible people who want to ignore laws and do whatever they want. But to those who understand what true sovereignty is, nothing could be further from the truth.
So for the sake of the freedom of all people and the great work of our age to regain our truly sovereign status in law and society, a discussion about what a true sovereign is will be most helpful.
You might be wondering: “Well aren’t you claiming to be a guru by telling us what a sovereign is or is not? Where does your definition of sovereignty come from, and why should we believe you?”
Let me say, you shouldn’t believe me, not blindly. I’m not asking you to believe me because I am an authority in law, I’m asking you to think about what I am saying, and draw your own conclusions. If my knowledge is accurate, it should be obvious to those who take the time to verify via their own research. And if it isn’t accurate (which is certainly possible) please share as much so as a community we can have the best information possible. These aren’t the words of a false guru who wants blind obedience.
Where Does This Information Come From?
As a fellow truth-seeker and freedom-lover, I have spent a great deal of time and energy reviewing the law, sources of lawful research (such as official and alternative sources of history and philosophy in the freedom movement) as well as thinking carefully and honestly about everything I’ve uncovered. In other words, my knowledge doesn’t come from an external authority, it was built from within, as a result of careful study and discernment.
I will present my findings in a simple fashion, but I don’t want you to blindly accept what is offered. I encourage you to think carefully about the arguments presented herein, and of course, to do your own research. If you think you have a better argument, then please share it in the comments. In law, like in science, the best theory or argument is accepted as fact (for the time being), not a person with a bigger stick or certificate of authority. In this sense, we’re all in the pursuit of the knowledge of sovereignty together.
Let’s cut to the chase--a sovereign is, first a custodian of the truth, the law, and the rights of others in the realm. Unless you live an honorable and solution-oriented life for your world, you cannot describe yourself as sovereign. And we’ll elaborate on this statement in great detail below.
Now, I apologize to everyone I’m about to offend, but the following needs to be said: merely existing does not make you sovereign in law.
I can assure readers that the last thing a sovereign does is proclaim him or herself “sovereign” without having first earned the title through diligence, discipline, the pursuit of a comprehensively moral and constructive existence. That said, it should also be understood that we each have the potential to be sovereign if we’re willing to do the work it takes to master ourselves and act within that mastery to benefit others.
So let me be clear that this article is written in response to the widespread misuse of the word and concept of “sovereignty” within the truth movement.
The legal concept of sovereignty is a separate matter that this article does not discuss in detail—though everything herein is important to know for those looking for “legal” remedies. The misuse of the concept of “sovereignty” in legal matters almost always causes one more harm than good, as will be detailed below.
As an aside, it also needs to be said, in no uncertain terms, that the contents of this article should not be construed as “legal advice.” No—instead, this is about research, education, and empowering ourselves, which is altogether different from offering legal advice. This is my own personal take on the matter, based on years and years worth of research, contemplation, and nothing more.
Problems Assertin Sovereignty in Legal Matters
The reason why asserting sovereignty in a legal matter is problematic is primarily because the existing legal system is essentially an elaborate fraud that has co-opted valid lawful ideas, like sovereignty—preventing the people from using these good ideas to their advantage. Those in the legal system, such as lawyers, judges, and clerks, generally aren’t taught about true law; therefore, asserting your sovereign status to the system often results in more confusion and even greater prosecution.
Given that there is no rule of law, it is still essential to take the time to learn what real sovereignty is and how it can be used to improve your life.
Again, I can’t explain the whole legal and lawful situation in this article, but suffice it to say, the world needs real sovereigns—those who take the time to learn the law, act with honor, harmlessness, and in defense of the rights of others--so that the rule of law and true justice can finally be restored to our darkened world.
I know for a fact that many people who follow online truth/sovereignty gurus are mostly good people.
Unfortunately, I also know for a fact that a great many “law or freeman” movements out there are fraudulent, dangerous and promote false and/or incomplete information to many thousands of desperate people.
Indeed, one of the most destructive false-narratives promoted by these groups is the idea that you’re “sovereign” because you exist—that somehow, merely being born has imparted some magical esoteric, vaguely defined “right” to wield incredible decision-making power over the law and society in which you live. Some have even suggested that such lunacy is “the secret” to knowing how to deal with the legal system.
But as will be revealed, sovereignty is a status attained by hard work and dedication, not unlike the mastering of any other skill such as music, art, science, philosophy, or farming. If it isn’t reasonable to expect you can be a master blacksmith because you said so, then it should be easy to understand why sovereignty isn’t a frivolous label.
The purpose of this article is to provide a counter-narrative designed to undo the above psy-op—which is the belief that we can get out of legal trouble by saying the words “I am sovereign” in court. Again, this is not a legal discussion nor is it legal advice.
A suggestion I’d like to offer is to be extremely skeptical regarding the far-fetched promises sold to you by internet gurus. Please, please, please recognize that there is no simple way to convey detailed “legal know-how” in bite-sized chunks without comprehensive study to go with said chunks. Nor are there any silver bullets that will solve any and all of our problems with one fell swoop. There is no sense in jumping off “legal cliffs” because a charismatic online figure said that it would work; and I know firsthand, having been duped by such con artists in the past myself.
The Historical Misuse of Sovereignty
What should be clear at this stage is that a true sovereign is the very best among us, one who has knowledge and wisdom, using that power for the benefit of all. A true sovereign recognizes that the people are not their subjects, they are equals in sovereign potential. And that it is the duty of that true sovereign to slowly and carefully educate the people so they can one day be sovereigns in their own right. Keeping this in mind, we’ll now briefly examine contemporary governments with the aim of demonstrating that they too misuse the term.
From a social point of view, it could be superficially believed that a “sovereign” is one who influences a society or civilization via a claim of authority—someone who wields power that can be used to direct large groups of people. Usually, such “sovereigns” use genealogies to assert they have a “divine right to rule” by tracing their lineage to some historical figure, like Jesus, Mohammad, David, and so on. But this is not a sufficient definition of what makes a true sovereign, as birthright might make someone an influential by virtue of culture, but sovereignty status is only valid by virtue of what they do with said influence—namely, acting with honor to defend the rights of all people. A true sovereign is the embodiment of true law, justice, fairness, morality, and ethics—leading the people into greater states of freedom by their example.
When you ask the average person to cite examples of a sovereign they might answer: the Queen of England or King of Morocco—actual monarchs. But these so-called figures are more akin to tyrants than true sovereigns, mainly because they abuse their influence and promote ignorance in the people to maintain their power; they do not embody true law.
From an international law perspective, nations are considered sovereign because they oversee the affairs of a people, maintain records (registers) and provide a venue for justice (courts and congress). But again, the same logic applies here because every nation on earth also seeks to oppress the freedoms of their people—in one form or another—which is the antithesis of what a true sovereign does.
Side note: almost every nation on earth is a registered corporation that draws its legal authority from the Roman Curia, the ecclesiastical laws of the Holy See or Vatican. Recall that the Vatican claimed that all people are completely incapable of using their rights, and as such, “salvaged” these rights and placed them in express trusts, which later became the basis of modern day governmental structures. Given that your average person doesn’t have a clue about the law or how to manage their rights in honor, this is sadly a fairly valid claim. How can we use something responsibly when we don’t know it exists? This means that all nations trace their legal authority back to the Vatican, and as such, all nations also presume the people are insane, irresponsible, dead things with no rights—no better than cattle. This is one reason why our inalienable rights under natural law become statutory privileges within any legal system. And this also underscores why gaining competence via knowledge in law is of prime importance. Without knowledge of law and the wisdom to use your rights in trust and honor, any claim of sovereignty is only an empty gesture—and the powers that be know it.
Given the conduct of monarchies and so-called sovereign nations, it should be clear to you that even within well established legal circles, the term sovereignty has been watered down. The fact is the knowledge of what a true sovereign is may be one of the biggest secrets on earth. As you will discover, this is because if people took developing their sovereignty seriously, the powers that be would be rendered obsolete in short order.
So what makes a true sovereign?
As was mentioned briefly above, a sovereign is one who conducts all their affairs with honor, in trust, and without harm—whether with a fellow sovereign or a nefarious party, like a tyrannical government. They have spent time learning as much as they can, especially about how to maintain honest, supportive, and trustworthy relationships with others and the environment—embodying true law. And finally, a sovereign uses their knowledge in a moral and ethical fashion for the benefit of others.
The truth is a sovereign’s guide and they strive to honor it with every fiber of their being.
A Sovereign proactively seeks solutions to problems in his or her “kingdom”— who always comes up with a solution or at least a plan for acquiring a solution when a problem befalls their sphere. They are optimistic, not cynical. They recognize that any situation can be made better with dedication to the truth, wise planning, and honorable cooperation.
A Sovereign attains such status only through the voluntary adoption of massive responsibility on their part, in the development of self-mastery for the state of their “kingdom.” One must get their own affairs in order to the extent that one can lend time, energy and attention beyond the upkeep of their life and house. And although one need not be omniscient, one must be at least be comprehensively aware of the nature and origin of societal breakdown, and one must be diligent and methodical in attending to societal repair. The life of a sovereign is a life of complete and unwavering service to ALL.
How Can We Become Sovereign?
Again, there is no “silver-bullet recipe” of paperwork, magic ritual, or god-like snap of the fingers that makes someone sovereign--who hasn’t already qualified themselves beforehand via dedication.
In essence, when you take responsibility, in all ways that you reasonably can, you’re on the road to sovereignty. Without accepting complete responsibility and liability for your actions, there is no sovereignty. Once you make that choice, life becomes a school and you become a detective—you’re constantly seeking to realize the ideals and principals of sovereignty, reflecting on your experience to see how you can improve and further your mastery. In this sense, sovereignty is a philosophy of life (a philosophy of personal excellence and social benevolence) just as much as it is a fancy title that affords one legal or lawful powers.
Sovereign ideals are important to understand because they help guide our behavior and motivations. Without a clear definition of sovereignty in mind—without a destination and a map to get there—we can’t change ourselves over time to become more sovereign.
This is mainly because sovereignty is a “razor’s edge” path or a high and lofty goal, requiring incredible dedication—not unlike mastering painting or the piano. This is made evident by the stringent qualifications needed of one who seeks it. Similarly, playing a piece of music requires precision and skill, where one mistake can ruin a whole composition. In the same way, sovereignty requires vigilant dedication, as one infraction or mistake can cause a dishonor that can only be restored by an act of restitution. A benevolent king, queen, or ruler can tarnish their entire legacy by a single act of tyranny.
Attributes and Traits of Sovereigns
As you read the following incomplete list of character traits of a sovereign, it will likely become clear that spiritual masters throughout history are, for the most part, the meta-model or blueprint for the sovereign individual. Hence, many governments attempt to trace their right to rule to a spiritual figure, like all Christian nations. Virtues are also a good example of the characteristics of a sovereign, although certain lists are not perfect.
In summary, a sovereign has sacrificed their personal time in the moment for the purpose of gaining knowledge and wisdom so they can be the best they can be in any situation.
They honestly seek to help others through the application of the truth (wisdom), and as such, sovereigns gain more knowledge over time.
They dedicate themselves to self-mastery (gaining competence) through work, self-reflection, and self-discipline (building wisdom), qualifying them to help others to do the same.
And most importantly, a sovereign takes a “vow of poverty” or recognizes that wealth beyond what can be reasonably used is an offense to a progressively moral and benevolent society; a sovereign would never horde goods or refuse to offer services for selfish gain or aggrandizement. They really want to help others and dedicate their lives to that purpose, shedding egocentric desires so they can be impartial ministers to all life. They want the highest and best good for all.
All of the aforementioned qualities of sovereignty were discovered by researching the true foundations of law. And although it doesn’t appear this way on the surface, the legal system actually acknowledges these tenets and has built the hidden side of the legal system around them, namely the Trust/Canon/Ecclesiastical aspect of law.
This is one reason why the powers that be had to declare every man, woman, and child on earth an insane and irresponsible ward of the state because that presumption labels us incompetent—the antithesis of sovereignty. If we act that way, it proves their claim and gives them power. Hence, gaining a clear understanding of sovereignty is essential, so we can act as such and thereby dispel their presumption of our incompetence.
If one takes a moment to consider these qualities of character, it should be clear that a true sovereign is an ideal man or woman. And as was suggested earlier, various religious figures can embody these qualities, like Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, and so on. Whether or not these figures existed doesn’t matter—we can reflect on the stories like a child reflects on a fable, acquiring knowledge in the process.
On Authority and Social Cohesion
It is not the cleverness of this or that set of laws and rules alone that makes a coherent (or just) civilization; rather, it is the character of the people that make up said civilization, which determines the level of coherence (prosperity) or dissonance (hardship) it experiences.
Within this framework, a great challenge is placed at the feet of any who would call themselves “sovereign”: how does one operate a truly moral society? How does one acquire and wield power for the benefit of many? What makes an honorable and effective problem solver and leader?
I am not talking about coercion or ad-hoc, top-down forms of pseudo-authority when I use the word “sovereign” to describe benevolent governance. Consider that every nation on earth has a top-down power structure, where the state uses threats and fines to coerce the citizens into obedience—which can be understood by the fact nations presume citizens are incompetent. In contrast, the essence of sovereignty is to lead by demonstration of your competence in a given area of endeavor.
Think about it this way: if someone had played a musical instrument for decades of their life, would you not consider them a bona fide authority on how to play that instrument? Put another way: If you had the option of taking guitar lessons from a professionally trained musician or a random guy who has never played before, who would choose to be your teacher?
Obviously, authority, in this sense, rests with the one who is skilled—not the person who makes the biggest claims. To be even more precise it rests with the one who is skilled in educating others.
A music teacher doesn’t become a better authority in music because they use intimidation or threats of violence. Similarly, sovereigns have authority because they have real working knowledge (about many things) and can use it effectively and honorably.
When your knowledge, skillset, and ability to work with others becomes comprehensive enough to solve real-world problems—without hurting others in the process--that is the moment you step into true sovereignty.
The Irrevocable Link Between Rights and Responsibility
The connection between rights and responsibilities has become hazy over the years, likely because it’s easier to control people who can’t use their rights responsibly.
In law, when someone acts with dishonor, when they harm another and avoid justice, when they fail to use their rights responsibility, this is called incompetence, and it is the antithesis of sovereignty. The powers that be encourage us to act irresponsibly so they can support their claims of authority. In light of this, learning how to be truly sovereign is beneficial for yourself and the world.
The reality is, we cannot have rights without the responsibility. Consider when a group of “activists” take to the street to demand “rights” without the concept of responsibility entering into their discourse or lexicon--are such demands valid without also accepting the responsibility to use them well?
A right is the recognition of capacity—that we can do something—which is usually endorsed by another or society in some way. Generally speaking, valid or moral rights are actions that do not harm others, as well as actions that are the most beneficial for all involved.
For example, I benefit from the right to life, and so do others when I do things that they appreciate. The fruit of my labors is enjoyed by others. Another example is the right to free speech, which allows me the benefit of sharing my ideas and engaging with others. But I have to use this right without harming someone else. And this where responsibility comes in.
Responsibility means the ability, or more often the duty, to respond or take care of something—an obligation or debt. In this sense, responsibility is the negative side of the rights and responsibility coin, because we have to do something to restore balance if harm or damage occurs. For example, if we caused a car accident then we’re responsible for the damage—we have to do something to make things right.
When one person conveys or transfers rights to another, the person that receives the rights is responsible for using them per the instructions that were given, so long as those instructions are lawful. For example, if you lend your friend a car, they are responsible for giving it back to you after the specified time has expired, and usually, we ask for it to be returned undamaged. The positive benefit of using the car (the right of use) is balanced by the negative responsibility (obligation) of using it properly.
You may think that you have “unlimited” access to the vehicle that is your mind and body, but if you use these things in such a way that results in undue harm upon others, then they have the right to restrain you. In summation: if you are not willing to approach life in a virtuous, sane, and constructive manner, then others have the right to subdue you—forcefully, if necessary—when your behavior runs the risk of harming innocent bystanders.
This might sound harsh, but it’s essential to understand for those seeking true sovereignty. And it also underscores a key theme: a true sovereign upholds true law, effectively becoming a law enforcement officer, while also protecting the people from tyrannical persons and governments. In this sense, the more people who embody sovereignty the more just, fair, and prosperous our world becomes.
Defenders of Life, Law, and the Realm
The ability to take actions in the world means that what we do will affect others in some way—our responsibility is to ensure these effects will be as beneficial as possible.
If we can’t use these powers harmlessly, then a sovereign (a defender of the law and the realm) will take steps to prevent us from harming others. In this sense, one who polices themselves is a true sovereign, recognizing that freedom can’t exist harmoniously without responsibility. In a world populated by sovereigns, everyone is their “brother’s (and sister’s) keeper”—everyone defends the truth, justice, and the rights of others.
A Sovereign not only operates with good intentions but is also required to be diligent, rational, and methodical in their role as custodian. One who wishes to feed the world but has no knowledge about the underlying causes of poverty and hunger cannot easily achieve their goal. Therefore, the onus is on the sovereign is to constantly learn and improve their knowledge and skill sets so that they can benefit the world around them.
Can you describe the true causes of poverty? Do you know how social structures are built and broken, truly? Can you diagnose the causes of hunger in your community, and are you willing to address them methodically and empirically? Only if you can answer those questions in the positive, with a coherent argument and evidence, can you begin to imagine yourself as “sovereign” because working knowledge is required to avoid making things worse.
If you’re thinking “I just ‘go within’ and let my heart tell me the answer and let the details take care of themselves” then this is certainly a good start, but you need more. It isn’t enough to rely on intuition alone because it can be manipulated. Such insights need to be cross-checked against reality, using a logical, empirical process whenever possible.
How do you know this heartfelt action won’t cause harm? How do you know for certain that your emotions aren’t being manipulated via social engineering and electromagnetic influencing technology? Without conscious analysis and critical thought, any emotionally charged choice is basically blind faith that you know what you’re doing. But a sovereign goes beyond simple emotional resonance and blind faith, they seek the truth and ask hard questions so as to support their ideas with key knowledge and understanding—holistic consciousness. A sovereign wants to know, in detail, what the problem is, who is affected, how to solve it and what needs to be done without harming anyone else—all of which requires dedication, investigation, and persistence—not blind faith in your heart.
You need to be comprehensive, accurate and specific with your knowledge (because that’s what responsibility requires).
It is also very important that you know how to communicate with a wide variety of people—not just those who have been nurtured in the same cultural echo-chamber as you have. It is all too easy for well-intentioned people to set aside the hard work of personal due diligence for easy groupthink answers and ideologies. We need only look at the divide and conquer mayhem sweeping the planet, as well-intentioned people are recruited into quasi-terrorist organizations like Antifa, which justifies all manner of violence in the name of “social justice.”
It was said of Neo, at the end of The Matrix Trilogy that he would fight for the benefit of the world and of all people, not new agers, not conservatives, not liberals, not truthers, but all, period, “to the very last breath.” Ultimately, this is that attitude you must adopt if you are going to apply the label of “sovereign” to yourself.
You Have a Right to Learn and Grow—Being Sovereign is Hard, and There’s No Shame In Having a Lot to Learn
If you couldn’t answer the above questions then don’t sweat it—the whole point of this article is to help you see that the word sovereign has profound and, some could say, dire implications. Not everyone is going to be able to achieve all of the above, and that is completely okay.
Sovereignty is not some quick and easy thing to accomplish in a single afternoon, like earning a metal in a video game. It’s also not something we mindlessly suffer through, thinking we’ll earn our status even if we haven’t learned anything in the end. It is a lifelong pursuit, measured by definitive markers of progress, with ever-expanding and increasing degrees of competence, skill, and benevolent power. It might take you years to make one step forward, or it could take days—but it’s not a race. Don’t look around you to measure your progress against the achievements of others—it is a decidedly self-focused work. The sooner you start the better but don’t beat yourself up if you only make small leaps forward after long times of struggle.
You should never feel bad if you have a lot to do and learn, because, among other things, the act of learning itself is one of the greatest joys there is, and you have a right to experience that joy to the fullest no matter what “stage” of growth you may be going through.
Living the life of a sovereign is very hard—especially in a world where dishonesty, malevolence, and coercion are endemic. No one has the right to prejudge you for not living up to such high standards.
Indeed, one of the central tragedies of our modern world is the fact that accurate knowledge and competence have been deliberately robbed from generations of men and women by a parasitic banking-government-prison-complex—effectively orphaning humanity from the wisdom of its forebears. Our challenges are proportionately greater to the extent that the truth has been hidden from us—yet this does not negate the necessity for finding the truth and living in accordance with it.
Nonetheless, every little bit of healing and repair counts, and that which has been forgotten can be remembered. We do not need “sovereign status” to contribute vitally to the upliftment of ourselves and our world—and yet, the more we learn, grow and share with others, the more we mutually enable each other to achieve sovereignty, as it has been described herein.
Again, this is not a race—you do not need to become “sovereign” to be a good person or to be happy. Just please, for the sake of clear communication, so as to not muddy the waters—don’t misuse the word if you’re not prepared to lead a life of intense dedication and egoic sacrifice for the benefit of ALL.
As was said in the beginning, this article is specifically meant to undo the toxic notion that sovereignty can be treated like a conceptual free-for-all, because such a notion does not help our world heal but rather appears to give license for all sorts of self-aggrandizement. Tragically, and most pertinently, it often tricks well-intentioned individuals into behaving in ways that get them into trouble with the law and with society, not to mention giving another reason for the unaware masses to think people in the truth movement are crazy. And finally, our inability to be responsible, sane, rational and compassionate people provides support for claims of authority on the part of the powers that be.
To many out there, sovereignty means a free pass to do whatever they want. But as was just described, the true meaning of sovereignty is much deeper, more important and sacred.
The true concept of a sovereign is the ultimate world healing guide for all those who love truth, freedom, justice, and prosperity. Is it any wonder, then, why the term has been marginalized and diluted? If even 1% of the population adopted a truly sovereign way of life, arguably the world would change for the better very quickly.
With one sovereign, a man or woman can somewhat protect themselves from oppression. With ten sovereigns, a growing micro-community of wealth and benevolence can be created. With one hundred sovereigns, slow and steady work to restore law and order can begin. With one thousand sovereigns, criminal governments can be held back from doing as much harm as they have in the past. And with one million sovereigns and a culture of sovereignty, we can restore the rule of law, create prosperity for ourselves and the future, and ensure the insidious powers that be never again enslave the people.
We are all in this together. So let’s join forces to heal the planet.
By knowing the hard-core demands that befall the one who calls themselves sovereign, you’ll be able to see through the lies promulgated by fake “sovereignty” gurus—specifically those who would try to convince you that you’re already “sovereign” by virtue of the fact that you are alive and can spell the word in a document or two.
No amount of UCC1 Financing Statements, notices to the Secretary of State, or claiming of one’s birth certificate will make you sovereign—if you aren’t truly embodying the above-mentioned qualities. Even more, by having respect for the concept you are that much more empowered to both recognize and embody it.
So please, the next time someone tells you that you are “sovereign” merely because you exist, then ask them: what would you do if someone handed you a billion dollars?
If the person replies back “I’d get a nice yacht” or “I’d buy a futuristic car and giant house”, then you know you’re dealing with a sovereign in name only.
For a true sovereign, an appropriate answer is: “If I had a billion dollars I’d use it to settle my valid needs, while also starting massive restoration programs for the sake of healing our ecosystem and our society after having performed enough research to know for a fact—bypassing all personal prejudice and dogma—that said programs are viable. These programs would be as omni-comprehensive as possible, taking into account the full spectrum of human and planetary needs. Furthermore, they would be voluntarily adopted, managed in transparency and in trust, under administrative structures of necessary sufficiency to implement them.”
Any answer less than that is not worthy of a sovereign.
I hope you’ve gained an understanding of what true sovereignty is, and that you can start working toward this high goal right now.
Remember, you don’t need paperwork to be sovereign—paperwork is only a record of something that already exists in reality.
Ultimately, the nature of your character makes you sovereign. So for the sake of a better life for yourself, and a more just and prosperous world for others, take the time to gain competence, knowledge, and wisdom so that all your actions and pursuits are affected with honor, grace, and benevolence for all.

One fateful day, roughly a decade ago, I realized that I knew absolutely nothing about the world or myself and decided that this was unacceptable. I began amassing a pile of books on every subject I considered important to the world and to myself. A lot of people are writing and talking about spirit, higher self, personal enlightenment, shining health, transformation and the attainment of the Godly. A lot of people are following the words of those who proclaim knowledge of the above.
It is clear that many are searching for the security of a sound spiritual path to lead them through the material and mental chaos. Something that will bring with it a new awareness and sense of reality.
But this immediately raises the question: once having set off down this road – what will one do with the new-found power which comes with traveling it? This opening-up of a new dimension of personal awareness and inner freedom.
Will one be content to simply carry on with ‘life as usual’ basking in the sense of uplift generated by this elevated sense of being? Perhaps one will change one’s diet. Buy a purer toothpaste. Take a brisk run each morning. Get a better juicer. Practice regular yoga and positive thinking. Even maybe seek to move to the fresher air of the countryside?
These are the ‘life changing’ messages that emanate from ‘Enlightenment plc’: the glossy mind, body, spirit periodicals; the earnest conferences; the retreats and the copious on-line sites devoted to self-improvement. Nothing exactly wrong with any of these, of course, except that they mostly simply offer bolt-on ‘improvements’ to the existing status quo. More a kind of self enhancing escape route than a going forward to build something entirely different. Which, of course, is what is actually needed.
What is so evidently missing here, is instruction to the initiate todirect this new-found energy outwards – into actions that help transform the dire state of life and of people on this planet. We cannot escape this material dimension in which we find ourselves, but we can help to transform it, by bringing our newly acquired four-dimensional insights to bear on the largely static status quo.
To become aware, and therefore in a certain sense ‘to be free’, carries with it responsibility. A responsibility to help bring about a radical change (in society). A change informed by the bigger awareness achieved by our new-found consciousness. This is the pay-back we are bound to make. For having ‘seen the truth’ one cannot then hide from it. One cannot simply sit crossed-legged and dream of a better life.
Once blessed with a little enlightenment, we are in a position to recognize that inner personal development and outer actions for positive change – are two parts of one whole. Just as inhaling and exhaling are also two parts of one whole. Only when the two are united – and made one – can we truly express our God-given potential.
There is no spiritual ‘enlightenment’ without complementary grounded actions in which to pour our greater vision for the betterment of humanity. Such outward actions can also be termed ‘service to humanity’.
‘Enlightenment plc’ has tried to deceive us in this. Enlightenment plc says “No problem, you can escape from the material third dimension by seeking higher consciousness in the fourth dimension and leaving the problems of the world behind you. Pay your dues and tune in to us – and you will be healthy, happy, untainted by the greed, violence and destruction going on around you!” Yes, there is no doubt about it, the self-salvation road show is booming. Millions, who can afford to pay its fees, swear to its efficacy and personal rewards.
How tempting then, to jump in and turn one’s back on this deeply wounded world; leaving the 0.2% control freaks to carry on their take-over, unopposed and unnoticed.
How easy it is to leave the management of this jewel into which we were born and of which we are trustees – to those who are totally indifferent to its fate. Those whose only interest is money, power and control. Complete control over everything. Yes, it’s oh so tempting to evade our responsibilities as guardians of planet earth, and escape into this chimeric deception called ‘freedom’.
Real freedom is wholeness. And wholeness is the putting back together of that which has been made separate. The spiritual is all too often seen as disconnected from the physical and practical. And the practical and physical seen as separate from the spiritual. Separate entities. The powers of the spirit plane remain divorced, and even in opposition, to the powers of the material plane. Indeed, one is often considered superior to the other. As two halves, neither one is whole. Without integration, both remain only half of what they should be. Only half of what they are.
The maintaining of this division is the key trick played on us by our oppressors. It is the Ace card in their control pack. We need to recognize this and act on it.
There is a deeply disquieting mismatch between what aspirants get high on and the actual state of life on earth. The tens of thousands who diligently work on their asanas; who meditate daily; who keep only to the obligatory diets; who purify their drinking water and try to do the same to their souls. Supposedly ‘awakened ones’ who turn a blind eye on reality, choosing to remain ‘politically correct’ and aloof from the fray.
Such individuals strive to remain untouched by the contaminated world around them. Not daring to face the fact that the contamination is there because they make no effort to prevent it. That the wars carry on because they make no effort to stop them. That people are abused because they make no effort to defend them. That the main abusers continue to push open the doors, because it is not considered ‘spiritually correct’ to block them.
Is this really the great road to human emancipation?
When, I dare to ask, will such individuals be willing to channel the fruits of their awakening into bringing down the despots of destruction ? Those who continue to hold them and this planet to ransom. When will they dare to face the truth and act on it?
For at present too many are living a lie and calling it truth. They are simply perpetuating the failings of those who are always on the look-out for ‘a great escape’.
To make life whole, the spiritual/mental plane must be fully integrated into the physical/practical plane – and visa versa of course. Our true power lies in the marriage of social activism and spiritual aspiration. For in essence they are One, but have been divided against each other. Divided in two by powers that seek to derail humanity and capture the planet for their own despotic ends.
By integrating a steadily awakening spiritual awareness with a determination to bring deep social change – we can and will – overcome the divisive hold exerted by our oppressors. This is the only, yes only, way to achieve true liberation. Now is the time to unite.
Time is short. We are very far down the road of divide and conquer. This blood and war stained road to ruin. A state, we can now admit, which has been brought about through our own passivity and abstention, and through the control system capitalizing on this abstention. Let us not pretend that we are so delusional to imagine we can live-out our lives as enlightened slaves. One day, those who persist in turning their backs, may be rudely reminded of their selfish indifference by a uniformed thug with a gun in his hand. By then it’s too late.
Now is the time to take control of our destinies – to get on the front foot and seize the initiative. Words alone will not cut the ice, neither will prayers alone. In the end actions always speak louder than words. All those who claim the sanctity of the spirit, cannot forever turn away from confronting those who continue to systematically destroy the very air we breath, the very food we eat, the very water we drink, the very earth we live on.
We are fully equipped with – but have as yet failed to manifest – the courage necessary to turn the tide of history and to block the despots from tearing apart the uniquely precious soul of man and the beating heart of our living planet. True acts of love and of freedom manifest as bold and defiant determination. A far cry from the call for ‘love and light’ to sweeten one’s self-satisfied journey to a chimeric salvation.
There is no time to lose. A totalitarian jack-boot is about to crush our deepest and most precious aspirations. We must rise up and stand firm against it.
By bringing together, into unity, spiritual aspiration and social activism, we will be taking a quantum leap towards true empowerment. We will be instrumental in catalyzing a great turning point in humanity’s struggle to throw off its adversaries and lay the foundations of genuine freedom.
By braking the chains of divide and conquer we can – and will – bring to our doorstep the great victory we long for.
A victory which, at this very moment, lies right in the palm of our hands.
